Our holiday was fantastic because of the friends we had with us and all the people in our group. The sites we saw, the weather, the staff in the hotel and the food in the Granada hotel. But most of all Eric our tour guide, he was informative, friendly and most of all helpful, nothing would be too much trouble for him, a real gentleman.

I like to be looked after when I book a holiday, and the Travel Department does all that for me, someone to meet us , caters for all our needs. The guides are wonderful and informative and knowledgeable about the area, overall I can't complain.

A well organised trip, guides were excellent. Discovered loads of hidden gems that without a guide we wouldn't have known about. Lourdes is just breathtaking.

This trip was a great experience. Claudia our overall guide was very knowledgable about all of our trips along with the local guides on each trip. The hotel is right in the centre of Montecatini and all the staff very friendly and efficient. There was a good choice of food for breakfast and again for dinner. I went on 9/9/26 and it was the end of the local jazz festival with plenty of free concerts on Fri, Sat & Sunday evenings which were excellent. The train station is 5 minutes from the hotel to enjoy trips to Pisa or Florence on the days there are no organised trips. If you were thinking of going to Italy on holiday with the Travel Department l would definitely recommand this holiday.

Great guide, great hotels and interesting tours.

A very enjoyable holiday. East Canada was a great country to visit. Julian was a wonderful guide, informative, helpful, well organised and pleasant. Accommodation and transport all acceptable standard except one hotel, the Holiday Inn in Kingston(where I would not stay again). Would definitely recommend holiday.

Excellent booking service and patience with our queries about the new digital travel arrangements. Amazing hotel (best ever) and a wonderful part of the world to visit. All the tours were good with excellent guides - well informed, funny and delivered in a way that you wanted to come back. This visit will stay in our memories for a very long time

The travel department never fail to deliver. They’re easy to contact, the destination are well researched, tour guides are friendly and knowledgeable and accommodation is good. I would absolutely recommend them.

Margaret was such a good guide she made the trip come to life, especially at the Dali museum . She was also brilliant on all the train excursions .

Company helpful with any questions,holiday location ,guide,day trips and company were all excellent,hotel was good ,would have no hesitation in recommending travel dept

A wonderful holiday from start to finish, thank you Travel Department for looking after everything, even the minutest detail was catered for, even the rainy day didn’t dampen the experience.

Brilliant holiday in India! Our guide Anurag was really excellent, very knowledgeable and kind. It was clear that he loves his country and he imparted information on history, culture and practices- with humour. We learned so much. The trip was full-on with early mornings and some long days travelling but it was really worth it. If I could make a suggestion to make the holiday even better it would be to add a full day of relaxation at the end.

The holiday was so well organised the hotels were of a very high standard and the guides which we met at the different destinations were very professional. The value for money was exceptional. The accommodation and staff at the various venues was top class.Excursions were fantastic.I could not have packed in all that we did on this holiday if I had been travelling on my own.

Not only were the accommodation, tours and guides 1st class, there was a level of care shown in an unforseen accident situation which went beyond expectation: arranging hospital transport for family, pharmacy run etc. Super care. Recommended company.

We had a lovely holiday our only disappointment was our beautiful 4 star 🌟 hotel evening meals were very disappointing.

When I got in touch with the staff when booking and when I had a query it was great the way they interacted with me and helped me.

It's lovely to feel you are being listened to and then being helped without any sense of being rushed.
