Another big brand turns its back on customer support
Timberland used to be synonymous with high quality products & service, but that seems to have changed for the worse.
Shoes wore out at the heal after a few months sporadic use making them the most uncomfortable shoes I have the misfortune to own. Customer support lacked ownership as I was passed from pillar to post and no-one ever phoned me back. After weeks of chasing I was advised that the shoes would not be replaced under warranty & the problem is mine. Needless to say I will not be purchasing goods from Timberland ever again!
They take payment before delivery
They take payment before delivery, but take a long time to refund, now I am told it can be more than two weeks for the refund to be done.
I will not be making any more purchases from Timberland on-line.

Disappointed with Both Yodel and Timberland
I ordered a pair of Timberland boots on 12/09/2025, and they were supposed to be delivered by Yodel via InPost. It's now 25/09/2025, and I still haven’t received anything.
I’m extremely disappointed with Yodel – the tracking information hasn’t updated in days, there’s been zero communication, and no clear way to get help. It feels like my parcel has just vanished, and no one is taking responsibility.
But I’m also very disappointed with Timberland. I expected better from a brand like this. They chose to ship with Yodel – a company known for unreliable service – and haven’t stepped in to help resolve the issue. I’ve contacted customer service, and so far, nothing has been done to fix this.
I paid for these boots nearly two weeks ago, and I have nothing to show for it. Both companies have let me down, and I’ll be thinking twice before ordering again
My order NEVER arrived
My order NEVER arrived! I'm so disappointed with this company. My first time to order from them as I wanted that Summer sliders/sandals, No, it didn't arrive!
Thankfully I got my full refund. I bought it on 20th August, then September came, still nothing and the tracker kept saying it is arriving on the day I tracked it. It was so bad as I kept tracking and waiting I will not buy from Timberland again.
DON’T BUY FROM THIS BRAND
I bought a pair of Timberland shoes on the online official store, both shoes were labelled size 9. I barely wore them and after a while, when I realised that the length of the shoes was different (1 shoe was 2cm shorter than the other one) and I asked for a replacement, they refused saying that the warranty does not cover this type of manufacturing defect! What a joke, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 consumers are entitled to receive goods that are of satisfactory quality and this is clearly not! Plus warranty is 2 years. As a result I can not wear these shoes, as one of them it’s too painful on my foot. They are a scam, don’t buy from them.
Terrible Experience – Still Waiting for My Order with Timberland on…
I placed an order with Timberland on the 16th and, to this day, I still haven’t received it. Timberland chose Yodel as the delivery service, and the experience has been nothing short of awful.
The tracking system is useless, there have been no meaningful updates, and whenever I try to contact Yodel, I just get generic responses with no real solution. Timberland has also been disappointing in how little support they’ve offered to resolve this. For a brand of their size and reputation, I expected much better customer service and accountability.
It’s unacceptable to wait this long without a clear answer or delivery. This will definitely make me think twice before ordering from Timberland again, especially if they continue to rely on such unreliable couriers.
I have been buying Timberland steel toe…
I have been buying Timberland steel toe cap boots for many years probably spending thousands of pounds in that time, recently you have changed the boot which is now about 1 cm narrower and is not as hard wearing as before,I have photographic evidence of the previous boots and the new ones, why on earth you would change a winning formula I do not know and I am not alone in experiencing this as other people have commented on the poor quality of your boots now compared to previous purchases, it appears that although the price has incresed the quality has dropped off considerably, I am very surprised as I thought that Timberland produced high quality boots i look forward to hearing from you as to why you have chosen to produce an inferior product at a higher price
Refuse to honour warranty
In 2002 I bought a Timberland rucksack with a 30 year warranty. I have just tried to make a claim under this and they refuse to even consider the merits of the claim, they merely say that there is nothing that they can do.
Never go for it
Never go for it. I bought a black shoe of which color ran out in rain and water. It also had a leak which always made my socks wet. Disgusting product at that price.
DO NOT USE TIMBERLAND
DO NOT USE TIMBERLAND
I thought timberland was a good honest clothing company and the products were class, I imagined the customer service to be good as well.
But the truth is that it’s nothing as id imagined and I’ve been extremely let down.
They delivered to the wrong address, dumped my parcel on someone else’s property, didn’t even deliver to someone in person as stated in their delivery t&cs.
I called and emailed to request refund after I’d checked with my neighbours and everywhere round my property.
Timberlands response was nothing short of unbelievable. The fraud team and investigations contacted me to say that there is a photo of the delivery sat outside on the floor outside someone else’s property so therefore they have delivered what I ordered. Yes, to the wrong address. But they don’t care that someone else is now wearing the shoes I’d paid £50 for.
So they said , nothing they can do, I’ve now got to submit a charge back with my bank.
Absolutely disgusting. I will never buy from them again, and i will also inform anyone else who is looking to purchase from them to avoid like the plague

Ordered a pair of shorts and a cap in their sale. items were sent out seperately days apart. 1st package arrived which I thought contained my shorts but found a pair of boat shoes !!! had to return them as they won't exchange items even if they have sent the incorrect item.
The cap arrived a few days later. sent via Yodel who gave me a 2 hour window for the delivery but delivered 2 hours after that.
not impressed at all !!!!
This is a UK review.
What terrible products and service
What terrible products and service. The clothing fades and discolors in no time, and the shoes fall apart very quickly. Over the years, I’ve ordered quite a lot from Timberland, but the last pair of boots that broke after just six weeks of wear was the final straw. Customer service simply leaves you hanging and doesn’t even bother to respond. What a disappointment this brand has become...
It was a terrible experience
It was a terrible experience. I reported a problem with a delivery that was made to the wrong address. After I asked them to open a case, they responded a minute later saying that they had the information showing that the delivery was made correctly. They had no proof, yet they were certain. I was treated as if I were there to steal a 60-pound item. Unbelievable.
First order - great
I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews… I ordered shoes on Tuesday, chose express delivery, and they just arrived (Thursday). Shoes are super comfortable, quality is great, absolutely no issues. Thank you!
Extremely poor quality
Extremely poor quality! Part of the shoes is discolored, uncomfortable sole. Customer service refuse to activate the guarantee whilst it is a clear problem about the quality of the used leather.

They don't refund me the money after 2 months, I put a legal clame
Awful company
Awful company, does not care.
I’ll keep this short. I owned my timberlands for 11 weeks and wore them up to three days a week before holes appeared inside by the heels.
Timberlands washed their hands declaring it wear and tear. I’d worn them 30 times at work in a mainly office based job.
Timberlands have no shame. Please avoid them.
Refusing refund
Returned a pair of shoes and received email confirmation from timberland that it has been received and will be checked by returns team. Now they are saying that no return has been made. They are contradicting themselves.
Extremely Disappointed – Unwearable After Less Than 3 Months
I purchased Timberland boots for my son less than three months ago, and I’m absolutely appalled at the quality. The inside heel area has already worn away completely, making the boots unwearable and causing painful blisters. This kind of damage goes far beyond what anyone would consider normal wear and tear—especially for boots that cost £150 and are advertised as high quality and durable.
My son has only worn them for walking to and from college—nothing excessive or unusual. Timberland customer service has been dismissive, suggesting the damage could be due to improper fit or lacing. This is unacceptable. There were no instructions provided on how to lace them a “correct” way. I made absolutely sure they were properly fitted and comfortable from the start.
The fact that Timberland refuses to stand behind their product is incredibly disappointing. These boots were a significant purchase, and to have them fall apart in under three months is simply disgraceful. I will not be buying from Timberland again—and I would strongly urge others to reconsider before spending their money.
