The RVR3 I have barely moves and has about a 15 minute run time before the battery dies. All this I could have dealt with but trying to get the 18' boat & trailer (weight of maybe 2500 pounds) over a... See more

The perfect solution
The perfect solution. My boat would have never made it into my garage without the 5X.

Awesome tool
I purchased the Trailer Valet XL to move a 17 foot travel trailer which has a dry weight of 3000 lbs. The Trailer Valet XL gives me the ability to move the trailer into a very small storage area in my backyard which is a level concrete surface. I use my truck to get the trailer just inside the RV gates, then the rest of the 80 foot distance is completed with the Trailer Valet XL while making a 90 degree turn. There would not be any other way to complete this task without the use of the Trailer Valet XL. Once I became familiar with the attachment of the Trailer Valet XL to the trailer, it made this a very easy task. This is a awesome tool which is very well made.

I really like it a lot.
I really like it a lot. The only thing that still isn’t perfect for me is it struggles to go up an angled driveway. I don’t have enough tongue weight to get proper traction so the tires will just spin and slip when it gets too steep. The maneuverability on a relatively flat surface is extremely handy.

Great product
Works as advertised. Great tool to get boat in and out of garage with tight tolerances. Valet will not push or pull well on loose gravel. Be careful on inclines as winch May start to wind forcibly until you release lever to engage brake.
Should be made in USA

We use this to transport portable lifts around job sites to do siding on existing homes. It does not leave a footprint like a vehicle would.

My Trailer Valet is a great help…
My Trailer Valet is a great help especially in the tight confines of my driveway. I've got to remember, after removing the crank, to put it where it will not get lost. It would be nice to be able to stand up straight when using my Trailer Valet.

Trailer Valet don't like bass boats especially with tandem wheel trailers
The company is accommodating however the "ease" of use for the device is extremely overstated. Advise to those with bass boats and looking to purchase, The device is NOT the answer to your dreams., It is simply an answer. It is difficult to crank from a bent over posture. The drill method is not as easy as the website shows so you end up hand crank and that ain't easy folks. Especially bent over, cranking while holding the break handle in the up-extended position. My new boat has tandem wheels on the trailer and the Trailer Valet don't like that one bit. So to wrap this up-it works but not even close to the ease of use the company professes, at least it doesn't for me and two different bass boats and trailer styles (2 wheel and tandem)

Very nice don’t like to have to bend over to operate ball want to come loose from trailer even after tightening with wrench had to us hammer to get very tight still wanted to loosen may need to add support rod for more stability but I like the concept but need to make more upright operation for smaller/weight units if you make one to fit my unit please send me information on please 👍

will not recommend
not an easy hook up, after an hour of trying and you have it hooked, it moves very slowly even with drill AND navigating turns is atrocious(terrible)

The trailer valet performed as…
The trailer valet performed as advertised, but it had trouble moving my small (21ft) travel trailer on my slightly sloping driveway.
Also the handle/brake lever needs a solid detent/locking feature when fully extended. On more than one occasion, while I was using a power drill to move/crank the trailer valet (move the trailer), the brake engaged and the drill spun and I thought I might have broken my wrist. Fairly painful.
Other than that it was fine....
