What a horrible company!
What a horrible company!! The line speed they supplied was less than 1% at best, they told us it was the line that caused the slow speed and not them. They will actually bully you in an attempt not to leave them and will not respond to complaints. If you change provider look out - they will send the bailiffs in!!

My mother passed away and on sorting her various services out I came across her telephone company was changed to this blasted company.
She was originally on talk talk but I recall her saying someone called her in 2015 saying due to talktalk being compromised her services were to change to these theifing bs. And when I tried to cancel her services I was told to send a deaf certificate in and request it be cancelled, thinking ok this is needed so as to confirm death and avoid cancellation fees. But no they sent out to her at her address an insensitive letter about change of supplier and a bill of £271.00 and stating another final bill would follow for remaining services used in arrears. On calling them of which I recorded conversation I was rudely spoken to like a robot demanded to speak to a manager who was no different saying it's their policy and contract is for 24 months so I asked when she joined them and confirmed June 2015 but apparently in 2016 oh and this is October lol a new contract was started as they changed her broadband to faster optic err my elderly mum needing broadband they are having a laugh she only wanted a phone so they are proceeding to charge a dead person for outstanding contract and a broadband cease fee of £35. Obviously they never arranged to collect her router box before has was given back to council so now will charge for that but like they said it's the ESTATE THEY CHARGE what estat my mother was a disabled pensioner renting so they proceede to tell me in which case it will be billed to the next of kin. I have never heard such disgrace and insensitivity. CAN THEY DO THIS LEGALLY.
STAY CLEAR ******* I called whom I …
STAY CLEAR ******* I called whom I thought was talk talk and signed up for fibre optic broadband and was advices that no company could gaurentee speed but from their experience I should receive speeds of around 15-22 m which suited me. I received my welcome pack and router and when I discovered it was not talk talk I called them and was told that I shouldn't be alarmed as they were as good a company as any other phone and broadband supplier. So I gave them the benefit of the doubt and on my go live date co. Extend my equipment and hey ho I had internet ..... well if you can call it that if one person was online no one else could go on so I called them to be told the signal takes 10 days to bounce back and forth to the exchange to build up speed. So not being clued up I accepted this info. 10 days down the line we are still in the same situation so I called again and after removing all wires the from of the connection. Box and so on was told I needed an engineer and that they would be in touch so I had no internet now. Eventually BT arrive and tell me I'm not connected to fibre optic as the lines all need changed so the boy chamges everything and goes. Days later I notice service is still very slow. Meanwhile I notice that timetalk had taken payments that weren't authorised from my bank and when I confront them on this on several calls I'm told a different story and different dates of when it will be returned. All which didn't happen. I demanded that I spoke to a manager and waited two days for a call from a manager to be told that the money hadn't been sent back to my account as they had to wait until people's payments had cleared in their account before they could refund me it was at this point t I demanded to be freed from my contract with them to which I was told this would not happen. I was then transferred to whom I told was head of technical support to sort my speeds and connection out and again we went through all the check wires in wires out box opened box closed laptop on change setting to be then told it was BT that had put a speed cap on my line so he would raise a case with them. Never heard anything back. Today my daughter is trying to submit her exams to uni and no internet so I yet again call and I'm told your account has been barred as you've not paid your bill so I check online and it shows it's out my account but she says it didn't go to them and the sent me an email which must be floating in cyber space as it's not in my account and that my £41 bill is now £72 with a £5 charge to pay it over the phone. I also asked about my fault that was escalated in October to be told the tried to phone me twice and couldn't get me so closed the case I ask which number they called me on and it's not even my number. So here I am awaiting g another call from management. Will keep you updated but please take my advice and STAY CLEAR x
Avoid...Avoid...Avoid
I start my review by saying that Time Talk should be shut down it is without a doubt the worst company I have every had the displeasure to deal with.
It all started on the 23rd of March 2016 when my husband who is 77 and slightly hard of hearing decided to phone up a company he believed to be Talk Talk to discuss about a better broadband service and ended up giving them his card details, gmail, phone and home address. My daughter and myself returned from shopping to find he was still talking to the company he believed to be Talk Talk but then he got worried about giving all his personal details over the phone so asked my daughter if she would cancel it which she did straight away and at the same time she discovered the company was not TalkTalk but Time Talk but it got cancelled and that was end of it so we thought.
On the 1st of April my husband discovered he had $50 taken out of his account by Time Talk he said to his bank it was obviously a mistake so they had it returned, end of story.......
The story continues with my husband getting a phone call on 2nd of May 2017 from a company called Quick collect saying that he owed $50 to Time Talk and would he pay it now to avoid court action !!! I then phoned Time Talk to ask them what was going on as my husband does not own any money to you and has never owed money to anyway, they insisted that he knew who he was talking to and the $50 was a cancellation fee, it was like talking to a brick wall as they repeated the same thing over and over again,I asked why they had not phoned, emailed or written to us about this and their reply was they have been phoning us for a year and had no reply which is total balderdash so I asked why they didn't write or email if they were not having any luck with phone calls their answer was we don't have to write or email people they should answer the phone !!
We have spoken to Citizen advice,Trading Standards and send the company a recorded delivery letter,we will await the outcome.
I have read all the reviews on here and I also say avoid this company like the plague.
Atrocious!!!!!
after reading the other reviews it is obvious that Timetalk tell lies and scam people. Not doing well with the reviews !!!! Shouldn't be in business... so DO NOT use them, they are atrocious!!!!!

Scam company
Timetalk and Supanet are both names used by a company called "Supacel".
They use very underhanded tactics, false information and even pretend to be other internet service providers to convince you to join.
They will then under the different company names withdraw various amounts of money from your account.
Do not be enticed by their cheap but falsely advertised deals as it will cost you considerably more in the long term.
Download speeds promised were between 15-17 mbs but the best speeds commonly achieved are in reality 2mbs.
If you are already unfortunate enough to be a customer i would advise you take this information to your bank.
Make sure that every company name i have mentioned and any subsidiary companies be blocked entirely from withdrawing any funds from your account before you try to contact "Timetalk".
Do not use
Do not use this company only if you want bad customer service terrible internet access I used them for 10months and I'm so glad I don not have to ring or speak to anyone in this company again. At one point I had to unscrew the socket which I was told is a normal thing to do.....IT IS NOT.. Especially if you have children running around. Longest time on hold after about 100 phone calls was 2hrs so I'm out of pocket with my phone bill paid and 10months of internet I couldnt use....worst internet company DO NOT USE...
jimmy

Breakdown
I have and am experiencing a breakdown due to this company...who reeled me in with nothing but a pack of lies . I went to my c.a.b for help but somehow I havnt succeeded in the cancellation of my fake contract which I've never received or signed for. They've taken monies unauthorised from.my account forcing a single Ill mum into debt. Threatened me with debt collectors and virbal abuse. I don't know who to turn to. Disgusting how I'm being treated expected to pay fortunes for 2 years 4 a service I didn't want !!! It's criminal lies and deceit. Help!! I'm going to the press and watch dog.
Poor communication
After recently moving house it was time to get broadband and after reviewing all the different deals we decided to go with TalkTalk. We googled TalkTalk and a number came up and I believe like everyone else who has signed up to a verbal contract 'mistakenly' with timetalk. If we were to exit the contract we would of had to pay the company back £50 for the fast installation of the telephone line service which they paid the BT company to speed up the installation process. So we decided to stick with timetalk hoping everything would be okay they would be realible.
We ordered the internet on the 11th of November and they said we'd receive a text within 48 hours of an appointment to when the engineer would come round. It wasn't till the 17th when we recieved the appoitment text which stated the enginner would come round on the 25th to sort out the internet. It wasnt until the 28th when the router was delivered to our house to actually use the internet.
Despite our concerns the internet is now sorted and is running ok. We're not using Fibre so we're running at about 2.5mbps. We have an Xbox and multiple mobile phones connected to the internet at once so it is rather slow; however, when one device is connected it runs smoothly.
To my knowledge internet doesnt depend on the ISP but the location. So no matter who we went with it would of been only been a little difference in speed.
Acted illegally.
In April of 2016, I went in to a branch of Carphone Warehouse to upgrade my phone contract and the gent behind the counter suggested that my home was now activated for fibre broadband via Talk Talk. I agreed to take this service in addition to my upgrade, signed the contract and awaited the delivery of equipment and a start date. At some point in the process, a company claiming to be Talk Talk called me to say that it was a mistake, I couldn't have fibre, and asked if I wanted to switch my standard broadband instead. I agreed, the company claimed to be Talk Talk throughout the process and the router was sent, the service started.
The service was unreliable, and so in September, I called Talk Talk to discuss what I could do to improve it. Talk Talk then said that I had no contract with them, and after much confusion, chasing around and listening to recorded phonecalls with them, it appears that my Talk Talk fibre contract was cancelled by a third party company, called 'Supanet' (Time Talk) and that it was them who had called me about replacing the fibre I could not have with a standard broadband service, all the while claiming to be Talk Talk.
I am now involved in a wrangle with them, an ongoing police investigation for online fraud and I have moved by internet service to BT (surprise surprise, Fibre is available in my area.)
After leaving their service, they have attempted on a number of occassions to extract money from my bank account under a number of different company names, for amounts ranging from £24 to £60 or £240. Nat West blocked these as fraud and cancelled my bank card, so I was forced to borrow money to get back from a meeting 40 miles from home.
Time Talk are criminals, it is that simple. Do not take a service with them, under any circumstances.
Waste of time
After getting the appy TV box off .I had problems non stop the box does not do anything as it should . ringing up customer service can take ages one day was ringing for over 50mins and still didn't get a answer . They wouldn't swap my box even knowing the problem's I'd had from day one .it's cheap but it's nasty .the internet is fine to be fair but that box needs binning .tryed sending box back still waiting on to send send back kit .😤😤😤😤😤
DO NOT TRUST...SCAM
i went with time talk in august 2016. they claimed to be a sister company of BT. this is not true i have found out.
the internet was so bad that dial up would of been quicker. i have phoned them on so many occassions to complain. i have told them i will be canceling because its so bad. they said i could transfer back to BT but when i took another contract with BT timetalk have firstly taken a months payment out...canceled the wifi 2 weeks before BT is to start and hit me with a bill for over £200 for early cancelation charges even thogh they said i could terminate early with no charges. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.....CANCEL YOUR DIRECT DEBIT BEFORE TELLING THEM YOUR LEAVING.
Follow up to previous review
Since my last comments things have got worse. The whole system crashed nationally for over two days. Ringing on an outside line, following the 20 minute wait was told that the engineers were fixing it. Off all day Thursday and Friday and back on Saturday morning. No apology!. An Email to steven johns will be rejected by their server, (note reference number in this margin.) My correspondence even though registered has been ignored and my direct debit doubled without authorisation. Timetalk have refused to transfer my telephone number to BT holding up my prospective departure by a week and causing extra expense to reprint headed notepaper and notify friends and businesses of the new number. There is an old litany" From ghosties and ghoolies and four legited beasties and things that go bump in the night, good Lord protect us"; let's add Timetalk.
TIME TALK ARE SCAMMERS.
So i signed up with time talk, offering unlimited anytime calls and free set up charge and good BT broadband. Second month of the contract i got £165+ bill in the post. They have told me that i dont have unlimited minutes. Not only to mention they customer service was DISCUSTING. I asked to cancel the contract and they were saying we have a full year left on the contract so we would need to pay £200+. So we left it struggling for a year. And a year is up and why are saying our contract finishes in 2017. They are ROBBING, THIEFS. AIMMING AT VUNERABLE PEOPLE. Im going to take them to the courts.
