Please see below explanations on your concerns:
1) I would like to inform you that you can enjoy your free "gift" because the dates are in MM/DD/YYYY format. As you can clearly see the expiration date is 12/11/2020 which is December 11, 2020 so enjoy.
2) Unfortunately, we cannot control the shipping companies and carriers, they sometimes don't do a good job while handling the packages. As you know, this is not our fault. Please provide us with photos (the broken silver necklace), we are here to provide a full refund.
I ordered 2 lamps and a cord
I ordered 2 lamps and a cord. They let me know right away that the cord was actually out of stock and refunded me immediately. When the lamps arrived, one was broken and they refunded me for that immediately as well. Neither lamp fits a regular bulb, which is what I had planned to use, but they will fit something smaller. They could have been more clear about that online, but their customer service is wonderful.
