Very slow to respond to requests. Currently trying to sell my property through auction- 3 times we have requested solicitors to send the legal pack, but each time it hasn't been sent. Recently assured us it was sent, which it was, but Auction House advised it was missing key documents, which has delayed our timed auction bid date- again!

Zahra Khan demonstrated exceptional brilliance throughout the entire process and successfully completed the process within a timeframe of just 8 weeks.

Overall, these are the best solicitors.

I have used TLPS now to purchase and sell a property twice in the last 2 years and neither have been straightforward but Ismail and Amina have been brilliant throughout.

Nothing was ever too much trouble and I couldn't fault their communication at all. This sale especially was very tough and took an incredibly long time to complete, but they were both supportive throughout and made the whole process far easier than I have found with other firms.

Would not hesitate to recommend or use again in the future!

I’ve used another company to complete my purchase, but I have to say the Law Partnership Solicitors is much more efficient. Especially Waris Soekarno, Head of the Private Client Department, always gives prompt replies and pushes everything forward. The staff are patient and professional to answer all the questions.

I appointed TLPP when purchasing my first property. It took 3 months from offer being accepted to keys collected. The only reason i gave 4 stars is because at the very start I felt that I made a mistake choosing them as emails weren't answered, calls were not returned, but then I spoke to Ismail and he dealt with my case till the end. I am sure that we could have completed earlier but bank took around 6 weeks to issue the offer (thanks to mini budget mess) and sellers lawyers were very slow too. I was definitely not the easiest client as I wanted to know what's happening almost every other day but Ismail was quick to get back to me with update or at least tell me that he has nothing yet.

The communication we received from TLPS was outstanding throughout our whole selling and buying journey. They kept on top of our case throughout and never let it fall behind. If we ever needed any questions answered they would be answered the same day and most cases within the hour or less!
We have dealt with different solicitors in the past and we never received the level of services we did with TLPS. We can honestly recommend anyone to TLPS with confidence. We would defiantly being using them again if we ever needed to!

standard on the solicitor front. It was my first purchase, and most people had told me before about solicitors being generally problematic, despite the high cost. However, I still went into it with my hopes high. Tlps charge a reasonable price, but you get what you pay for. Despite informing the solicitors I was looking to get the conveyancing done in 4 weeks, and paying them extra for it, completion was 2 months later. Repeatedly had to chase them up about sending over contracts and communicating with the seller's solicitors, despite looking at the legal documents myself before the purchase due to it being via auction, meaning they didn't have to do any surveying. I delivered the contracts to them on the same day they sent them, so it's not as though the delay came from me. So far, I was giving them 3 stars, but it is what happened after the purchase which has knocked it to 1. Finally got everything sorted 3 months after completion: the solicitors didn't file the documents in a timely manner with the leasehold agency, meaning I couldn't get full access to the property until a month after purchase. Furthermore, they were slow to deal with a payment mistake by the seller's solicitors, and finally rectified it after weeks of badgering from myself, while the lease management agency was threatening me due to lack of payment.
When you are paying someone over 1K, I was expecting better service, not giving them a call at 4, and being told the conveyancer had left for the day, despite opening hours being 9-5. I'm sure most people's good experiences are sincere, and the firm is good as long as there are no hitches in the sale, but tlps wasn't great in my experience.
Update: They actually tried to get my bad review removed from the site, hopefully this one makes it up...

We used TLP for both purchase and sale of our properties. The price was very competitive and definitely they know what they're doing. They get the job done, they do not over-charge, even we lost our one buyer during the process, they did not ask additional cost for the second. Ismail and Amina were professional, helpful and always accessible. A very good service, I would use them next time.

TLP Solicitors recently handled the conveyancing of a house sale and purchase for us. We engaged them following their handling of a separate house sale in 2021 which went very well.
What particularly impressed me about their service was that it was easy to communicate with them. In comparison, our buyers seemed to find it extremely difficult to get their solicitors to return a call or answer an email, but on almost every occasion I called TLPS I got through to someone who could help or give me an update on status. Emails were also answered very promptly. We had a good few problems with our sale, but we worked through them and I felt I was offered good advice when I asked for it. I hope we don't have to move again for a few years, but if/when we do I will almost certainly return to TLPS to handle any future conveyancing. And their fees seemed very reasonable too!

We were very apprehensive when using an online Conveyancer after having a bad experience selling our flat. However we needn’t have worried we used TLP for both purchase and sale of our properties and there price was very competitive. From start to finish Ismail, Amina and Zahra were both professional and efficient coming back to my emails very quickly and always there on the phone to answer any urgent queries. Moving can be a very stressful time but using TLP at least makes the legal side stress free thanks so much to your whole team.
