We booked a one way transfer from Sofia to 7 Rila lakes chairlift by bus, on time, everything perfect

Disaster from start to finish. First, I did not realize I was taking a tour bus for local transport. My mistake. Second, I couldn't get a valid drop-off location; I was given several. I was finally dropped off at a hotel. My host had given up trying to find me from the instructions he had received from Traventuria. I ended up having to hail a taxi and find my way to my destination. I will not use this service again.

We did a day trip to roses valley and Koprivshtitsa. The trip was very nice, but the best thing was the guide:
María is full of joy for living and passionate about her job. She is a kind and patience person with a lot of life experience. Amazing guide for any kind of trip.

Highly recommend this tour operator for tours out of Sofia. Everything was well organized, on time and comfortable. They send you many emails and prepare you for your trip. I did the seven lakes and monastery tour.

Don't know why I used this service again a year later. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Organised a transfer to Sofia airport at 00:20. Annie talked us through the booking process in store and told us that service was still available to book. We booked it, got the email confirming it and text messages to say timings for the transfer.

Turned up at around 11:55, waited until 01:40 (1 hour 20 minutes) no transfer arrived. Text their WhatsApp, no answer, yet they advertise 24/7 support. So, the next transfer that was booked did arrive, with a full shuttle. The driver couldn't do anything, said there was no other drivers he could call and we couldn't fit on the 01:30 shuttle.

We have now paid 90lev, struggling to make our flight home and no accommodation in the middle of the night. We managed to get a Taxi costing €140.00 after lots of resistance from the local taxi drivers not wanting to do the trip, and just made it for the flight.

I have contacted Traventuria, had no response other than a message saying thanks for using the service. Which is just beyond a joke to send that.

It really is unacceptable to do that to somebody, particularly when it involves a flight. No excuses and so poor that there has been zero communication, explanation, refund or accountability from them.

Just don't use them whatever you do.

I have used Traventura in Borovets (Bulgaria) for a few years and they have always been good but this year - Ski equipment was average, service miserable and they ripped off our friends who paid for 2 weeks by mistake when they only wanted one, but were refused a refund for the second week. Also, before arriving we were told (without any consultation) by a 'no reply' message that our fitting appointment was 3pm on the Saturday and that if we wanted to change it then it would cost us £10pp. In fact we were still in the air at that time! We were also told to pick up and drop off the equipment at a different depot to the one that I had booked (and paid extra for). All pretty shambolic. There are many other good equipment suppliers in Borovets so I suggest that you give this lot a miss.

Booking was easy, the team very responsive, and the transfer was quick and comfortable.

I initially had a transit booking to the airport that turned out to not to be happen, but an employee of Traventuria helped me find one that suited me, saving me quite a lot of a headache!
The actual transit was good and the driver nice! I recommend it!

Always very prompt at answering any questions.. super fast delivery.. some of the ski's I've purchase have some battle damage as expected ex rental however bases and edges are always mint. The pair I've just received for my wife look brand new no battle damage and you could slice paper with the edges great place to purchased used ski's

Very unpleasant experience. They sell tickets with seat number but if you want to seat on your place it is not possible. Unpleasant foreigners refuse to move and the driver and company dont solve the problem. Also they sell tickets for seat where it is not possible to seat.

These guys run an excellent service. I have used them for years to go back and forward from Bansko to Sofia. The vehicle is new, clean and reliable. The driver is poilite, courteos and helpful. I highly recomend their service if you're looking for a reliable transfer or tour company. excellent,

I ordered new Head Great Joy skis with Look bindings from Traventuria Sports in Bulgaria and got them in Utah, United States in record time. They were in new condition as advertised. I ordered them on 11/8 and they were delivered 11/13. Awesome job guys, thank you!
