The small leads I ordered have small collars but the leads are very heavy for small dogs. The buckles are very big and heavier than I expected.

Hi Cherie, we are sorry that you were not happy with your purchase.
The Sparkle Plaited Slip leads do weigh less than 300g, to put into perspective. There are no buckles on these products, but you did select the optional swivel attachment which i think you are referring to. We use this size swivel as it has to be appropriate for the width of the webbing, plus up to our high standards of durability - we will not use cheap hardware I'm afraid.
We sell a large volume of these products to all sizes of dogs - our apologies that you felt they were not appropriate for yours.
