They automatically change the date of one day when redirected realized right after booking and wanted to change it their policy is basically: once we got your money you don’t exist anymore don’t try to reach us (took of 48h to get a response basically telling me once it’s booked you are done) and don’t try the phone either it hangs up after 20s

Beware, do not use this site. I typically research sites before booking reservations, purchases, etc.and this time I did not do it and totally regret that. I received what appeared to be legit email with booking confirmation, plus they text me day before checkin that my reservation was all set but when I tried to check in, the hotel did not have a reservation on file. To top it off, the hotel did not have any rooms available. So five hours driving time just to be stranded and desperately looking for a place to stay. I tried to call the “VIP” number they sent in their text several times and each time was disconnected. Finally got through after waiting for 30+ minutes and they said they would issue a credit but that remains to be seen. As the saying goes, if too good to be true, it probably is.

Biggest scam ever! Booked a hotel 3 months in advance. They canceled on me the day of my trip! Said they were over-booked and needed to relocate me. Never happened. Left is hotel-less on Dallas!!!

Everyone contact the BBB about Traveluro. I booked a king bed room with them and they sold me a sold out room! Won’t refund me my money or even a partial refund. Their disgusting. Contact the BBB

Arlyn was so wonderful in taking action with my issue. She handled the situation so calmly and efficiently. She is an amazing customer service experience. Especially in the emergency I was in, she had great leadership skills! Please give Arlyn appreciation!! Thank you splittytravel.

I pre paid for a hotel and when I got there the reservation was not honored and had to pay again as had no where else to stay. I provided the invoice but have not been refunded my money. This company has essentially stolen money as I paid for a service that was not provided period.

Such a terrible platform. I made a booking for twin room. A very clear description on traveluro's confirmation. But when I checked in , the hotel told me no twin room available. The hotel said we got info from traveuluro for one twin or double room based on the avaliablity. Do not use traveluro!! It will ruin your vacation

Strongly advise that you do NOT use Traveluro. The top Google search associated with Traveluro is “is Traveluro a scam?” and the consensus seems to be: yeah, basically.

The thing is that they take your money in exchange for rooms that may not actually be available (but you won’t find that out until later!)

I made a booking through Traveluro for the Westin St Francis Hotel in San Francisco because they were offering the lowest rate. Received a confirmation email, receipt etc., thought I was good to go… then received an email saying my booking had been cancelled, which was a massive headache as I’d already sent the receipt to my company to be reimbursed, and ended up having to then forward them the cancellation email, book the same room through a different site (Booking.com, always reliable) at a different rate, then send them that email instead. Lead to a lot of confusion and annoyance for my entire company.

Would give zero stars if I could - ridiculous business model that, from other reviews, has left people losing money and sleeping in parking lots more often than not.

ABSOLUTE SCAM! DO NOT USE TRAVELURO!! My family booked a hotel for our upcoming trip to Seattle, and even paid for the cancellation insurance through the Traveluro site. However, when we tried to contact the hotel, they had no information regarding our reservation, and they told us that since our trip was only a few weeks away, they definitely should have had information for our reservation. From there, we began researching and tried to contact Traveluro. We started trying to contact them weeks ago, and were unable to make ANY CONTACT with anyone at Traveluro until today, after being on hold for an unbelievable amount of time. Prior to this, their “customer service” number would simply put you on hold for a long time, and then hang up on you suddenly. When we finally got someone on the phone, only a few weeks from our trip, this woman tells us she sees our reservation is fine, and there is nothing to worry about. So, I immediately called the hotel directly. They told me that, while I was actually on the phone with them, they could see Traveluro suddenly trying to book rooms while I was speaking with them. However, they were cancelling rooms and booking others, and doing strange things, and they ultimately ended up booking three of the WRONG room types. The woman at the hotel was shocked that a travel company was doing this right in front of her, in real time! BUSTED! Anyway, I have since contacted my credit card fraud department, and we chose to book directly through the hotel. This was almost a nightmare for us, and would have been if we had left it in Traveluro’s hands! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! DON’T SAY I DIDN’T WARN YOU!!!

I have had an ongoing problem with Traveluro (then Splitty) now Holisto(?). They keep telling me they never charged me $164. I sent a copy of the email from the card company showing that Traveluro charged me $164. I made 2 reservations and was charged 3 fees. I reached out MULTIPLE TIMES and they keep looking right at the charge and telling me they have NO RECORD of the charge. They have NO IDEA WHERE THEY APPLIED MY $164 FUNDS!! They refuse to refund me and the card company said I was outside the 30 days. WHY WOULD ANYONE TAKE THE RISK of their using your card whenever they feel like it and charging amounts not authorized.

They booked an incorrect date for my stay and then claimed it could not be changed or refunded.

Took an hour to get through to customer service just to be told this. Would never book with them again.

Edit: Already contacted and shared my order number and was told it was their policy to not change or refund bookings.
