Really lovely small and friendly estate agent, just bought our first home and they were very considerate with our requests to come and visit a couple of times before exchange, all communication was prompt and efficient, no hard sell!

I have used Townend on a number of occasions to sell properties. They are professional and friendly, Valued my property on Monday, it went live on the websites Wednesday, and was sold by Saturday morning. Excellent, friendly service and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Always answered the phones promptly and always got the right person answering, never on hold or passed on to another agent, better yet no endless answer phone.
They did exactly as promised, gave good honest advice, not always what I wanted to hear but I got a fair price and a relatively easy sale. This was the second time they sold for me and they know their market.

Gave good advice about my property's unique selling points and about the market at that time. Advert up and running very soon. Don't use rightmove which I was surprised about but still had plenty of viewings.

Townsend were very responsive, never had to wait more than two rings for the phone to be answered, I did feel that they went above and beyond to help me sell my house, the only complaint I had was that some of the clients who came to view the house, said that they had difficulty getting appointments for a second viewing for example, but I certainly had no complaints.

Really great team at Townend from martin and Nick to Jake and josh. They were really helpful from day one. From the very first meeting when Martin had to help me lift heavy band equipment so we could take pics to the very last day when josh was very reassuring that everything would go to plan. I'd recommend this super efficient estate agents to everyone. Keep up the good work guys.

Martin and the team from start to finish were great in selling my property in Bradford. Martin has years of experience in selling properties in the local area and from our initial meeting filled me with confidence that he had my best interests at heart and would ensure he not only got the right price for me, but the right buyer/s.

Throughout the process I was regularly kept up to date through Martin's other colleagues (Josh and Jake), who were always polite and pleasant to speak to as well as down to earth and straight talking.

After being messed around by one buyer, the house was put back on the market promptly and a new buyer found. The sale completed on 6th May 2022 and I was very pleased with thr service I had received from Martin and all his colleagues at Townend Estate Agents. I used the branch in Idle, but think I spoke to colleagues at other sites as well. I wasn't kept waiting when I sent emails with any queries and if a voicemail was left, I was called back promptly.

We have used Townend Estate agents before so we had no problem using them again as they are head and shoulders above the rest

Cannot recommended Townend enough! They are brilliant. We have used them twice now and wouldn’t use anyone else. The service is second to none, the communication is fantastic and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. We had issues with our onward purchase and they kept our buyer updated every step of the way. We cannot thank you all enough for everything and wouldn’t hesitate to use you again.

I must say Townend are a fantastic Estate Agents, with a knowledge of the area second to none!
From the initial meeting for the valuation, Martin knew the area, houses and the demand, so was able to get the best possible price.
The team at Townend were all great and were great to deal with, special mention to Josh for all his hard work!
Our initial buyers pulled out of the purchase, which we thought would cause the purchase of our new house to fall through, but no, Townend already had a list of people that had wanted to view the house, re-sold within one day!
Once the sale was agreed, you would imagine that Townend would be out of the picture, but they worked to ensure the Conveyancers were on the ball and provided regular updates on the process.
Buying a house is stressful as it is, Townend were the silver lining, I would have no hesitation in using them again or recommending them.
