I ordered an English/French adapter for our hot tub yesterday morning, a last minute thing as we leave for France on Wednesday. It was manufactured yesterday as they had none in stock, dispatched yesterday afternoon and arrived this morning. Outstanding service in my opinion.

The Director, Adrian, couldn’t have been more helpful guiding me through the process of selecting the right cable solutions for EV home charging. After a series of email exchanges to navigate this new world of EV driving I am absolutely satisfied with the service and purchase of a granny extension cable to 3 pin plug that can fit through a letterbox. In addition the Tough Leads products are of the highest quality and will be my go to company for my future needs.

I was told my order was being sent on the 1/6/26. As of the 10/6/26 the item has not arrived. I've sent two emails trying to find out when my item will be delivered to Adrian South who had advised me on what I should buy. No reply from him now and no contact telephone number on their website. I tried to use their contact page to find out about my delivery but this is not working. Very poor service assuming that it is not a scam. Update: Still no replies or product as of 15/6/26

I purchased an outdoor timer switch from Tough Leads that was advertised to work without a wifi connection once it was set-up. Despite several attempts we could not get it to work. I contacted Adrian at Tough Leads who initially was very helpful and said they would test one and get back to me. They never got back to me. I have sent several emails and still no response.

I have 2 leads from them 1 for the car to charge the other for the hot tub and both are very well made no issues until now.

I ordered am extension for EV charging and asked for it within 3 days, It was delivered in time and a great product.

I was looking high and low for good quality, durable 13 amp extension cables. Tough Leads provides exactly that and much more. Using excellent cable, plugs and sockets at a very good price, I'm a very satisfied customer. Add to that a speedy delivery and I can wholeheartedly recommend Tough Leads!

This is exactly what we needed after picking up our first ever EV without first sorting out a charging point! I ordered the 25m variant with the RCD plug, it arrived well packaged and very quickly via DHL, upon using it it's giving me the same predicted charge time as if I hadn't been using it, this must mean the cable's up to the job, which it certainly feels like it is!

Thanks guys, a great product at a good price, plus you've saved me reversing down a narrow drive to get to the back garden socket - that alone is worth the price!

ToughLeads was recommended to me, to supply a 32A/16A Adaptor to protect my narrowboat 16A shoreline. Before proceeding, I looked at other options as a comparison, but these others provided limited technical description and only vague info on the grade of cable provided (a critical issue), so I decided to go with ToughLeads as they provided very detailed information especially cable requirements. I emphasised my need to install this at short notice, and they agreed to upgrade to a priority Royal Mail parcel service at no extra cost. Also, they offered to include FOC the necessary 16A plug to replace the 32A plug installed on my shoreline. The Adaptor set was delivered in good time, and has now been installed. Whenever I had a query ToughLeads responded quickly to provide the support and expertise I needed. I can fully recommend ToughLeads to provide an excellent product and related service at a fair cost.

I bought an EV and needed to get something sorted to be able to safely charge. I ordered the heavy duty WiFi extension lead with RCD.

It arrived a couple of days later and was made of high quality components. 25 minutes later I had run it, mounted the socket on the wall and got it setup on WiFi.

It integrates with home assistant so I can automate turning it off and on as well as monitor how much power is going through it while my car charges.

Would highly recommend if you need an extension or granny charger.

I ordered a 25m ip66 extension cable. It works as expected, it looks and feels safe. It is shown as advertised. And arrived much faster (4days) than I anticipated. Good service.

Worth the money I’ve paid. Great item and excellent communication with the team. Perfect item. I recommend it.

Warning to avoid

Ordered a foot switch. Claiming it was IP rated, PAT tested and made in Britain.
The foot switch has a sticker saying made in china, and doesn't have CE or UKCA markers on it and the switch is not IP rated.
Contracted support 2 weeks ago and no communication.
Requested a refund from their website over a week ago and the only communication I have received is an automated message saying it the request to return is awaiting review.

Incredible customer service! I contacted Tough Leads three years after purchase because I had snapped the lid of my charger. I only wanted advise regarding where I could purchase a replacement. Adrian at Tough Leads posted a replacement at zero cost. This is a company that cares about their product and their customer. Thank you
