Well you know what

Well you know what, id sell my car to these guys again, and the one after that! What a load of sour ball locks there is on these reviews. I nearly didnt come but the offer was the best so i thought il deal with it for a few extra quid. They paid me EXACTLY what they offered because i had put my condition in correctly! If you try and say your car is showroom and its not the price will change. Felt i had to come a pop a review on because i was looked after from start to finish in every possible way imaginable and idiots trying to sell a **** in shiny paper leaving unfounded reviews! I LOVE YOU TRUSTED CAR BUYERS :)

Con Artists!

Very quick to offer a very competitive offer online beating all similar car buyers. The quote is followed up with a phone call asking if you want to sell. The issues come when you actually visit the dealer. The online quote is meant as a guide and the price will be adjusted after an inspection this is expected and I have no issues with this. When the face to face offer is over £1000 less than the original quote and the only faults with the car they find total £200 to fix you have to ask questions. Dealing with Paul who supposedly was in charge said it was an error in their system that they couldn’t do anything about. ‘Here’s your offer take it or leave it’ his attitude was appalling admitting the problem was there issue but notwilling to do anything about it. He seemed more interested in talking about Webuyanycar. Do yourself a favour and avoid these con artists. I’ve spoken to five year olds with more people skills!

Value online for my car was 2900

Value online for my car was 2900, at my appointment the dismissive attitude from the salesman was evident when i walked in. Due to having a rattle on one bottom arm and a couple of age related marks i was offered 1600, really poor and a waste of my day off work.

Shaun came out to view and test drive…

Shaun came out to view and test drive the vehicle
I expected a drop in online price which he was honest enough to advise
He gave me the price to which i said i was offered £400 more
He came back later in the day and to my surprise he offered me the asking price so a good day all round
Shaun came back fed all the details into his system and within 3 days the cash was in my bank
You always expect a drop in the online price but I ended up with more net than any other company had offered initially online
Pleasant transaction nice friendly honest guy and £400 more to boot
Thanks Shaun and your staff

Great experience with Trusted Car…

Great experience with Trusted Car Buyers - they went out of their way to give us a great service from the very start - everyone we dealt with over the phone and in person was friendly and professional inspiring confidence in their process of buying cars. Everything happened as they told us it would and in the time frame and we got a price for our car that we were very happy with. Would definitely come here first in future and highly recommend.

Price offered was 30% lower than online quote....

Given price online of £1,475. After 50 mins of inspecting the vehicle and taking it for a little test run, they offer £1,045! Car is in immaculate condition and he basically said as much, but argued that the quote we'd received online was 'overpriced' and they'd struggle to sell the 12 year old car because they 'shift a lot of newer ones nowadays'. They'd known the age and model of the car from the initial quote, so all of his arguments could have been built in to the online quote system. Seems they just want to get you in the door.
Its a shame as we sold a vehicle to them a few years ago and they were ok. Appear to have gone down hill.

click bait

click bait. Gives you a valuation online and then call you back telling you the IT data etc was wrong. Then offer a much lower price.

Pointless, time-wasting and shouldn't trade if their systems don't work

Complete waste of time

Complete waste of time. rubbish company, promised to buy my car for £13,356 and urged me to phone to make appointment. Tried and was given appointment at 1am !!!
They rang me the following day then started hmming about the price they had offered then said they would get a definite price (thought they had already given me one) within a couple of hours.......two days later still waiting so rings up to find out what was delaying the as going advertise online. Guess what they were waiting to get a price from underwriters !!!!!! strange I thought they had offered me £13,356 to buy. Bunch of Cowboys don't waste your time even contacting TRUSTEDCARBUYERS.......they should be called NOTTOBETRUSTEDCARBUYERS Looking at other reviews on here it seems to be common practice by them

waste of time

Offered £1000 less than originally stated online despite making them aware of all the service history and previous owners. I was told “the motorway” website calculations are wrong and they often get sent default values of 1 previous owner and a full mot. It seems all the info given to them online is irrelevant when you get there. Why don’t they fix this then? Could have saved me a wasted journey, I don’t care what they value my car at, but why give me a quote £1000 more online when they had exactly the same Info. Staff were pleasant though

Good Service from Trusted Car Buyers

We looked at a few different companies that offer to Buy your Car, but decided to try Trusted Car Buyers as the On-Line valuation seemed reasonable. We were asked to take the car to a fairly local Car Dealer who carried out an assessment of the car, and then handed us over to Paul at the Trusted Car Buyer office to discuss a price for the car on the telephone.
Paul was very good to deal with and we soon agreed a fair price for the car. He then handed me over to Darren, also by phone at the Trusted Car Buyer office, to organise the paper-work which was quite straight forward to complete. Both Paul and Darren were very good and professional to deal with, and the transaction was completed in just over an hour. All in all a satisfactory outcome.

I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking to sell their car for a decent price, quickly and hassle free.

I couldn't fault the service from TrustedCarBuyers, from dealing with Darren on the phone initially through to Shaun calling round to properly assess my car and providing a very fair final offer. The paperwork was generated for me to sign and I was sent confirmation through to me immediately to give me peace of mind, they sorted the final payment with the vehicle finance company efficiently, and the remainder was paid into my own account within a few days. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking to sell their car for a decent price, quickly and hassle free.
