I recently had an appointment with Dr James Garritt at Tracey Bell Dental Clinic. I had a problem with my denture that fits onto 4 titanium implants, unfortunately I had lost 2 of the grommets in the denture and it was no longer fitting properly. As the implants are over 20 years old, James could not find the matching replacements. I know James always thinks outside the box for this type of challenge, 3 visits and the denture was fitted back onto the implants with ease. Thank you James from Mrs M. 😊⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My young son recently needed some dental treatment, and I cannot praise Dr Tayyaba Salman at the Tracey Bell Clinic highly enough. She was absolutely brilliant from start to finish.
Tayyaba took everything at my son’s pace, making sure he felt safe and comfortable throughout the appointment. Before each step, she explained what she was going to do and even demonstrated it in a way he could easily understand. Her patience was incredible, especially when he became scared and uncooperative.
What really stood out was her calm, reassuring approach. She never rushed him or made him feel pressured. Instead, she helped him build trust and confidence with every little step. Thanks to her, he now feels so much more comfortable about visiting the dentist, and I’m genuinely grateful for the positive experience she created for him.
I would highly recommend Dr Tayyaba to any parent looking for a kind, patient, and truly child‑centred dentist. She has made a world of difference to my son.

This is an update on my review on the 24/05/25 regarding my tattoo removal treatment.
I have read your reply to my original post and it is as expected.
You can certainly talk the talk! I am still waiting for this support you kept promising me. (I have retained all emails from the clinic stating this)
I can only reiterate that my consultation and All my treatments were done by one person only! So your investigation, basically, consisted of you asking this person and, obviously, you are going to support him whatever he told you. I was not expecting you to admit any responsibility for the damage BC caused.

Since my last review I have consulted with an Advocate who was willing to take on my case but I decided, at my age, I could not waste years pursuing this and I didn't want to risk losing any more money.
I did ask the clinic for a refund but this fell on deaf ears. What a surprise!

I went to a reputable tattooist in the hope of getting a coverup tattoo but, even though, he has tried twice now to tattoo over the damage it is not taking as the damage is so severe. So the scarring is permanent!!
I would say you should be ashamed of yourself for the damaged you've caused but, in my opinion, you would have to have a conscience for that!!!
I stand by everything I have said now and previously and I hope it helps someone to make an informed decision.

Tattoo removal left me scarred for life.

Having read other reviews of poor tattoo removal aftercare at this clinic, I feel compelled to leave my review as well so that no one else goes through what I’ve gone through the last couple of years or so.

After one of the sessions of tattoo removal my skin opened up and it left a hole in my leg. I was told over and over again (after many emails to them to explain that I was worried about it) that it was ‘normal’, but It was not. Ignoring my concerns the clinic continued to laser around the wound, and the wound grew bigger and deeper over time, the skin the the middle of the wound was black!

The clinic eventually took steps to fix the initial infection after I had had enough and demanded that they look at it properly (I no longer trusted their medical advice or judgement) - when they eventually did - it was not ok. It was too late, I was left with a scar.

I stopped attending the clinic and sought legal advice.

Very long story short, the wound / scar would heal from infection and then reopen months apart as the infection was still present, each time leaving a new scar. I required an operation to remove the damaged and infected skin which thankfully stopped the recurring infection breakouts.

I now have a permanent scar that is bigger than the original tattoo was.

My experience was a couple of years ago and I’ve seen more recent complaints of poor aftercare and reports of the clinic not listening to the patients, so no lessons appear to have been learned.

Had the aftercare been acceptable, I believe the initial burn would have been treated, healed well, and I could have eventually continued with the laser removal.

It was not the case and I’m now worse off than when I started.

Avoid at all costs.

What a job Tracey Nicole and her team done with my teeth I had 4 front crowns fitted and they were amazing actually the whole experience from the start was amazing. Nicole was such a lovely person and went through everything with me and gave me different opinions of what I could have done. Then Tracey worked her magic pain free and I now have an amazing new smile. I thought that was it but they have been in touch making sure everything ok and even got me back in a couple of times checking there ok. In my whole life I’ve never been or heard of anybody been treated as good as this in a medical profession before unbelievable service and aftercare thank you

Tracey bell and her team are the most determined team to do whatever you want/need. My experience at tb was amazing from start to finish I was very looked after by everyone especially cami I felt so calm throughout everything. They are a hard working team & amazing at what they do. I love my teeth!! what a journey, I even learnt a lot about teeth and gums:) great place x

Writing reviews is not usually something that I do but I feel so strongly about the results of my tattoo removal treatment at the IOM clinic and the lack of support and aftercare that I feel compelled to warn others considering this or any other treatment.
I will try to keep it as brief as possible but as my treatment lasted for two and a half years and it is now over fifteen months since I CHOSE to stop these treatments it might not be possible to keep it that brief.
I started this treatment in September 2021 after a consultation with BC. It was not a detailed consultation, as claimed, I was not warned that I could be left with permanent white pigmentation or scarring. Who would choose to start a lengthy, expensive and painful treatment if permanent damage is the end result?
I was told I would need 10 maybe 12 treatments. I was not told that this was just a guideline as later claimed by TB. After about 14 treatments I expressed my disappointment that it was taking so long only to be told I was making good progress and it's at the correct stage.
By this point white pigmentation had started to appear and I expressed my concerns to BC on three occasions only to be told that it is normal and that it would go as my skin heals. Not maybe but definitely! After fifteen months of allowing my skin to "heal" it is not showing any signs of improvement. Why did he not listen to my concerns!!!
After my 18th treatment on the 10/02/24 I STOPPED treatments even though there were still parts of the tattoo remaining. BC was surprised by my decision still claiming the pigmentation was normal.
After I stopped treatments I had an email from TB suggesting that I let my skin heal for 3-4 months! This timescale kept increasing. Obviously, BC had not informed TB of MY decision to stop treatments.
Claims were made of support and monitoring my progress but, unless I contacted the clinic, no one checked on my progress. "Your satisfaction and well being are our priority" and "I look forward to reviewing your progress" but when I asked for a review with TB I was told it would cost £95. I was outraged that they wanted payment for a review on a treatment I'd been having for two and a half years to assess the damage done by the clinic!
I asked twice more only to be told the same thing but, after insisting, eventually I got a free consultation only to be told "you signed a consent form" (true I did based on verbal information) "you had a detailed consultation with BC" (not detailed) he seemed more concerned with getting me to sign up rather than giving me information on possible problems.
At this review I was, also, told by TB that there is no treatment to get rid of the white pigmentation and all she could suggest was camouflage make up. How's that for duty of care?
My consultation and all 18 treatments were on a one to one with BC so we are the only two people that know what was said and done. TB is getting her information second hand from BC as she was NEVER present, in fact, I did not see her until my review on the 10/02/2025, twelve months after I stopped treatments. Basically, it's just my word against BC's.
My last email from the practice manager said that TB's last email was final! Washing their hands of me in other words. I did receive one more email just repeating herself and saying that I could get a second opinion.
No support, no concern for my well being, no monitoring of my progress as claimed in emails. So, if it's not about client satisfaction, what is it about? I'll let you decide.
It is now fifteen months since I stopped treatments and there is no sign of any improvement. I do not understand how someone can do permanent damage to someone's skin and not have any conscience about it. It speaks volumes in my opinion.
I have heard all the excuses and denials from this clinic and no doubt there will be more of the same in response to this review.

I agree with another review on here that says "
"nice when taking your money not so nice when there's a problem".

That has definitely been my experience.

So, if you are considering any treatment
at this clinic then I hope I've helped with your decision. There are plenty of reputable clinics so I would respectfully suggest that you chose one of those.

Please note that as this treatment went on for so long plus "healing time" the date shown is when I received the last email from TB.

Went in as an emergency patient. Then was continued to be charged emergency dental rates. I paid £1300+ for one root canal. If you earn £100k + a year then this is the dentist for you!!!

If you don’t like being ripped off and looked down upon because you maybe don’t have enough money for the outrageous charges they are trying to push on you

Tracey Bell said to me I should go and find an NHS dentist knowing I was in pain and that finding an NHS dentist on the Isle of Man is incredibly difficult. I found this incredibly rude.

My son lives in the UK and has had problems with grinding his teeth which has resulted in them wearing away on one side which he was self conscious of. I arranged with James for him to look at his teeth as my son works full time James kindly agreed to do his dental work on a Friday although this is not his usual working day. So at 8 am my son started his consultation with James all treatment finished by lunchtime, including retainers made to reduce future problems. Teeth sorted with composite looked extremely natural. Could not fault the service provided it was excellent from start to finish. Aftercare provided. Well worth the extra expense of traveling from the UK. Highly recommended, many thanks for everything

This whole team are like my super hero’s , the most warm and loving welcome and nothing is ever to much , feel lucky and blessed to be in such a fantastic dentist , from Tracey to dr Nicole and juan your all wonderful human beings, service goes above and beyond and I can not thank you all for everything you do it’s so very much appreciated.

I needed a new mouth guard as grind my teeth at night..NHS dentist was goimg to charge £219 but did say private would be cheaper.. asked on local Facebook for what people generally pay and where from..Tracey replied straight away and sent me a private voice message..I had an appointment within two days to go had new impressions and guard was ready the next day..I was only asked to give a donation of any amount small or large to local animal charity which I happily did.. whilst getting the guard fitted Tracey immediately noticed issues with my teeth gums and reduction in my jaw bone that have all been missed by my regular dentist who I've been seeing regularly..she advised me what I needed and followed up same day with an email.. giving me confidence I can get my old smile back..the new guard fits perfectly and the contact and support I have had since has been amazing and I have a good idea of a treatment plan going forward..I have every confidence in any future treatment I may have...the whole team are lovely

You are one lucky person if you have her as your dentist. She is an amazing person who is very clue up on what she does.

I took my boy to Tracey today after a failed extraction by another dentist as he’s been in immense pain for 6 days now with little sleep for either is us!
Tracey was amazing with him! Lovely calming bedside manner with him and reassuring despite his ADHD
He says he never wants to go to the other dentist again now 🤣
