Total Rip Off

$90 shorts that lasted 5 wears over one year. I've had clothes for 20 years I've worn dozens of times that look almost new. I contacted Corporate for a remedy and was told fabric and construction flaws are seen in 90 days. LOL You can clearly see where the holes in the fabric were barely sewn and 2 different color fabric was used when these were supposed to just be gray shorts. Won't be buying anything by this brand again. Tons of other choices for a lot less money and better quality and customer service when there's an issue.

Hasta la vista, Tommy Bahama.

I have been purchasing items from Tommy Bahama since their inception almost 30 years ago. In years past, I have always enjoyed their products and service. Over the last couple of years, however, both have fallen off a cliff. Instead of natural fibers like silk, cotton or linen, most of their products now include some variation of polyester or "eco viscose". To make matters worse, their default shipper is the fabulously terrible FedEx Smartpost. Incredibly slow and effectively untrackable, It takes 10 or more days to get products from their Southern California warehouse to my Northern California home. I guess they send it by 20 Mule Team.

Bad experience

Bad experience. Waste of time and frustration with purchase. TB sent me a $50 discount card. Last night I bought a $130 shirt. The discount was not deducted so I immediately requested cancellation (twice). They actually make it very difficult to cancel. Only email to CS. Now this morning got an email that the order can not be cancelled. Called TB and no help. They are pushing the order. I do not want the merchandise. I will have to waste more time with refund, returning and calls. I really hate to have wasted this amount of time and the aggravation with what appears to be a dishonest company. Do not recommend to buy online from Tommy Bahama.

Can't Order Online!!!

Just placed a large order less than a week ago. Everything went fine with the process, even had returns and the phone conversation was top notch. Now I go back to the site to place another order and its very frustrating. Cookies keep popping up, I go between Men's and Tall Men's and I lose my Cart or Bag as they call it. I finally get an order and then to checkout, poof my order is gone. Come on this is simple stuff.

Keep your receipt or you are screwed.

I purchased an $80 stretch belt about 2 months ago in Las Vegas while at a conference. Now I'm in New York. The elastic in the belt unraveled. My local Tommy Bahama store treated me like I had leprosy when I asked for help. Toll free cannot help me without a receipt - the charge on my credit card does not allow them to help me. I called the store in Las Vegas. They have no receipt. Beware that you will get no help with defective merchandise without the receipt.

Tommy Bahama Out with the Trash

Bought a $140 Tommy Bahama shirt while on vacation in Nassau, Bahamas in late Jan 2022. Wore it once and upon the first professional cleaning the dye in a brown button bled and permanently stained the shirt. Very clear what happened. TB "guest services" advised that the shirt was too old, so I was SOL. I’d owned it for 60 days.

Hey Oxford Industries: Genuine luxury lifestyle brands act the part. Take a lesson from losing a very long standing customer who is now all done with Tommy Bahama, Southern Tide and whose wife has a closet full of Lilly Pulitzer. My daughter the social influencer will have a field day with this. How very petty of you

Lacking in customer service

Nine days ago I bought a pair of shorts in one of the SW Florida stores and wanted a second color in my size. The store ordered it and I opted for free shipping. The tracking number, so far, has been useless and doesn’t provide a delivery date. I was hoping to get them before I leave for my trip but finding out that they were sent from Washington State via USPS gives me little hope. For the price they charge it seems like they could give 21st century service or at the very least better inventory control.

Longtime customer…but My last 3 orders…

Longtime customer…but My last 3 orders have had issues of being sent incorrect items, every delivery date is postponed and then does not even arrive on that date!! FedEx is the worst source for their delivery. Love their items… now I don’t think it’s worth the frustration each order brings.

TB will not acknowledge lost goods or…

TB will not acknowledge lost goods or provide refunds. Have made 46 purchases and last two were horrible endeavors. Now $136 worth of goods, paid extra for FedEx shipping, have never arrived. Sent two complaints to company with no response, Guest service call was useless. Will contest since used credit card but company will never get another cent from me.

Dissatisfied Long-time Customer

I am a longtime customer and never returned an item until I tried today. I don't wear my TB sport shirts all the time so was surprised when one ripped under the arm pit area looking like a fabric failure after about 6 months. The CS person and the supervisor would not consider a replacement since 90 days has passed. A poor way to treat a 10-year+ customer over one return when the shirt fabric was defective. Where are they sourcing their fabrics now? Makes me want to go elsewhere now for casual wear.

Gone to the dogs

Shorts used to be a huge fit. Clearly they are being made overseas. The quality and fit have gone. Be advised do not buy the products if you are outside the USA. It will end up costing you half the cost in duties and taxes which they will not return. Complacency as normal will end their reign. Disappointing as I have purchased several products in the past. Customer Service does it exist ?

No concern for the customer

Tommy Bahama is obviously using their store inventory to fill orders. Instead of receiving individually sealed items in a plastic bag I received 4 items thrown into a large box with crinkled up paper. I called customer service and was told they are filling orders from available store inventory prior to using the warehouse inventory. They were unwilling to send them again through the warehouse. So Tommy Bahama wants you to return items in the condition you received them, however, they are unwilling to send the customer new "not tried on by several people" items. I paid an expedited FedEx fee for this abusive packaging which customer service would not provide a reimbursement. Additionally, they have instituted an invasive cookie policy. It ismore than obvious that they do not care to keep their customers.

Tommy Bahama Cookie policy is rediculious. I had 32 items in my cart. Went to check out and the items disappeared. Frustrated I went to bed. Got up, I went back into shop today but the “accept Cookies” pop ups are too frustrating to continue. The pop up came every 10 seconds. DONT SHOP TOMMY BAHAMA. DEAR TOMMY BAHAMA...,Can you stop with the FING cookies and let me shop and I’ll go back.

I am so upset I had bought two tommy…

I am so upset I had bought two tommy bahama sweatshirts at a total. Cost of 135 dollars each they have a, 90 day return I never wore these I gently washed them. They fell. Apart I spoke to. A rep. They are outside the 90 days u have to remove the tags to. Wash. I thought they came from. Tommy Bahama or through Macy's or Nordstrom. In any event I loved the sweatshirts. I mailed them back out 270 plus 20 in shipping they've got horrid return policy I want credit toward two sweatshirts!
