I purchased my items and was given a…

I purchased my items and was given a delivery date of a few days. After taking the order and my money I never recieved the goods till 8 days later. Made a complaint but got the usual story

Kit was ordered through website

Kit was ordered through website with no indication. It wasn’t in stock took 2 week to tell us. Then when it come into stock the currier held it awaiting confirmation of our address. The correct address was given on order. The kit was delivered in 2 separate delivery’s on different days, when fitting the kit it has 2 d rings missing and holes for posts not drilled in correct position, and wrong size bolts.

No further response from online chat

Took a few days to ship the product out. When I enquired via the online chat, I was told to wait a moment while they checked the status, but I had no reply. Then 30 mins later I received emails to say the item is ready for shipping. It seems the order was forgotten until I chased. But to get no further response was rude.

Don't believe the site

Website order system quoted free postage to my postcode, then I was charged £10.50 + VAT for it. Just to add insult to injury, they sent me a promo email less than an hour later boasting one of their features to be "Free delivery". However, despite charging me for "GB mainland – next working day" postage, some 5 days later, there was still no sign of it having been posted. I tried to query the situation but when I selected the sales dept, I got a long wait and then no reply. OTOH getting through to anyone else resulted in being told I needed to speak to the sales dept - but... after a long wait... they can't get through to them. After a couple of days trying, I did speak to someone in the Sales dept who knew nothing but said they'd try to find out and that someone would call me back. There was no call back but the next day, a dispatch notice was issued.
The person on the phone had said that there isn't free delivery but their website still, today, has a block displaying "FREE DELIVERY" prominently in the header.
The products arrived about a week after ordering, they were OK. The service is lame though and I wouldn't really trust them.
