Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 50 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Customers frequently express dissatisfaction with customer service, finding it unhelpful and unresponsive. Many also report significant problems with delivery services, often involving lost orders or incorrect deliveries. Reviewers frequently struggle to receive refunds, experiencing long delays or outright refusals. Concerns about product quality are also common, with items breaking quickly or having manufacturing defects. Many consumers highlight persistent problems with the delivery partner, particularly Yodel, leading to lost parcels and failed deliveries. When issues arise, customers are often told replacements are not an option, and face difficulties in getting their money back.

Absolute rubbish!

Absolute rubbish!! Attempted to purchase items via PayPal and credit card and klarna. The money was taken and an error occurred every time. You would think a company like Timberland could work out how to have an app that actually functions!!

NEXT DAY DELIVERY

Ordered product from website within the correct time frame and requested next day delivery. Didn't receive a despatch notification so contacted Tsvetomir in customer service. Was very patient with me, tracked my order, apologised for the delay and refunded the delivery as package was a day late. Thank you!

Timberland don’t practice what they preach

Absolutely appalling company and their euro hiking trainers only lasted one year due to poor workmanship and thin recycled materials. I only used them for casual walking around urban environments and never used them for hiking on mountainous terrain yet their inner heel fabric wore out with the underlying foam exposed and crumbling after one year. I tried to come to some kind of resolution liaising with customer service but they just ignore or eventually return a reply after a week or so. Their response is it’s normal wear and tear. This is ridiculous after only a year of light use. Furthermore, they advertise saying that their shoes are durable and have a two year warranty. Timberland really should improve their products and customer service and fulfil what they say on their website. I cannot recommend Timberland for this reason, and will not buy this brand again.

Worst customer service ever experienced, 6 emails, daily calls all ignored and unanswered. Avoid.

Ordered three pairs of boots as unsure of my size. Decided to keep one pair and send two back. Went to the returns portal to generate a free label. Website did not recognise order number so I cannot generate a return label. Have sent 6 emails and called every day for 12 days but never got through to a single customer service agent and the chatbot is useless. Have to return them within 30 days and now 14 Days have passed with no reply. Don’t know what to do to get a reply

2 pairs of timberland boots, 2 soles have fallen off..

I have had 2 pairs of timberland walking boots. The soles dropped off both pairs during walks. Both pairs are like new and with little use - but outside the 2 year warranty period. Timberland says 'we will be unable to proceed further with the warranty claim as the product is now outside of the warranty period'. They have recommended going to Timpsons.co.uk to get them fixed!.

My first and last order

I have had them for two months(Newmarket II Chukka for Men in Grey). I have never bought any of their products, and the soles came off on the first wear, which was absolutely disgusting quality. I wrote about the problem on their website, and no one responded.

Where’s my refund ??

I collected my Timberland order from Yodel parcel depot on Saturday 3rd August. Got home and only one pair of Clairemont Way sandals was in the box and I had paid for two pairs in different sizes for choice.
The box was intact and in perfect condition when I collected it, which suggests to me that there is a problem with the order packing process at Timberland. The label on the outside of the box states that there are two pairs of sandals in the box.
I contracted Timberland on Monday 5th August and the agent opened CASE NUMBER 19174061
I have called Timberland on the 5th 7th and 9th of August in addition to emailing. On the 9th August the agent said I would get a refund confirmation email on the 12th or 13th August - nothing received and it’s now the 16th and I am still waiting for my £60 refund !
Appalling customer service !!

Bought a pair of deck shoes ,took them away on holiday and wore them out for the first time and whilst walking through the hotel lobby the heel of the left shoe was sticking down to the tiled floor like a window sucker and popping as I pulled my heel up.had to continue walking on the side of my foot to stop it happening.looked at the sole and I could see the left shoe had a slight concave in heel, the right one was flat.returned the shoes to the store manager in st David Cardiff and he was not interested ,said I must of stepped in something sticky.emailed customer service and had the same negative response from someone in Italy called Leonardo saying unfortunately it’s wear and tear after emailing crystal clear photos that they look brand new! It must be a generic email they send saying the same thing to everyone.I’ve worn them 3 times! Disgusting attitude from manager in store and customer service. Timberland ,hang your head in shame. I will never buy your brand again!

Me & my wife went to shop at Westfield White City yesterday and the customer service (Joyce) and the store manager (Nick) are very helpful, excellent customer service.
Not just customer’s service it’s a friendly environment, both of us will go back again to experience how beautiful people they are and most of all so friendly. I’m happy to say 10 out of 10.

Never had a problem

Never had a problem, always buying online, twice had to return items, gloves (rubbish, same thin cotton ones like from Tescos) already with loose threads and shoes already with return box so just local drop off point and quick got money back, but not happy with some shoes being discontinued especially good ones like Bradstreet Chukka Gore Tex, light and waterproof very useful in crappy Scottish weather.

Oxford St shop is great

The shop on Oxford Street was excellent. Good service and good understanding of what I wanted. So much better than going on the internet!
Thank you,

I purchased some shoes and T Shirts for…

I purchased some shoes and T Shirts for a holiday. I went back to buy a hat and sandals and noticed that the shoes I had purchased the previous week £33 less. I asked if I could return the shoes and rebuy them for the lower price. I was told that the manager was not in and that there was nothing they could do. All I wanted was a fair deal as I was about to spend another £130 on top of the £191 I had already spent. The complaints company Resolver has not been effective. Rubbish customer service. I will not be purchasing Timberland products again.

Dont buy

I bought these sandals on 20/08/2023

I have only worn these sandals for the maximum of four weeks because of British weather
There is very bad degradation of the foot lining on the left sandal
I complained to Timberland as their policy states that
If anything happens that is not up to our standards, we offer a 30 days return period, or going further a 2-year period to claim warranty.

Timberland after reviewing my case and examining many photos that i sent them said they could not accept responsibilty.
The sandals look brand new and Timberland have a two year claim policy
I did expect more from a company which portrays itself as a premium brand.

Fingers Crossed !

I ordered some trainers which were delivered within 2 days (standard delivery) but as they didn't fit had to be returned. I was emailed a Yodel bar code after contacting Timberland via their Chat functionality and was very pleased to have notification of my refund to PayPal (including the original standard deliver cost of £4.95) less than 3 days after dropping off at the Yodel drop off point - so exactly 5 days from placing the order to receiving the refund.

Encouraged by this I made a number of fresh purchases at the weekend, however as this was before reading these absolutely appalling Trustpilot reviews I am now waiting fingers crossed & hoping that my initial experience was not a one off !

UPDATE. All subsequent purchases were again dispatched within 48 hours (standard delivery) of placing order & delivered within 72 hours. The one new return was again refunded to PayPal within 2 working days of dropping off at the Yodel shop.
My experience of ordering, Yodel delivery, returns & refunds has been 100% positive at every stage of the process & I will certainly be buying online again.

One small gripe though - I did post a less than 5star review of one of their products a good while ago & it was never put live on the Timberland site which still boasts “100% customer recommended” which should certainly not be the case!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Ordering on line is easy enough; the problems come if you need to send the order back. No returns label had been put inside my package and on the company's return site it says to click for one. Put order number in and clicked - said page unavailable. Did this several times yesterday, and today. NOTHING.
Have emailed company and they say they will respond in a few days. Let's hope they do. I will be posting again if not.

Terrible costumer service

Terrible costumer service. I was told that the specific shoes I wanted to purchase could for some reason only be shipped to the UK, and therefore travelled from Denmark to the UK to pick up my order. I placed two different orders for shoes in a size 8. I received my orders only to find out that Timberland shipped the shoes in a size 10 in both cases. Size 10 wasn't even available on the website when I placed my order. How can this happen?

I reached out to Timberland on the day I received my order. They are unwilling to help or answer my questions, and they have still to acknowledge that they sent me the wrong shoes. All they tell me to do is return the shoes and to place a new order - however they have been unwilling to tell me if they actually stock the shoes in a size 8 or how I can be sure that I will actually receive the right size this time. I also made it clear to costumer service right away that they shoes (including the ones that I returned) were no longer available on the website and to let me know how I could reorder the shoes in size 8 . After two weeks and numerous unanswered e-mails they have finally let me know that the shoes are no longer available. I therefore presume that the shoes in a size 8 were never actually in stock.

LIARS!

LIARS!
I ordered my shoes in December and I'm still waiting for them. No shoes and no money back. They answer my emails very nicely, they told me that they sent me new shoes, then they told me that they were also lost, then they told me that they also sent me the money - but in reality there is no result. I feel terrible because I was lied to.
