The price was nice and the trip wonderful just I did change aeroporto for the connection wasnt very comfortable.

I had previously criticised Travelgenio on these pages over the loss of my Air Berlin flight, then found an e-mail they had sent me warning of flight changes and telling me to contact them. I had been very stressed at the time, hadn't understood their message and had not contacted them, so the responsibility for the lost flight was mine. I did suggest some changes they might make to the wording of their messages, to make them clearer for stressed travellers, and they have since assured me that they will do everything possible to make sure such things do not happen again. They have been prompt, polite and exhaustive in their correspondence with me and have also said they are putting in an application for a refund for my missed flight. I am now satisfied that they are a bona fide company with an attentive customer care service.

Booking was easy, and worked well, but when my flight was cancelled getting a refund from the airline via Travelgenio has been difficult. They kept telling me they aren't responsible for getting the refund from the airline, while the airline tells me they cannot refund me as I used a booking agent. Eventually Travelgenio said they will process the request, but it has now been weeks and I have not heard anything from them about my refund for my cancelled flight.

I had a bad experience with Travelgenio. I had reserved a flight Malpensa to Gran Canaria with a not refundable ticket leaving on 3rd September 2016. On that very day I lost my mother and obviously I could not fly. I have contacted both Iberia and Travelgenio. Iberia told me that in these cases of parental death I had to be refunded, but through travelgenio and not through Iberia since the flight had been bought through travel genio. I have called and written many many times to Travelgenio - Spanish customer service- and they tell me every time they will refund as soon as possible. I have sent them all the documentation of family state and death certification. Travelgenio does only say they have forwarded everything to IBERIA, but does not inform me on the status of my issue. I can't do any follow up.

Hard to print flight confirmation, plus, for soem unknown reason, although i wrote and called, they kept sending me relevant information about my flight in Italan...

The whole process went very smoothly and the service was reliable. I didn't need to do any changes on my initial reservation though. As a non-italian speaker I would have appreciated communication in English instead of Italian, but that was not a major problem either with Google Translate :)

I had the opportunity to get a real discount over the price of the official company. Super. I got the acceptance of the proposal of purchase in a fairly acceptable time.
