Terrible - never ever use DHL.
They had my parcel in the depot for over a week then told me it was delivered…it wasn’t.
I’m still waiting on an answer from them to find out where my parcel is.

They don't even know how many parcels…
They don't even know how many parcels they are delivering in a shipment. I bought some items from a company and some of them were delivered 2 days after I ordered. No idea where the rest of the items are and when trying to speak to DHL CS they don't know either, in fact, they just kept asking how many parcels I was expecting. I told them several times, I don't know how many parcels the sender split the shipment into, surely DHL should know this? Anyway over a week later and several auto emails from DHL saying they are delivering on 31st May (it is now 7th June) no one knows where the rest of my parcels are. Absolutely shocking service and CS were useless.
UPDATE, the remainder was supposed to be delivered today and no sign of it then they have updated their tracking to say delivery tomorrow now. Unbelievably shocking service and there is virtually NO customer service.
DHL just cannot deliver within the time slots
No delivery in first time slot and then missed the delivery slot supposedly for an urgent delivery for next day. Package was in total 18 hours late!!! When driver asked why he was late he advised ‘I am really busy’!!! Customer services take 45 mins to respond and then can offer no insight as when package will actually be delivered.

Dire service so far. On my first phone call to locate my parcel, the phone rep said over and over again that she couldn’t help me and refused to put me through to a manager due to data protection, ‘it’s the law’. There’s no law preventing a manager speaking to a customer who’s been let down! I was 100% polite and then this offensive individual kept repeating the words DPA foul and stating that she was going to end the call. Disgusting way to treat a customer. I have literally no idea where this parcel is now - needless to say I haven’t received a single email or text about it.

If I could have left no stars I would have. Waited in for a next day delivery parcel, was informed that I would receive it between 16.37 and 17.37. Well the next thing I know I received an email at 17.26 saying the driver had tried to deliver the parcel at 17.25. (That is pretty fast going even for outlook). Said that a photo was taken and a card left. The photo they displayed was of the cloth on his van seat and lo and behold, the tooth fairy must have stolen the card. We have 24 hour surveillence on our front door, so the tooth fairy must be hacking that as well. I then proceededed to ring DHL and after waiting in a queue for 40 mins, (par for the course these days) a rep answered, obviously working from home. so I asked her politely could she turn her mike down a bit as I could only hear myself talking. (mike too close to the pc) she got very belligerent and put the phone down.
So the front door is being monitored all the time and they still lie. Rant over, lesson learned. Never buy from a company that uses DHL. Thank you.

Ordered a fire place from amazon marketplace I live in Bodmin fireplace comes from Stafford 3 times they have failed to deliver.Dhl received the item 20 April now 9May having sent it back to Stafford once I have still not received my order, it appears they have now lost the fireplace, dhl are the new Hermes absolutely appalling service, their promises and tracking are worthless. Do not trust DHL with your delivery if you want it to arrive
Shockingly poor service
I ordered a large number of home gym items, which I recognise are heavy and bulky but cost nearly £1500
I was notified the order was ready for delivery, so changed delivery date to one when I knew I would be in.
I received a call from DHL on the morning of their original date and I advised I had logged on to their site and asked for a delivery later in the week.
I received a call from DHL on the morning of the rescheduled delivery and confirmed I was home all day to accept the parcel, I had no further notification and when I contacted them was advised they were out for delivery even though the app said they were at the depot, I was advised the driver had not scanned them. The items did not arrive by 8pm, so I called again and was advised the van had broken down.
I rearranged delivery for the following week (5 days later), only a part of the order was delivered with no explanation as to why they could not deliver all items they have in the depot. 4 of the parcels were damaged.
Today I received a message that the remaining parcels are delayed but no rationale and wait to see if they ever arrive

i returned to my home today to find a DHL Parcel van parked opposite my house. As i got out of my car the driver of the van registration BN67 FJX got out of his van and started urinating on the curb outside my house. I said to him what are you doing urinating ourside my house and he laughed at me, got in the van that i took a picture of as evidence and drove off.
When i rang to complain I was told that i couldnt complain unless i had a tracking number - OMG have you ever heard anything so ridiculous and then put the phone down on me. I cannot believe that they have such terrible employees and that they make it so hard to complain !! This is not the end for me - disgusting !!
Appalling Service
Received a text message to advise me of a delivery slot, driver did not turn up, tracking said my parcel was now back at the depot. Annoying as I had taken time off work to ensure I was in. Next day received another text advising of another delivery slot, yes you guessed it, driver did not turn up again. I rang customer services who rightly apologised giving me unconvincing platitudes at how sorry they were with a clear tone of insincerity and dismissiveness. I was put on hold allegedly while the operator contacted the local depot to arrange priority delivery the following day. She came back reporting she had spoken to "management" who would deal with the issue and confirmed delivery for the next day.
It is now 2 days later and I am still awaiting delivery.
This company is inept and disrespectful at best, at worst, they lie to customers to placate them and save face. If you have a choice in future avoid any dealings with this organisation.

If I could give zero I would! Absolutely appalling service, I placed an order on next day delivery which was dispatched as such by a trusted supplier. The delivery company assigned was DHL and the delivery window lapsed, at 2000hrs that day I messaged DHL via their app to ask where the parcel was, 30 minutes later the status had changed from 'out for delivery' to 'delivered at 1500hrs' and allegedly signed in my name! At this point I scanned security camera footage of my property which shows no delivery attempt had ever been made on the day. DHL have not only failed to deliver the package they have also blantently lied and attempted to cover it up by setting a false delivery status!!!
DEAL WITH THEM AT YOUR PERIL - USELESS
DHL are a million times worse than Hermes and that takes some doing. Parcel collected from Portsmouth on 8th April and cannot speak to anyone at this sh1tty delivery company as to when I will receive it. No response from them via twitter DM, Facebook messenger, Email or any other method. Looks like customer service has never been heard of at DHL.

Received an email to tell me my parcel had been delivered, which it hadn't. Checked the photograph and it was left at another address i had no idea where. Phoned customer service eventually spoke to someone, was promised a call back which never materialised, now because of them I've paid for something that somebody else has.

I want to give no star but I cannot. Delivery was booked and confirmed for 29/03/22. Before delivery slot time I got r mail saying it wasn’t going to take place, followed by another to say the driver could not access my property location. Rubbish… multiple family members at home all day, no one attempted delivery, no one left a card and property access not compromised. Both front property cameras caught no DHL delivery. Rang DHL but left in queue for ages so hung up. Then got e mail with re scheduled delivery today 30/03/22. I tracked it on the DHL site, we were delivery 128 until at around 17.30 all tracking stopped, then disappeared from the site. Sometime later I got e mail to say the delivery was hot going to happen, then another to say the driver could not access my property location. Again multiple members of family here all day, no delivery attempted by DHL, no card left, nothing on both front cameras. Later I received an e mail to say that delivery is re scheduled for tomorrow 31/03/22. Again I rang DHL and again left in a long queue unanswered. I have no confidence in the delivery. There is no customer service or help. Worse still, they tell lies. Shameful.
Mysteriously information on the HISTORY of my parcels journey has been altered on the DHL tracking site to make it look ‘better’ for them… but I took regular screenshots each day so it don’t fool me!

How is this company still gaining…
How is this company still gaining business when they are quite possibly one of the most useless companies I’ve ever encountered! Constantly losing items, giving delivery dates and not turning up, literally forgot my parcel at the depot yet scanned it as delivered and many many other things. Any business who uses these as their courier won’t be getting my business anymore. Needs to have a minus rating just for this company, it’s that bad!

Ordered and paid for next day delivery goods which were supposed to be delivered wednesday. DHL tracking came up with Thursday so I gave the benefit of the doubt. Tracking thursday(today) stated would be delivered by 5.15 but no parcel. Tracked again and it now states Friday. Cannot get past their automated system, they don't reply on twitter and website states email response would be in 3 days. Would never order again from anywhere that uses DHL.
DHL Parcels - know what you're in for!
When I had to send what I consider a large parcel - 5.5kg, 102 x 39 x 13cms - DHL was suggested to me. I searched for DHL UK and DHL Parcels came up. I had no knowledge of DHL Express.
They offered collect from my door and next day delivery, to Scotland, and the price was very good. I went ahead stating my email address and that that the parcel was to go to a workshop business address. The included insurance was pitiful at £25, being only £5 more than Royal Mail give for a letter? I could and did increase the insurance which was exponential and expensive. They said with this the driver would get a delivery signature. So does that mean without it they just drop it and go away?
Thereafter it got a bit pathetic. Throughout I never got a single email, not even to confirm the booking. They collected from me the next day around 11:30am. The day after they did attempt to deliver, at 7:15pm in the evening – to a business address? Of course, not being to a take-away shop or something, that failed. And, I only finally got the information I did by using the Track page on their website after trying all the numbers on the label I had to print and use, until one worked. I phoned but only got fully automated replies, no real people.
I’ve heard DHL Express works better and more like you’d expect from a delivery service, but is more expensive. Fair enough I suppose if DHL Parcels want to work to a price and not a standard, but in future I’ll be going with a known quantity like Parcelforce who, after considering what I paid for DHL insurance, are competitive.
AVOID
Such bad service I can hardly put it into polite words. Item collected by DHL parcel from store 25th February, since then it has been; sent to wrong address (with photo!)
Back to depot, on its way, driver not delivering sorry, in depot, in holding bay, out for delivery, in depot, will be delivered tomorrow, will be delivered 3rd March. It's now March 4th. I have spoken to many women at "customer services" all of whom are reassuring and lie through their teeth. The last call even said "nice man at depot MAY deliver your parcel on his way home, he's being very honest and will be going out of his way for you"! I never accused anyone of being dishonest so that annoyed me even further. Guess what? No parcel.
I am going to escalate this to the parent company Deutsche post.
Haven't dared look at my phone bill yet. And now need to seek refund from store.
Avoid this company at all cost.
