We have been on several tours with Travel Editions. The office based staff are always helpful with bookings and queries. Guides and experts on the tours are knowledgeable and sociable. Accommodation and included dinners more than acceptable.

We enjoyed the historical tour so much. The teaching was excellent and the Guide was so knowledge and organised. Food was excellent with good service. Excellent staff service all round. The tour was well organised and so informative and enjoyable.

Both the tour manager and lecturer, who are both very knowledgeable, brought Anne Boleyn's story to life. The visits to Hever Castle and Penshurst Place were very interesting.

Flowers and Wildlife of Northern Greece: A super tour. Our Guides had so much information about the beautiful area we visited, as well as expert knowledge of the birds, flowers and other wildlife we saw. Lovely company too.

After several tours with Travel Editions, they are mine go-to company for art and history. Excellent organisation, professional and knowledgeable lecturers and exciting destinations.

Excellent tour managers; hotels are always small and friendly, dinners provided are delicious and tours are well planned.

Interesting and well organised tour. Of particular interest were the visits to Hever Castle and Penshurst Place. Good hotel close to Sevenoaks. Both the Tour Lecturer (Owen Emmerson) and Tour Manager (Nicola Tallis) were very personable and excellent in their respective roles. Definitely the best UK tour I've taken with Travel Editions.

A really enjoyable escorted tour to Albania and Corfu. Albania is a very interesting place and very scenic, with some beautiful lakes and mountains to admire. After a day in the capital Tirana, we fitted in visits to some really good archeological ruins, two castles and two of the most picturesque towns in the country . Both the Tour Manager and the local guide were excellent, which really contributed to the enjoyment of the tour. The time in Corfu was all too brief and the weather was awful, such a pity as it looked well worth exploring. There were a couple of minor hiccups along the way, and the hotels in Albania were OK rather than great, but overall a terrific trip.

Excellent chemistry between tour guide, botanist/ornithologist, and coach driver created a friendly atmosphere for all such that at the end of the holiday everybody was friendly with everybody else. Tour itinerary for Northern Greece, not on the main tourist calendar was just right.

An excellent trip as always from Travel Editions.

The accommodation was well appointed and comfortable, and the food at breakfast and dinner was plentiful and tasty ( although it would have been even better if there had been a choice at dinner).

The lecturers and guides were both first class, told us everything we needed to know and made sure we didn't miss anything.

The coach driver was equally good, and negociated the difficult traffic conditions in central London calmly and with apparent ease!

I always go with Travel Editions; I find they are particularly good for single travellers as I usually am, and all of their staff make sure that everyone has an excellent time. They are also good value for money. I would (and do) recommend them to anyone.

The countryside of N Greece and the excellent Tour Leader, Ornithologist and driver. Excellent holiday of birds butterflies flowers and wildlife. Another Eden.

We enjoyed an excellent trip to the Peloponnese. The itinerary worked very well and both Jane our Tour Manager and Jeremy, who accompanied us as an engaging and enthusiastic expert in the classics, were exceptional guides.

It is the third time we have chosen to go with Travel Editions on their Authentic Crete holiday. Why? We absolutely love it.
We stay in a delightful, family run hotel which overlooks the sea but backs onto the lanes of old Rethymnon. Every day we visit small villages (apart from the city of Chania) and participate in their Easter celebrations which is an uplifting experience. We are looked after by the wonderful Jane Freeman and her excellent driver, Nikos. We are taken to authentic
restaurants where few tourists are seen. I cannot praise this holiday enough. Would we go yet again? I am sure we will.

Very interesting itinerary and a wonderful experience of Western Algarve. Good hotels and lovely seafoods.

The packed four day itinerary made the tour of Bologna and Ravenna a truly immersive experience. The art expert accompanying the tour brought the mosaics of Ravenna and the art and architecture of Bologna to life with her lectures, handouts and detailed explanations of what we were seeing. The organisation of the tour was excellent, with a hotel that was very central and two excellent group dinners. A wonderful experience.

The walks were all scenic, with lots to see and admire with the help of a local expert but note the 'difficult' classification is accurate. The tour manager clearly has an intimate knowledge of the area as she was able to lead us to interesting places off the beaten track, and indicate affordable restaurants plus give suggestions for the free day. Good local food. Well organised.

Villas and Gardens of the Cote d'Azur, This was a lovely holiday to an area with which I was not familiar. As always with Travel Editions, there was plenty to do, but enough free time was included. The background and history of the area, including Queen Victoria travelling as the Countess of Balmoral, was given by an excellent lecturer who didn't talk for too long but entertained. Stunning scenery, blue sea and sky, nice temperature at this time of year, though not for sea swimming. Lots of visits to Gardens mostly funded if not designed by rich Brits in the 19th early 20th century. Most of the gardens were being/have been upgraded following the damage and lack of attention due to WW2. The hotel was comfortable with sea views if you paid extra. Breakfast was excellent, the service attentive, the bar food in the evening was suitable for a light meal, but there were plenty of cafes on the sea front, some a walk away, although there was rather a lot of pizza!

I travelled to the UK Sep 9 - Nov 20, 2024 for theatre and gallery visits. And .. to embark on 5 Travel Editions tours, ranging from Arts'n'Crafts & Art Nouveau in Cotwolds, Helsinki & Mallorca, thru Agatha Christie in Egypt and Harrogate! What a way to escape harsh Canadian weather and feed the mind and senses! I am a 'fan' of TE based on the travel experiences I've had with them since my 2016 retirement, and these were no exception. Only Harrogate was somewhat disappointing, as I was ill during the trip. But I cannot fault the expertise of their guides & lecturers, nor the attentive tour managers. Egypt requires special mention, as it was the first TE tour to the country and one can expect snags, but this was well-run in lovely hotels with exceptional quality and variety in local foods.

All travel arrangements were well managed and our driver in Rennes Brittany was excellent. Hotel was comfortable though it provided no bar nor light meals as you might expect
The first day - Eurostar, coach across Paris and high speed train and another coach was tiring. And then we had to go out and find dinner! Then came another long day to Carnac. For some this was a highlight- on the first day? This was followed by another arduous outing to Mont St Michel, a highlight for some on paper but in reality a scrum. By sheer good luck we all survived.
I could go on but it’s tedious
In brief: there was no attempt at orientation in Rennes.
no shared meal where the group might have come together, as a result there was no warmth or humour.
The itinerary ( which I never got nor the joining instructions) showed little thought
