They are billing my card and when I tried to email them , there is a problem delivering my message.. it feel as if this is a scam site .. please stay away if you don’t want unnecessary billing on your card
Ps. They billed me $30 3 times today and I haven’t bought a product from their website since June 2025 and their product isn’t even worth it!!

DO NOT ORDER

Initially, they sent the wrong order. It was their error and they took weeks and multiple emails to rectify.
9 months later they have taken £23.00 out 2 days in a row (£46.00) for a "VIP Subscription" that I did not authorise or agree to at any time. I have had to contact my bank to raise a dispute.
Emails to the company returned undelivered!

Scam website, fraud warning

I dealt with them over sixth months ago and just now received a fraudulent transaction warning from my bank, they tried to charge me another $43 for something they snuck in the initial transaction in the first place. There is a subscription hidden in the purchase of their nets, it was labelled as a free add-on, selected by default, and totally bypassed my eyes and I’m sure many other’s. I did receive the product, most likely factory-made, cheap plastic as opposed to what they claim. However a month later I was met with a charge on my account that they refused to properly refund me. They also deleted my review on their own site. Now, many months later I’m met with another attempted charge. Do not under any circumstances purchase from them. Try to find real small businesses. Very poor purchase decision on my part (never buy from Instagram ads).

Unauthorised subscription charge 7 months after subscription cancelled

I bought African sponges in June 2025. They automatically subscribed me for a cost of £23 per month. I contacted the card company and received a refund on the 10th July 2025. Imagine my shock when I saw this same company taking another £23 from my account on the 10th February, exactly 7 months after I received notification by email that they had cancelled it. I tried to contact them by email but the mail delivery failed.

Avoid at all costs

I purchased 3 Scrub nets all fine, products fine. Didn’t even notice until two months later they had been deducting £23 from my bank account. I was advised I’d ticked subscription, which I didn’t as there was no box to tick for a service. I contacted the bank who managed to get my money back. To this day January 2026 they are trying each month to now take £38.18. Which the bank has put a block on. Avoid, do not get scammed,

SCAM SCAM STEALING MONEY!!

Awful!SCAM SCAM STEALING MONEY!!! Received my products, 2 net sponges, but at check out it automatically signed customers up for a subscription. I was unaware as there were no emails. I got nothing for this subscription... nothing!! Luckily I check my bank statements and saw they were taking £23 a month from me (again I was unaware).
Had a battle of emails to get a refund as this is bad practice and a total scam!!!
Currently no joy on any refunds but they offered a new African net sponge.
Stay away it's a huge SCAM

Auto subscription to take money

Have not received back scrub from Glonetic since ordering in July. Have emailed 3 times now. Excuse is that there is a problem with distibution. Then find I have been automatically subscribed. For what? They are now attempting to take more money from my account. I have contacted my bank and they are investigating. Something else to more complicate my life. Total scam. Avoid.

SCAM AVOID at all costs

Brought the products in June from “afroscrub”, took ages to arrive and isn’t all that… also came from china despite supposedly coming from “ethically sourced African nettinng”
Then the company takes you to another company name - try glownetic or similar. They sign you up for a subscription without telling you and then get recurring charges for a “vip membership”… this membership does not give you any products, they say it’s for discounts and early releases yet there are no discounts to be seen and no members access point anywhere on the websites.
Total scam. Then to try and cancel the membership takes you to a complete back and forth over email with an agent that doesnt actually read the emails and gives a really generic response and claims they can’t issue refunds. They then don’t actually cancel the membership either so has to be taken back and forth again and again.
Now need to get in touch with my bank and ask for chargebacks and report the company through shop as scam.

Shorted an item and was charged a subscription fee for nothing

I purchased a buy one get one free net sponge. I only received one net sponge not two. A month later, there is a charge on my credit card from them. I reached out and they said I signed up for a subscription but I have no recollecting of there being a fee - it looked it signing up for marketing emails. They agreed to cancel it moving forward, and offered a 30% discount on a future purchase. I said that didn't work and I wanted a full refund on the fee and they said no. I will be going to my credit card to dispute the charge which was $42 CAD.

SCAM!!!! DO NOT BUY!!!!

This company signs you up for their subscription service without your knowledge. SCAM. If you fail to read the fine print then you will miss where they have signed you up for their $29.99/month subscription. Then it is an act of congress to get it canceled. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Deceptive Business Practices

Initially, things went well. I received my merchandise in about a month. However, around that same time, I realized the purchase amount had been deducted a second time from my bank account without my knowledge.

This occurred again one month later, when it became clear I was on a subscription plan costing $29.99/month. I reached out to the company and was informed that I'd signed up for the subscription, which entitled me to "exclusive discounts and offers, early access to new product launches, and priority support and promotions." Essentially marketing emails, but no actual products. For $29.99/month! I have finally negotiated a 30% refund of the subscription price ($17.99 of $59.98 spent), which I am still waiting on August 12 to be deposited into my account. I was also offered a gift card, but declined as I have no interest in working with this company ever again.
