HORRIBLE SERVICE, NO URGERNCY
Slow service, didn't account for any of the brokerage accounts during a company wide 401k plan transition including actual account values and limitations from transitioning plan, the missing accounts had to be pointed out and reported by employees. Blackout period has now gone for 2 months AND COUNTING, still with no ETA. DO NOT SWITCH IF YOU ARE AN EMPLOYER. You would figure that a company that runs retirement plans would care about your money, especially when offering Brokerage Options, but guess not.

Transamerica customer support line is of no use. Either you cannot understand what they are saying or they use "we have a 15 day review period". Although, you were sending them a requested document and all it does is turn that 15 day timer back on when it originated two months ago. I have two policies, they paid on the indemnity policy relatively quickly, however my cancer policy, first occurrence and surgical benefit they are not paying. I had a complication after two days of discharge, my lung collapsed. I had to be readmitted which I have sent proof of and they will not pay that either. The best policy to purchase is from colonial which I was not able to do this is an employer plan. Beware

I was so glad she took her time. So I didn't get upset and frustrated, like I do when I have to make business calls. It was pleasurable to have a business conversation where all parties agreeded.

Tried to roll-over my IRA and close my account for 5 months. Continued to be denied for errors in paperwork - two times it was stated on calls that the error was on their end and that the employee "needed more training." I had to have documents notarized on three separate occasions. Still do not have my money.
