Ellen and Maria-Teodora are superstars!

Ellen and Maria-Teodora were amazing help for me while I was booking an experience this week. They were able to ensure I got the exact booking I wanted and also add a separate extra person purchase to my overall booking. It was such a smooth booking experience and I will definitely be using them again!

Excellent Service

Very effective and quick service from Maria-Teodora (even over the Festive Period). I wasn't able to find decent availability with the voucher I had been gifted, and Maria helped me exchange it for a similar experience with better availability.

Ellen was an excellent customer…

Ellen was an excellent customer service representative. I had the trouble of booking since the button of the online form did not working properly but Ellen made my date with her helpful and satisfying assistance. Her replies were very fast and her promises were always true. Thank you Ellen for everything.

First class

First class! We were given a Truly Experiences voucher as a gift. We identified a preferred date, and a second preference date and submitted online.
Within 48 hours we were given a confirmation from Ellen of Truly Experiences that our first choice was confirmed.

Do not book!!

Terrible!! Do not book!! They didn’t give us the right start time or venue which was just stressful!! There was nobody to call or email - unbelievably bad service!! Book directly with the wine academy instead!!

Chaos

Provided incorrect time and no location at all for a wine tasting. Spent an hour walking around Mayfair trying different hotels to try to find the correct one.

Uncontactable. Phone number didn't work and did not respond to emails sent during the day.

Terrible Experiences

Having used Truly a number of times since 2016, I'm so disappointed in the how bad both their Product & Customer Service has become.

In 2019 I purchased an experience for my Sister in Law's 40th, which suddenly was "no longer offered" and so the only option was a refund or to pay more to have a different experience. I've since purchased another experience which also now suddenly is "no longer available" and having emailed multiple times; I'm having no luck in contacting anyone at Customer Service for a response; even after the automated chat bot explained I should have an expedited reply after 24 hours.

I'm fully aware that the pandemic has negatively impacted the hospitality industry and accept that this was likely the case for the first negative experience for the purchase in 2019. However, having purchased an experience post pandemic and had the exact same response, I'm of the opinion Truly are using the Pandemic as an excuse to disguise poor management and customer service.

I would like to offer my deepest apologies for the trouble you had to experience with us.

Yes, Covid and this year's food price inflation have impacted the hospitality industry a lot. Sadly, a lot of our partners are affected and that's why we try to be as flexible as possible - with our gift cards you can book at any time.

Also, we're not working on weekends and of course, this does not excuse our delay. I apologise for taking so long to reply - my colleague and I wanted to discuss it and find the best option to help you. We have already reached out to you directly.

You may be aware that we formerly had agents answer customer calls. But because of Covid, we've had to reduce our teams and introduce automations, just like every business in hospitality in recent years. In regard to client experience and survivability, we had to make some difficult decisions. I am aware that this lowers the level of service you might have come to anticipate from us. Please be aware that we are working to restore our services to the standard that our clients have come to expect.

Assistance very very helpful

Had someone named Vanessa who helped me through the entire process .. very helpful in her answers , explanation on how to go about making my booking and prompt with her replies and follow up . A good service, so well done.

Fabulous New York weekend…

Truly organised a long New York weekend for us. We had won this as a charity auction prize and expected lacklustre execution... How wrong we were - they picked a great, well appointed and centrally located hotel (The Iroquois), organised a private tour of the Metropolitan Museum with a genuine professor of Art History and sent us off to a great New American 5 course dining experience at Gramercy Tavern. Our timing requests were promptly accommodated as well. Great experience indeed!

Ellen was great

Ellen was great. Very helpful and prompt with her communication.

My only gripe was that the voucher was ambiguous to the fact that the experiences had different price points.

We ended up having to 'top up' our voucher so that we could actually make use of it as none of the experiences available had the monetary value of the gift amount sold to our friends

Ellen is a star!

Ellen has been very helpful in making changes to an original voucher experience, her responses are always very fast and she delivers on her promises. I had never used Truely myself before receiving as a gift however I look forward to using them again soon. Thanks again Ellen for going the extra mile it is appreciated
