I interviewed with a General Manager (GM) by the name of Gabriel Serrano in Phoenix. He seemed nice, self-aware and patient. We seemed to make a connection. However, come to find out the GM makes zero hiring decisions. It’s the district manager (DM), Jessica, who makes the final decision. I spoke with the DM immediately after speaking with the GM. The GM conversation was over an hour and the DM was about 10 minutes. Allegedly, she has been with the company for 16yrs and loves every minute of it. Narcissists do love every minute of making false promises while pretending to care.

She lied directly to my face. “We will definitely call you later today to go over additional details. If we don’t call today we will call you tomorrow”. This was after I shared how I would instruct a new applicant to download their App. She even said, “Wow, that’s the best we’ve seen explained of how to sell the product”. They never called back. I followed-up and was told I could expect a return call and that never happened.

The GM says all reviews for TitleMax are positive and the internet shows Google reviews are all 5 stars but this is impossible. TitleMax is lying. Ask yourself why are they lying? What are they hiding? June 13, 2022, another review on TrustPilot for this company advises that they will convince the customer to leave a 5 star Google review before leaving the store.

Now even if they call me back in the future because “something opened up” guess what if you couldn’t follow-through and communicate honestly then why can I expect anything different in the future. You destroyed your trust and credibility.

Ironically, one of the interview questions was “Tell me of a time when someone was dishonest and what was the result?” Read this review and understand why not to do business with this company. STAR

TitleMax will lie to your face while pretending to be your friend but in reality they’re a predatory lender.

I paid off my loan in 2017 -- and they have STILL NOT RELEASED THE LIEN. I have tried repeatedly to get them to do so and am told that "it's in process."

Thank you Emma at 1216 Spencer Highway for your determination and especially your PATIENCE. Even though there were a few hiccups with my loan application you PATIENTLY encouraged me to try again. Not once did you ever make me feel uncomfortable or inept at any time, even while taking pictures again in 90+ degree heat. If anyone else needs help, please ask for Emma. She is AWESOME!! THANK YOU!!

I have full confidence with Maricela at store SA20 in San Antonio Tx. She is a great asset to your company. She is very trust worthy, patient, explains everything over if I have any questions. She is kind , professional,her work ethics are excellent. I know when I come in store SA20 where she works I come in some what stressed and leave stress free. I trust her completely. I just hope she will stay there so I can continue doing business with title max because of her. Please give her a raise she deserves it from all the employees I have dealt with in the past at this location. Great job

I love My Title Max and my loan representative Gina at Thornton Lane in Temple Tx they make getting a loan so easy and don’t make you feel bad about having to borrow money like other loan places and Gina explains everything in detail without confusion

I visited one of your locations on the east side of Amarillo, Tx. Spur location.
I was greeted by a young lady ( Diann ) she was a great help in answering my questions as much as possible, I was pleasantly surprised to hear hear manager ( Jennifer ) help her in a very professional and training manner to answer any further questions.

Worse place ever! If you only make the bare minimum payments, you will never pay it off. First time I ever did a title loan and the last time. It’s a scam and they don’t even care

It seems this company just collects payments no offerings of any help even if you pay your payments on time! Last response wed like to discuss this with you? The same spiel no payment arrangements! Up to the store? Instaloan is just as bad! My advice after all attempts to resolve our issue with them do not ever take a title loan from this company you will owe it until you die! They could care less but miss one payment? Goodbye vehicle. Hard but sad lesson learned!!!

Melissa was very professional, proficient, knowledgeable about the process and informative. Very respectful, and I enjoyed speaking with her and starting a small loan . I surely recommend her if you need to fund a upcoming need and you have your title make the most out of it.
