Fantastic company

What a absolute refreshing pleasure to deal with a company like this.
Nothing is ever a problem for these guys and the customer service is second to none.
Why can’t so many other companies run there businesses like these guys.
I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this company to anybody.
If you want a uncomplicated faultless service then these are the people to go with.

Complete waste of money had 2 trackers…

Complete waste of money had 2 trackers fitted to my vans an had nothing but a Complete nightmare with them, done everything they said to get signal on them but they still drop out of signal for hours at a time, asked for a refund for my year that I paid for an said they'd can't do that, now my advice is to put the trackers back on the vans yes the ones that don't work so I get my moneys worth well not really the right answer is it if they don't work, on top of this having to chase them all.the time to get back to me, just wish I'd stuck to Quartix as yes they charge a little more a month but at least there's worked, just shows sometimes trying to cut costs cuts qualityUPDATE trutrak have now told me to use the item till the end of my contract but have now cancelled my contract without my permission so broken there contract so please be careful as there not very professional at all an also called me a dick in one of there comments so I will be taking legal action against them now avoid then an lay a little more go somewhere more professional

Thank you for taking time to leave a review, albeit one of very few negative ones. You purchased the devices in March this year and have been using them for 6 months now. I wanted to check on your allegation that we were non responsive and you “have to chase us”. Thankfully my staff have logged all of the interaction between you and TruTrak and I can indeed see that they have responded to you and they have done their job correctly. The reason you had some breaks in your live tracking is due to the fact you operate in areas with no phone signal, which you actually refer to in your support ticket yourself. So even Quartix would not operate where you do either as we use any available network. You wanted a full refund after using the units for 6 months and quite rightly my staff refused as we have done nothing wrong short of going and erecting a phone mast where you operate. I am really pleased to see the history of this case and see that the support given was timely and accurate. Quite a history of 1 star reviews too

Thank you for the update Clinton. To summarise the plethora of emails you have sent this morning, you cancelled the contract as the system “doesn’t work”. We therefore as you requested cancelled the 2 trackers. You now want to reinstate the tracking (interesting as to why you want to do that if it doesn’t work). As per our terms and conditions 13.3 there is a fee for reconnecting the devices. TruTrak is a professional organisation and has done everything you requested. The fee to reinstate the trackers is £25 per unit. When you topped them up 6 months ago for a year it applies the data to the SIM in your tracker. When you cancelled it you deactivated the SIM and lost the data you paid to apply. I would really appreciate you not re-connecting them as the staff here do not need to experience your communications any further.

I have a tracker in my Van which was…

I have a tracker in my Van which was stolen overnight. However because I didn't feel the need for the tracker, I didn't renew my subscription.
After the theft, I renewed it and I got in contact with the TruTrak client support team and with the help of Dan I've found the Van within a couple of hours.

Happy chap whilst vehicles tracked.

I have 4 vehicles with TruTrak devices fitted and just ordered a 5th one for the new vehicle.
It is true that GPS tracking is never going to bee 100% perfect all of the time due to line of sight constraints.
However, for the peace of mind in the ability to check the whereabouts of my vehicles, wherever I am in the world, is worth the little foible of GPS line of site issue.
fitting to all of my vehicles was an easy thing to do and the assistance setting up was a quick phone call.
if you take a little time in finding a suitable location for the devices, this could foil an opportunist thief in looking for a tracker.
I have no issues recommending this company and it's products, and have done over the last 4 years of using them.

Great Product... Brilliant Service!

We've got a number of TruTrak FMT100 trackers and I've dealt with TruTrak a lot recently to request updates and changes. The product is robust, easy to get set up and the pay-as-you-go model offers huge flexibility to control running costs. The support and customer service is just brilliant. Jo and the TruTrak Support team have approached every request with enthusiasm and moved heaven and earth to get to the bottom of things. Good Tech, Flexible, Helpful and Efficient... Glad we went with TruTrak.

Tru Trak Tracker

I tend to research products thoroughly and read a lot of reviews to inform my decision.

I wanted a tracker I could pay as you go, you can choose however long suits you from 1 month to a lifetime.

Tru Trak does that and so much more, the app is available across all platforms including Android and iPhone and it's user friendly, Tru Trak don't make apps for anyone else, this is their product, their devices, their service and their reputation.

It's easy to set up and if you need to you can speak to a real person.

If you need a Tracker buy this one.

Excellent Service

Well our old tracker was needing to be replaced the other big company are getting greedy, no discounts offered. Came across trutrak via motorhome magazine the unit and subscription was a lot cheaper, you have an app to monitor your motorhome if it moves you get alerts which you can share with the police the sales staff, customer care team and the engineer who fitted the device more than happy and would fully recommend anyone to try trutrak

Data protection concerns & disregard of consumer rights

After a review highlighting the questionable compliance with UK GDPR and Data Protection Act the firm despite my initial 1 month payment through PayPal acted subsequently in an unprofessional manner to block access to my account.

This firm it appears does not tolerate an iota of valid criticism or honour contractual consumer rights.
Overall they have highly questionable data protection compliance and have an unprofessional conduct towards customers who raise concerns.

Please bear in mind that if you leave a negative feedback this firm will also block your access to your account even if you have paid.

Best refrain from giving a critical feedback when you have solid grounds but before you do, for informing customers on this important platform, please disconnect the tracker.

Data which is identifiable, accessible & tracks us 24/7 after installation does not seem to be protected under UK GDPR & Data Protection Act.

Please read their Privacy Policy first before deciding whether the tracker affords protection of data in accordance with UK Laws.

Having received the following reply I request customers to judge for themselves how personal the reply is when our relationship is purely professional. Nothing is personal in a business transaction but this reply is evidence to the contrary for everyone to read.
My access to my account was blocked. That is evidence of accessing my data without due process. I leave it to customers to be the judge.
Please think twice before you have reason to leave a less than 5 star rating.
I repeat that the GPS fix was 150 metres off the mark but I'll not comment any further to avoid further backlash for pointing out errors which might have helped the firm to improve services instead of taking the feedback as something personal.
The last very unsubstantiated allegation is actually very personal. I hereby state that I have no affiliation with any of the said firm's competitors. I regret having come across such a firm. Every customer should read the reply and make up their mind whether the reply is a professional reply.
I also work hard as your colleagues, working as a serving doctor in the NHS which I have served for about 4 decades.

I note the amended reply leaving out the allegation of I trying to let your firm down by somehow being linked to your competitors.
Everything could have been avoided had you responded professionally instead of taking my review personally. Thank you.
I value the words of Sir Prof Liam Donaldson, former Chief Medical Officer NHS England (1998-2000) which most serving colleagues agree with:"To err is human; to cover up is unforgivable and to fail to learn is inexcusable". I tried not to not respond as reading the other feedback you regularly leave you clearly are a particular personality type that I’d far rather not engage with. 1. Firstly, you say we do not comply with the data protection act as we can sell your data. This is false, please read again point 2 of our policy stating we cannot without your permission, so if the Police want data in the event of a theft or incident we have to ask your permission before sharing it. For ease I include it here;

2. WHAT WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION. We want to be clear about what information we collect and how we use it to deliver our Services to you, improve your financial life, operate our business, and help make our Services useful, more intelligent, and work better for you. We do not sell or share your Personal Information with third parties for their own commercial uses without your consent.

2. Secondly, you say we are 500 yards off your location. If I look at street view on your account, I can see the same house number on the house its marked at, and indeed the same vehicle you have registered on your account. 3. Thirdly, you said you did not want to deal with my firm, and you had data security issues. So yes, for your piece of mind I barred your account, so you felt protected. 4. Lastly you stated when in a shopping centre the location showed outside of the parked area. This is simple to explain, GPS needs a line of site to pick up a location. Take it underground and we cannot report that location so again not in our hands as GPS technology is not quite what you see in the movies. We simply display the last location we know to be good.

It is very sad to read this one off review from someone that seems hell bent on bad reviewing many people online I have also seen your sad representation of our company on Amazon. All of my staff do there very best to treat every customer with the upmost respect and go the extra mile, even outside of office hours. For anyone reading this review I would urge you to read the rest of our customers experience and also read this gentleman’s other 1 star reviews. I can also see that the complainant was actually assisted when the offices were closed when setting up his account. I would like to thank all of my staff for their professionalism and friendly approach to all of our 10’s of thousands of clients and apologise to you all for suffering such poor feedback on such great work. Please pride yourself that an external professional body, What Car? Magazine awarding your hard work with the best tracking product of the year for 2022.

In summary, your perceived issues (as I have demonstrated) are false (point 1 and 2) or due to a misunderstanding on the limits of GPS technology (final point) all of my responses are based on fact. I wish you all the best with finding a new provider for your tracking.

Solid product and first class support

Solid product and first class support. I've been using Trutrak for the last 3 or 4 months. The tracker is easy to install and activate, and so far has been reliable. However, where the company really scores is the flexibility they can offer with a web API and the support is outstanding. Thank you guys.

Hi Trutrak I have to say what absolutely wonderful company I have a fleet of 20 vehicles and I needed help to set alerts on the App and spoke to a wonderful lady called jo she was so helpful and nothing was to much for her to sort out and never hurried me off the phone. Next day I had a little trouble with a couple of them but I spoke to Jay who again was amazing and talked me through it I wish I had of gone with Trutrak years ago they have save me thousands and I know that they are always happy to help if I need them.

Fantastic customer service from Jay

Fantastic customer service from Jay, I hire out my camper van to the public so knowing it’s whereabouts is a huge concern of mine. Jay responded to my query within minutes and resolved any issue/concern I had. I now feel reassured and confident tracking my beloved camper with TruTrak. Thanks again! Great product great service!

Great product & service. Thank you Jo.

Whist looking through ‘What Car’ magazine at my dealers I read an article on trackers and the TruTrak came up top. So I decided to purchase one and it came the next day; fitting was straight forward and the device was soon up and running. Some of the information on both the App and web site is a little confusing and whilst there are videos available an on-line manual would be really helpful.
Two days later I received a phone call from Jo just to check everything was okay (wow an actual phone call and not just a standard email). I asked a couple of questions which Jo quickly answered, told me everything was as it should be and even that she could see my car was parked. Also if I had any further queries just phone the number she had contacted me on.
Later in the day and getting close to their office closing time, I decided to email them with another couple of queries I had thought of, thinking they would probably answer me the next day. Literally four minutes later, Jo telephoned me, said she had set up the two alerts I had asked about and did I want her to activate them, which I gratefully accepted.
I know if your vehicle is stolen any thief finding the tracker could simply rip it out but for the price this is better than nothing and customer support is amazing. Many thanks.
