It is a total scam! Two months ago I bought a flight from Paris to Seoul with a connection flight in China through China Southern Airlines. However less than 24 from the moment I bought the ticket I received terrible news within my family, a family member is terminally ill. So I wouldn’t be able to fly anymore. Take in mind the airline has a policy that if you issue for a refund within less than 24 hours after being bought they can refund your ticket. I applied for a refund and they refused to give me the refund. Now it’s 48 hours before my flight and I discover through a PCR-test that I have covid and I am not vaccinated against it. Yet once again they refuse to give me a refund. I am in no condition to travel right now and the airline policies clearly state that in case of illness of the passenger they’d refund the ticket. To make matters even worse I paid an extra refund fee when booking, yet they say they cannot give me a refund

There are a lot of negative reviews about travelfrom, but I had a very good experience with them. My flight was cancelled by the airline (local flight in Colombia). I had a telephone call with Travelfrom (at no extra costs) and they booked me another flight within a few minutes. I do note that the Travelfrom employee only spoke English.

I bought a ticket and I did a mistake while typing my first name, juste a letter ! to correct this letter they wanted me to pay them 240 euros !!! ATTENTION ! I did not wanted to change my name... that's not the same thing...
Now I cancelled because I can't take my flight with a "wrong name" I'm waiting to knouw how much of money they will take because of the annulation.
They are a gang of thieves...

Bought a ticket from Madrid to Miami for July 9th, which I didn't fly because of an extended delay. Asked the airline for a refund which they already did to Travelfrom and I have been waiting for the money from TravelFrom since July. This is a total scam - DO NOT buy anything from them. Save yourself time and money and buy directly from the airline.

Since I also have no reaction from three different emails, I am also writing a review here, seems to be the only way to get someone to react. I booked a flight for me and my partner from Amsterdam to Pensacola, stopover in Atlanta, and paid 199 euro per person for the baggage fees. Going there went smoothly, but when checking in for the flights back, Delta airlines said there is no record of payment for bags and I had to pay 95 dollars for each bag to get it home. My booking code is F01PU9T5. I have emailed three times to the info email, I have explained the situation and also provided the receipts for the 2 x 95 dollars I paid. I"m asking for the 199 back from travelfrom.nl but not one response. Perhaps via this channel some helpful response?
Edit 7 august, the company has responded appropriately to my request for refund and I have received the 199 euros I paid originally for baggage. Thank you.

Update: they said they will refund me 131euros when i payed 218euros for the tickets, and will not reply to my emails about where did the 87euros go ? Still the worst experience ever !!
booked the flight C1TXVLX0 from izmir to casablanca with layover in stuttgart they gave me a wrong number for the flight from stuttgart to casablanca , and when I contacted them to give me the correct number, they didn't unswer so affraid i won't be able to take the flight I asked to cancel, I cancelled the flight from izmir to stuttgart directly with airline, they sent the money to travel from but they refuse to give me any saying that they are waiting for a response from the airline when I know they are lying !! not to mention the flight from stuttgart to casablanca that pegasus couldn't cancel bacause of the wrong pnr number! please move your way not worth the money, this is the worst agency ever !!!

I AM STUCK IN AMSTERDAM BECAUSE OF THIS COMPANY!!! I needed a leg of my flight moved to get bumped. This company has been making this the most painful experience. I have been on hold longer than my flight would take. Customer care has NO CLUE or authority to help fix ANYTHING. THE PRICE ISN'T WORTH THE HEADACHE. After waiting an entire day at the airport to be told that my flight was still "In Process," I wasn't offered a hotel or anything. THIS BUSINESSES CUSTOMER CARE IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE.
All of the airlines had available seats. I asked both airlines and both had 10+ seats meaning a travel company should easily been able to fix this issue. I had to get two hotels and book another flight. I will be submitting this in order for Travelfrom.nl can refund my time and unexpected additional costs. I am losing days of time and no significant feedback or resolution. I am not sure if this company will make good on my return flight.

please absolutely do not book with these people. They're not a real company. All they do is book a ticket and seat on the website of the actual airline and then charge extra. They scammed me for 350€. I cancelled my flight with the airline, and the airline refunded the money to the bank account of travelfrom. They have since then (one year) refused to give me my money back, it's also impossible to get a hold of them and when you finally do, all of the service agents speak very poor english.
This is an actual scam company and i do not know how they are still operating. Please avoid at ALL costs.

Worst experience ever with this website. I booked a flight on 15 November 2022 and I also bought the insurance to cancel. I choose to cancel my booking on the same day because I found another flight. More than 7 months later I am still waiting for my refund which has been accepted by them. I’ve been calling them regularly but they always have the same answer: « they are waiting for the carrier to calculate the amount of the refund ». This flight has costed me more than 1000€ ! What’s the use of the insurance if I have to beg for my money ?!! My reservation number is HLU8W55J.

*UPDATE 2* I did pay the extra amount and received the ticket within minutes. Also, the canceled ticket was refunded within 48 hours. All in all I'm satisfied and happy with my ticket, but I still can't believe that the ticket price goes up AFTER you pay, and if you don't pay the extra amount, your ticket will be canceled. Plus, the extra money that I had to pay cannot be found on the ticket. Obviously the ticket price did not increase, but this travel company takes an extra fee for themselves.
*UPDATE* (And now it gets really weird) After the cancelation because the ticket price increased, I did look for another ticket and guess what: the canceled ticket was still available AND € 100 cheaper! Wow! Oh well, I booked this ticket again and paid... and the same thing is happening: 'we are awaiting for your payment, the ticket price has gone up, the booking had expired, there is a delay etc etc. So now I'm still without a ticket and I paid twice. Booked a ticket and paid online. After that I received an email saying the price went up, they wanted me to pay 128 euro extra. I didn't respond but waited for the ticket to be send. Then another email: there is a delay, but we will send your ticket as soon as possible. Then another email: your ticket has expired, you have to make a new booking. And today an email saying that the price has gone up again.
All together a really weird kinda business. I made a phone call today to get things sorted out. On the phone they told me again that I have to pay extra for my booking. I refused so they canceled my booking.
My advice: please skip this travel service

I am appalled by the service I received from Travelfrom. As someone who entrusts travel agencies to provide me with accurate and stress-free travel experiences, I was deeply disappointed by the unprofessionalism and lack of competence demonstrated by this agency.
I found an egregious error on my ticket where my name was duplicated, which raised obvious concerns about potential travel complications. Despite the rest of the information, including passport details, being correct, such an error is something I did not expect from a professional travel agency like Travelfrom.
When I brought this to their attention and requested a change, they denied responsibility by citing policies from American Airlines and British Airways. They stated that these airlines do not permit changes to be made. Imagine my surprise when I decided to independently contact both airlines, and they informed me that Travelfrom indeed has the authority to correct such an error.
I provided the agency with documented proof from both airlines, verifying their ability to rectify this. Despite this, Travelfrom failed to acknowledge their mistake or even make an effort to correct it, leaving me in a predicament through no fault of my own.
This situation reflects a complete disregard for customer satisfaction, a lack of internal communication, and a fundamental misunderstanding of the travel industry's workings. I'm deeply frustrated and angry at the unnecessary stress and inconvenience that this has caused me.
I would strongly advise potential customers to consider other travel agencies that have a genuine commitment to customer service and possess a better understanding of their responsibilities. I had hoped for a simple, smooth travel experience from Travelfrom, but instead, I was met with a level of incompetence and irresponsibility that is truly beyond comprehension.

I use Skyscanner to book my flight from Düsseldorf to Pittsburgh through Travelfrom.nl. This has been the worst experience ever from the customer service to the eligibility of the initial booking.
Two hours after paying for my ticket I received a booking cancellation.
The customer service agents each time I called said slights different things and were ill informed about the details and procedures related to refunding or transferring of funds to another booking. I have not received my refund and do not have a plane ticket for my trip in less than two weeks. What a nightmare experience!!

Actually, one star is too much for this travel agent. I was informed of a flight change which would leave me with only an hour transfer time, so I requested another flight. Didn’t receive a reply. Sent a reminder (3 times). Still no reply. So I’m beginning to wonder: does the company still exist or has it (deservedly) gone broke? I don’t know yet whether I will make my connection and what will happen if I don’t. Having read some of the reviews out there, I’m not counting on a refund.
Update 25 May 2023. Travelfrom claims that they have answered all my emails. This is a lie. They haven’t. If they had, I wouldn’t take the trouble to keep sending those reminders, would I?
Incidentally, I’m not taking any chances and have booked another (earlier) flight for the first leg of my trip.

Worst travel agent ever, we bought tickets in 2020 and we tried to cancel the booking due to COVID-19, we still haven’t received our money back despite several confirmations from them that we will receive a refund. I don’t recommend anyone booking a flight via this company.
