TERRIBLE

TERRIBLE! Avoid this company at any cost. Booked holiday with them and fully paid 3 months ago. They cancelled our reservation last minute now, saying there is no availability. Super inconvenient and disappointing as we booked all the travel and transfer around that already and left without any holiday booking with our holiday coming. Don’t use this company ever if you don’t want to destroy your holiday.

Traveluro’s mistake leaves me frustrated, $250 poorer

I reserved 2 rooms (one for us, one for friends) for one night at Holiday Inn Express. My receipt from Traveluro clearly showed 2 rooms booked and that’s what I paid for. I arrived to find only 1 room had been booked. HIE had no way of telling what went wrong. I had to pay HIE for the 2nd room (again) so our friends would have a room that night. I’ve now contacted Traveluro for a remedy 5 times via their web portal and received no response. Whenever I call their customer service phone, it connects, puts me on hold, and after about 10 minutes disconnects me. I expected to save about $100 by using Traveluro; instead I have ended up paying $250 extra with no apparent recourse.

Fraud

Booked a hotel for a certain date, received a confirmation for a different date, was told the booking is non-refundable and non-ammendable, even though the booking was incorrect. "We are sorry for the inconvenience". Filing a fraud claim through MC.

Good customer service eventually

I use Traveluro a lot. Recently booked a 7 night all inclusive in Turkey. Never an issue with a booking at the hotel. If you cancel the booking ( a refundable one) the payment is usually returned in a few days.
Customer service I did have an issue at first. Because of a previous booking not being confirmed I had 10% off. To use it I had to email them. I sent 4 emails and no reply. Telephone line kept cutting me off. Eventually they did reply and honoured it, shout out to Cindy who resolved this and called me to apologise.

Scammer

At the hotel check-in we found out that, Traveluro never actually booked the room that we booked through their website and received the confirmation for it. All we got from their support was lies. Lost £500 and got no excuses. They are scammer.

Traveluro is terrible

I booked a hotel through Traveluro for the night of 3-30-2024. My flight was delayed and Traveluro has denied my refund request on 3 different occasions. I am filing a written complaint against Traveluro, Priceline, Spitty and Hilton. This is ridiculous and pathetic for me to lose money because I couldn’t check into that hotel because of no fault of my own. Change your policies and become a better booking app. Customers should not have to go through all of this to get a refund. The Hilton has already issued a virtual refund so now your company needs to do its job and issue me a full refund to the debit card I paid with.

I booked a room on 3-30-2024 at the…

I booked a room on 3-30-2024 at the Doubletree hotel in Roswell, Georgia. My flight was delayed so I was unable to check into the room.
I have been trying to get a refund for nearly 2 months and have contacted Hilton, Traveluro, and Priceline. Each company tells me to contact the other and all act like they have no power or permission to administer a refund. Traveluro and Priceline don't even have a direct email address to contact them. It's been a horrible experience and there is no way to escalate my complaint or to get a refund.
Please do not use these sites to book a hotel. It's worth going directly through the hotel to protect your money and sanity.

NOT WORTH IT!

NOT WORTH IT!!

Got a better deal on my Nashville Hotel, however when I needed to cancel last minute they would not allow it even though the hotel had already pre-approved it! Which means that Traveluro cancelled the hotel and pocketed the entire amount of my booking!

Total scammers and are definitely NOT in the business of long-term clientele. They want to get as much money as they can as fast as they can because they will probably go under in the next couple years. Don't let them get away with any of your money. Even if you're saving a little bit now it could cost you way more later. Booking anything through this company is like a horrible game of Hotel Russian Roulette where you might end up homeless instead of dead..

Great resolution to an issue

I had booked 2 rooms for an upcoming stay. The hotel did not seem to get the reservation correctly and George was empathetic and worked to get to solution. Eventually, the hotel was able to confirm the 2nd room.

Thank you!

DO NOT BOOK TRAVELURO

DO NOT BOOK TRAVELURO. I AM STILL WAITING A WHOLE MONTH FOR MY REFUND. I BOOKED A HOTEL THROUGH THEM AND WHEN I GOT TO THE HOTEL THERE WERE ROACHES. THE HOTEL EASILY CANCELED MY BOOKING AND HAD NO PROBLEM GIVING ME BACK MY MONEY. THE PROBLEM IS SINCE I BOOKED THROUGH A 3RD PARTY THEY COULDN'T GIVE IT TO ME RIGHT THERE AND THEN I HAD TO WAIT FOR TRAVELURO. I'M CALLING TRAVELURO AND I GOT THROUGH 2 TIMES. NOW EVERY TIME I CALL THEY HANG UP ON ME.

Traveluro caused double payment - Traveluro’s credit card declined

TLDR Traveluro credit card declined so I was double charged for my hotel stay booked thru them. Clearly shady business at best, most likely a scam. I paid in full for hotel through Traveluro through kayak. I stayed at the hotel but had to check out a day early due to my father’s death. The hotel said they would try to help me get a refund due to shorter stay but unlikely because booked through third party. When I check my credit card statement after my dads funeral, I realized that not only did I not get a refund for the day that I prepaid but didn’t use, I was in fact, charged for the stay again by the hotel. After multiple days back and forth with hotel and never getting thru to Traveluro, I learned that the credit card Traveluro provided the hotel with my reservation was declined, so the hotel charged the card I gave at check in for incidentals for the whole cost of my stay! Traveluro is completely dragging their feet. It’s been a month since I booked with them and no refund. Amex is making me wait to submit a dispute. The whole thing is maddening. Do not use Traveluro. Book directly with hotel.

Absolutely abysmal customer service. Accidentally booked a trip without insurance and immediately contacted to get this cancelled and corrected while the transaction was still pending, got stonewalled multiple times before being told it was "escalated" and hearing nothing back. DO NOT USE
