I booked a stay at Hilton Garden Inn and they tried to keep my money

I booked a stay at Hilton Garden Inn Arcadia/Pasadena Area through traveluro, I had confirmed my stay, and due to car problems called ahead to inform that I was gonna get there at about 5am the next day, and then the hotel informed me that my prepaid reservation got cancelled due to lack of funds, when I called traveluro they said they would get back to me, then I got an email stating that since I had not arrived on time that the hotel cancelled my nonrefundable reseration, and they would "try" to get a refund, I again confirmed with hotel the lack of funds and emailed them, and ended up paying the hotel again directly. After 2 days of not hearing from traveluro, I filed with my credit card, and my credit card fixed it :)
Wouldn't deal with traveluro if my life depended on it

Awful avoid

There systems don’t work properly and when i ended up paying twice to book they refused to refund me. Avoid them they are awful and don’t have any customer service mentality.

I had a nonrefundable hotel booked.

I had a nonrefundable hotel booked.
Needed to stay one night before my day tour.( weekend turnaround).
Unfortunatelly my tour got cancelled 3 months before departure- not enough people signed up, so i no longer needed my hotel room.
Explained customer service what happened and i got full refund!

I canceled my reservation before their…

I canceled my reservation before their deadline, about two hours to be exact. I received a confirmation email regarding my request so it had a time stamp. Received an email from a person by a single name, no contact info saying my request couldn't be honored because I was too late.

Called multiple times and talked to several people. They kept saying they'd "investigate" it. Spent a lot of time on phone, getting no where. Had to get my credit card company involved. I'd avoid this "company."

Total lack of customer service

Booked a hotel in Rio de Janeiro via traveluro. Hotel told me they can’t see bookings made via this platform on short notice and would not let me check-in despite me showing the booking and payment confirmation in person. Hence, I contacted the traveluro support 3 times and did not receive a single answer to my request to refund my payment since the booking was useless.

Strongly disappointed by traveluro.

Dominic, Phobe and Gary were fast in reacting to our request of amending our reservation and confirming it right away. We paid the discrepancy fee for change from infant to child and all was set swiftly . I appreciate that thank to them all.Hope we will have nice time in our vacation too

scammers

scammers, the hotel room was already booked and paid for in Augustos , and is being resold at the end of July, my booking is canceled and you are simply out of luck, out of luck in getting your money back and out of luck in finding a hotel room in the heart of Augustos again, these are scammers watch your money your time

Poor Service

had been forced into booking a pay later package . First deposit payment came out fine and then they claimed the full payment had failed (only a week before travelling) , even though it hadnt failed from my side. They gave me 2 days to pay through a link which was not working . I contacted them through the form online and they took 2 days to respond with another broken link. By the time they corrected it and I had payed ( and received a booking success email) somehow they let the hotel reservation go and lost it. Now I am left with no nearby hotels 1 week out. What a joke of a setup. Please stay away.

Horrible, don’t use Traveluro or Kayak

Booked two rooms on the day I wanted to check in, got to the hotel and was told only one room was booked, there was no other availability at the hotel. Spent 36 minutes on the phone to traveluro and got no where. Do not use traveluro or kayak book direct

I used the site to get a better price…

I used the site to get a better price for a hotel. When I contacted the hotel ahead of time, I was told there was no reservation. I contacted the website, informed them I had FOUR confirmation emails and they said they would fix it. But I had to dispute the charge on my credit card to make them take action. I received a text that my reservation was confirmed and paid for. I double checked with the hotel and the reservation was there. When I arrived at the hotel, the clerk said that the site had called about 5 minutes earlier and canceled my reservation. I called them, absolutely livid, and they said they would expediate the information and I would receive a call within 15-20 minutes. I'm in the hotel now and the call never came. I checked myself in. Luckily they had a room available. I hope this site gets shut down.

Scam rip off

Scam rip off. Run for your dear life. I don’t know how they do this and clearly get away with it. I booked two nights my card was charged in getting to the hotel I was told I do have a reservation but it was not paid for cause Traveluro card was declined and their payment didn’t go through. I had to make another payment right on the spot for something I already paid for. Run run people run avoid this don’t fall a victim it’s a a scam they are running

Moral of this story

Moral of this story. If it's too good to be true, don't book!! There are scammers everywhere, please use common sense and don't end up being a victim. Alert authorities.

Yet another Frauded Customer of Traveluro

I booked the reservation at the Marriott Marquis ATL for next weekend. I happened upon these reviews and was worried. I sent an email to Traveluro to ask about the reviews and my reservation. Someone called me and told me they just checked with the Marriott and my reservation was showing. This morning I called the hotel myself and of course the reservation is not showing.

I booked this on AMEX, so it will be cancelled today and Traveluro will not get their money, but damn.... It looks like this company preys on consumers over and over and over. What a crock!

WARNING

WARNING! This is scam. Booked hotels in Thailand, paid and received a booking confirmation. When we arrived at the hotel, the reservation was canceled. Absolutely no help from Traveluro's customer service. My advice: Stay away from this company!

I WILL NEVER USE THIS TRAVELURO agency

I WILL NEVER USE THIS TRAVELURO agency! I made reservations for June 20-24th.Unfortunately i got sick and tested positive for COVID. Because I didn't meet the free cancelation date, they will not honor my postponing request. I didn't want a refund, I just wanted to change my reservation for later in the month. Carmela insisted that since I was over the cancelation day, she could not honor my request. I didn't plan on getting Covid, she didn't budge. I told them I would gladly keep my reservation if they didn't mind me spreading the virus to innocent people. Obviously she didnt care.....they refuse to modify my reservation! But Carmela would not budge. Shame on them. This was out of my control. Please don't book with them or you'll lose your money.
