Overpriced
Paid for a hotel reservation with their insurance and realized that the website had changed my trip dates when I refreshed the page. So I had to cancel that reservation and book another. Literally did this within minutes and they would not refund me for the first reservation.

Apparently there is a 15 day preview and I canceled the policy within that 15 day period, which was also prior to the start of the trip. I have yet to receive any documentation regarding the cancelation other than this request to review the policy. And I have not received a refund yet either.

I was fortunate to have found your website in my quest to purchase travel insurance for my United Airlines flight. I was actually very happy that I found it since buying directly from your website made a huge difference in the cost of the coverage. I saved $30 buying directly versus what I would have spent buying it through United Airlines app.

This is the second time I have used Travel Guard. The application process is easy, and the value is great.

DO NOT PURCHASE TRAVEL INSURANCE from Travel Guard. I purchased the insurance for my flight LONG BEFORE the Spirit Airlines Bankruptcy. I filled my claim, I hear nothing. I contact them more than a month later, they tell me over the phone my claim was denied. No formal letter, no formal email. They also refused to provide a reason for the denial. Betty was the adjuster.

I am not happy that everything i contact you with, is shared with my client.

I have always bought my travel insurance with Travel Guard and they always send me my policies in time for my trip.

The website is straightforward with coverages and prices. We use Travel Guard for all our travel insurance needs every time we take a trip.

well I'm biased; I'm a medical case manager (MCM) for the Houston Office. Been here PT x 13 years and LOVE Travelguard... and what we offer our clients who are ill/injured globally; I "see" behind the curtain as to the wonderful handholding the whole teams gives our clients and what our med team offers also. SO I would never get my travel insurance any other place. I'm a FT Assistant Professor of Nursing but love my involvement of helping clients/familes who are now having to deal with a unplanned illness/injury..

Website is super easy to navigate.

I found the site confusing, vague, when it came to family members being covered. For me, it would have been incredibly valuable that, when I clicked I wanted coverage, the site would have said "great, your immediate family is covered too" OR, when perusing the additional family coverage, some verbiage that, again, the immediate family is already covered, would have been helpful.

I booked a hotel in advance and purchased Travel Guard coverage in case something changed, knowing that I would be protected. However, when the location of the event where my family was meeting changed, Travel Guard rejected my claim, stating it was not a valid reason. The review of my claim took a couple of weeks, but ultimately, it was denied.

I will not be using their services for my travel plans in the future.

You can i.prove! I've had really Shakey travel plans, but I'm back at it and your insurance isn't old fashioned at all It can keep up just like my love to travel insists! I'll get you in court if I have to! Please laugh at this point.

My daughter had to cancel her flight because of a
legitimate medical emergency. We purchased travel insurance specifically to protect us in situations like this, but when we filed a claim, Travel Guard refused to reimburse the $500
flight cost. We booked through Expedia and submitted a doctor's note
documenting the medical emergency, yet the claim was still denied. This has been an
extremely frustrating and disappointing experience.
We paid for insurance expecting support when
an unexpected emergency occurred, but instead we were left with a
financial loss and no assistance. Based on our experience, we would not recommend Travel Guard.
