We have gone to Tortuga Lodge twice and enjoyed it a great deal both times. The lodge, the food, the service, the rooms, the activities, and being in the forest was all very special. We're thinking of going a third time.

The staff was helpful and great making sure you are confortable all the time. The free activities they have are lovely and the staff doing it very motivated. The garden and the poll area is clean and they take care. Room experience is just normal but you use it mainly to sleep. I would recommend this Hotel if you go to tortugero. another good thing is that the Airport of tortugero is just crossing the river in front of the hotel, so movement out of tortugero in out is excellent.

Beautiful lodge. Nice and friendly people. Perfect.

Best nature reserve accommodation in Costa Rica!

Wonderful location! Loads of nature, animals and complete relax!

Perfect place to spend a few days in the jungle. Lots of wildlife to see, interesting tours and free shuttle boat to village with restaurants and shops. Food in the restaurant was good. I’d love to go again.

We were welcomed very graciously and everything was made so that we could enjoy our stay. The rooms were clean and spacious and we ran across (gracious) wildlife on the lodge lawn. The pool is on the smallish side and you have to be equipped against mosquitoes, but that is to be expected everywhere in the area.
Staff was polite and made sure we were correctly attended to. Overall a very good experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return in a heartbeat. Tortuga Lodge does a great job of explaining what to expect given the nature of the nature at the location! I recommend that anyone considering a stay reads the information provided.

We used costa Rice Expeditions for two of our trips to CR and on our first in 2015, we visited Tortuga Lodge and Gardens. What a magical place it was. The location is amazing, the room was spacius, elegant and comfortable. Staff were outstanding in every aspect. The food was delicious every day. We especially loved going to the nearby school to speak english with the kids. What a great program. I would absolutely recommend!

Tortuga Lodge is beautiful. The rooms are lovely and the surrounding environment is enchanting. Beautiful birds, giant iguanas, and of course the iconic turtles laying eggs on the beach at night. This was the best part of an enchanted trip.

We loved it. Right on the river, monkeys in the trees behind us! Beautiful trip into the national park. Guides were excellent, staff was friendly, accommodations were very nice. Go and enjoy this unique experience!!

We had a wonderful time in Tortuga Lodge and Gardens.
We went back a second time as our experience was so enjoyable.
We read up on the Lodge beforehand so knew exactly the type of accommodation we were getting. The food was delicious. Guides on the expeditions we took were very informative and friendly.

Everything about this place was terrific. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable, the maid services were great. I ate ate the restaurant in the hotel and had a sufficient choice of both locally nice foods as well as foods for the tourist. Again, the waitpersons were all very helpful and polite. The concierge in the lobby helped me make some important choices. Being in the jungle, it had beautiful surroundings; Even the iguanas seemed friendly. I would definitely want to stay here on my next trip.

We loved our stay at tortuga lodge. The food and service were great and the sightseeing trips we took were great fun. I recommend offseason as the various nature parks are crowded in season

Excellent company to work with! Reservations made through email and with special transportation when we left. The Lodge was amazing with the best staff and food was authentic and tasty.
