Myself and my wife had a customised 16 days VIP tour package in China with muslim halal food meals included. We had major problem with muslim halal food arranged by TCT tour company. My wife had food poisoning and admitted one night in hospital in Beijing. The tour guides and the tour company are not aware of muslim halal food requirements. They think muslim halal food is any food without pork or pork oil or wine.
The hotel and transportation arrangements were very good by the tour company.

In Zhangjiajie city our tour guide English was very poor. She was changed on second day after complaining. The new tour guide English was good but she did not have any experience as tour guide. We missed some of the attractions in the program because of unexperienced tour guide. The tour company were trying to resolve the issues when we complain. However some of the issues such as muslim halal food arrangement were not resolved in some of the cities we visited.

Another annoying issue was the budget for lunch. The first day in Beijing we were advised that your budget for lunch is 70 Yan per person per day only addition cost you have to pay. We complained to the travel agent because this was not mentioned or agreed in our package agreement. They increased it to 100 Yan per person per day. Despite this change when we go another city the tour guide tell us your budget is 70 Yan again and we do not accept and then they contact their office to verify.
In general we did not enjoy our 16 days trip in China for two main reasons; non availability of muslim halal food or good international seafood and communication/language barriers. We will not go back to China again.

I found Frederich to be minimally effective. He was a poor communicator and did not respond in a timely manner. He was expecting me to understand the ways to fill things out on the computer. I believe he needs more training in how to relate to people in my age group( over 70)

Thank you for the tour for providing us with a lot of informative information about the sites and places visited. One of the features that we did not expect was that one particular tour guides would bring you to shops where we felt that we had to buy some items that were not part of the itinerary. We were not aware that one of the tour guides made us feel uncomfortable when he checked our items a few times, perhaps wanting to make commission and get referral fee from our items.

Amelie who was our coordinator fully internalised our needs and developed a bespoke itinerary for us. She was especially patient when we had to do numerous iterations to map out the requirements, and even when we were on the tour, she was responsive to meet our new needs and proactive to ensure we had a good time. The guides were also friendly and professional, and special shout out to Ivy and Linda for the Xian and Beijing segments respectively where they went out of her way to help us find places to do what we wanted/buy.

My wife and I had a 4 week Top China Travel tour of China in November of 2024. While not the ideal tourist season, the guides/drivers, lodgings, weather and locations were all we could have asked for and we basically had the entire country to ourselves!!
We initially contacted a lady named Tracy from TCT Guilin, China, to begin our tour organization. She was friendly, professional, very involved and provided a basic 11 day tour itinerary to consider and then helped us sort out where we wished to go, places see and things to do during our China Holiday.
She was fully able to arrange everything we needed for our 28 day tour and was always available during the tour for questions and suggestions!
We visited 10 different cities, along with Hong Kong, Macau and Tibet. We saw Tienanmen Square, The Forbidden City, palaces and gardens, The Great Wall, Terra Cotta Warriors, Potala Palace (at about 12,500 feet ASL) in Lhasa Tibet, the Panda Research Center, Chongqing and a 3 day cruise on The Yangtze River and visited the 3 Gorges Dam and Yichang.
We saw Shanghai, Suzhou, Hangzhou, and lots of country.
Bullet Train rides at 300 KPH, flights to Tibet, buses, private cars, great hotels, excellent food suggestions (Yak in Tibet), walking tours, many Monasteries, Temples and Palaces and local street visits made the experience unforgettable! We were taken to train stations or airports, put on the correct transport and then met by new guides and drivers at the next tour stop. It all went off without a hitch or problem!
Our city guides and drivers could not have been any better! They were professional, courteous, very knowledgeable and extremely patent with us 'Old People' and were always open to slight modifications along the way......
We CANNOT recommend TCT any higher and plan to look into future tours with them as they do tours to most Asian countries! Our biggest "THANK YOU!" to everyone involved with making this a 'Tour of a Lifetime!'

The tour guide Comeil is an excellent guide. Very organised, accommodating and service oriented. She plans ahead, is punctual and goes out of her way to make you comfortable. Very happy she was assigned to us. Checks everything to make sure guests are happy.

My experience with TOP China Travel started off amazing with the impeccable service and assistance provided by consultant Lillian. She was not only incredible in the sales process, but also in the after-sales process and advised me throughout my trip, always at my disposal. I didn't worry about anything at all, my trip was almost perfect from start to finish.
I stayed in the best hotels in all the cities, with attentive and helpful guides, friendly, flexible and very knowledgeable, who speak English very well! Clark in ChengDu and Ronan in Zhangjiajie were special! China is an incredible, beautiful country, with very friendly people. I will definitely be back!

We had a custom plan itinerary for a group of 11 friends (Singapoe, Malaysia, Swiss & French) to Beijjing, Xian, Zhangjiajie, Gulin & Shanghai. It was a well organised trips from; hotel (4-5 stars) very clean & spacious kingsize bed room. A big selection buffet breakfast, lunch serve very authentic local meal. Tourguides very experience and helpful. Careful Drivers. Almost everything good except a minor set back due to Taifun in Shanghai but Martin very professional and carry up all the job till end for us. Thanks to Lily who organised the trips for us and contacted me from the begining till end. I must said it was a far more beyond what we had expected. Well done to all of you. We will come back again.

My husband and I went to China for the first time in October 2024. We visited Beijing, Xian, Zhanjiajie, Guilin and Shanghai. It was a custom-made tour and eth was organized together with Iris from Viaje de China. To begin with, the communication with Iris was in Spanish. It was very fluent and quick. All our doubts were answered promptly, which made us feel the company was trustworthy.
At every destination, a Spanish speaking guide was waiting for us at the airport or train station except for Zhangjiajie, where an English speaking guide was in charge (we were told in advance that in this place we were not going to have a Spanish one). The hotels as well as the food were excellent. The guides were very qualified and nice to talk to. We had plenty of time to visit the different places and never felt hurried to move on.
The places we visited were mind blowing and, really I didn't expect to have a such marvellous time.
I strongly recommend TCT and would definitely plan another tour with them.

I would highly recommend this agency to organise your next trip! We spent 3 weeks in China on a private tour without a single glitch! Top China Travel provided us with an incredible experience and life long lasting memories from start to finish. All services were excellent including airport hotel transfers, train services, accommodation and experienced guide services.
Travel consultant Tracy Su combined two tours together to meet with our requirements including trip to Lhasa and always respond to us with promptly to our queries. Provided all the required documentation in time for obtaining Visa etc.
TCT guides were well experienced in their local highlights, we found they were very observant on tour participants and always client focused go over their limits to fulfil the client requirements.
Transport services were well organized with airconditioned vehicles with very safe drivers and all the hotels provided during our three weeks in China were excellent.
Can recommend to any prospective traveler who wish to visit China and other Asian countries.

My husband and I and our friends--another couple that we have been traveling with for over 20 years--decided on China and Hong Kong for this year. After doing a significant amount of research, I contacted Top China Travel and spoke with Rebecca, who remained our trip advisor and who helped me design a highly customized trip. Rebecca was AMAZING!!! She is excellent to work with, very knowledgeable and highly professional. Over the course of our trip we visited 5 cities: Beijing, Xian, Guilin, Shanghai and Hong Kong. In each city, we were greeted by a guide at the airport and taken to our hotel by our private driver in very comfortable vans. The hotels were beautiful and the sites were all wonderful. All in all, we had a glorious time on this trip; expertly organized and very accommodating to our specific and personal needs. This is a great company and I recommend them most highly!!!! A word about our Guides: they were all EXCELLENT and truly made our trip more enjoyable. We received remarkable attention; our uides were always one step ahead in planning our itinerary in the most comfortable way. We learned a lot from all of them about the fascinating history of China and all the beautiful sites. And always with a smile!! I would like to make mention of one Guide who was EXTRAORDINARY!! HER NAME IS TING AND SHE WAS OUR GUIDE DURING OUR STAY IN SHANGHAI!! Ting was very personable, knowledgeable, forever cheerful, and used her expert knowledge of Shanghai to really give us an inside view of this glorious city!! I recommend her most highly!! In Beijing, our Guide was SISI (hope I am spelling the name properly!) She was also truly wonderful and gave us a great tour of the city!! Sisi really knows her history!! Similarly our guides in the other cities were excellent as well. Our drivers were all very good as well. All in all, this was a fabulous trip!! As highly seasoned travelers, we have developed discriminating tastes in travel. When we are ready to return to China to see more of this beautiful country, I will not hsitate: I will call Top China Travel immediately!!

In April and May, 2018, my wife and I went to China. We booked our trip online from Australia. The girl we dealt with was called Rebecca. She was absolutely fantastic. We changed our minds, about our destinations, many times, in the planning process but Rebecca was always there to give us advice and make suggestions. At one stage, we hadn't heard from her, for about two days. She apologised for the delay because she got married!
We went to Shanghai, Guilin,Kunming, Dali, Lijiang, Chengdu, Lhasa, Xian and Wuhan. We had the good fortune to meet Rebecca when we were in Guilin. It was great to meet the person, who had made our trip so absolutely successful.
We found out about Top China Travel, via Trip Adviser. We can only say, from our experience, if you are going to China, book through them and ask for Rebecca. Rebecca was a pleasure to deal with and she is an absolute asset to this company.
