Great service, excellent tub - very friendly people to deal with

Great lockdown idea. Self isolation much more fun in a hot tub!

I've waited 14 months to write this review and here is why. I hired a hot tub from this company 8th July 2020 for 4-6 people for 31st July, I was told a time of arrival they were earlier I was not home but my neighbour and adult son took delivery and informed them of position on my decking.
I returned half hour later they had already left and left instructions, the tub will take a few hours to fill with water within a few hours I noticed the tub was deflated I contacted the company immediately and was told they maybe a puncture and they will come the next day after 12 obviously I hired for a full weekend especially to facilitate my younger son birthday I was not happy I also had the discussion on the size of the tub as I had concerns of the weight on my decking to be informed I was given a larger tub I would have been happy 1 if I had no problems with it more water more weight this tub had to be moved.
With advice from the person I spoke to the tub was moved to the grass and all parts then tied up to my fence and marquee to fill the tub prepared for inspection next day.
They came by 10am and told me there is a leak in the valve this cannot be fixed and left me with a hand held pump this was not acceptable but I thought I would probably have to use this a couple times I was so far wrong the hot tub deflated literally every half hour I didn't have time for this I contacted the company to get them to remove the tub from my premises as it served no purpose they said it cannot be collected till the Monday 2 days later.
Cutting this short it was not collected until the Tuesday I was severely inconvenienced and out of pocket I requested a full refund I was told until the tub reached the premises they will make a decision.
I was contacted via text an offer of 50% including my deposit this was not good enough I contacted my barclaycard and claimed a charge back with my evidence, I also told the company they then upped their offer to 60% I accepted because barclaycard recovered the rest fast forward couple months I got a court letter through my door besides numerous text telling me to return that 40%
On 1st October 2021 I attended court with this company and won I wasted half day work and 63 miles drive to fight this useless company that does not know about consumers rights or trading standards they are liars I was threatened and told they were within their rights and took legal advice because I agreed to 60% final settlement in text not a signed binding contract anyone who practice law would have told them this and saved us both our time but they lied and tried to use bullying tactics.
Stay far from this company or make sure you know your rights and the product in good working order take pictures and take notes

The experience of using the hot tub, the delivery and pickup were all great. The hot tub itself worked better than I expected - it kept the air in the inflatable well, the tub generally stayed very warm and the bubbles had more power than I thought they would. I would use the service again.
I have docked a star for the deposit refund policy which needed chasing before payment.
