The virtual appraisal tool on the…

The virtual appraisal tool on the website is misleading, after going through the process and waiting for two days I had received nothing. When I contacted Turners asking for the results they advised me a physical assessment needs to be carried out at a branch.

Amazing after sales service

I think the Turner's cars before and after sales service are amazing. I bought a car from Turner's Westgate from Jason. Amazing man with best sales skills. I faced an issue in car in Wellington, which was sorted by him.

Highly recommended.

Turners

Turners Cars is a dumping ground for substandard vehicles from lease and rental car companies. They get rid off all the accident damaged vehicles the rest don’t want. Cheaper, but you get what you pay for. They have a huge history with the dispute tribunal and make getting repairs on your vehicle so hard you just don’t bother. Filled with unhappy staff that all seem to be having issues with the company just like you will be. Avoid.

I rate Turners Auction 3 stars

I rate Turners Auction 3 stars, good in terms of website nav, purchasing and approachability until : After Purchase dealings very average. Turners will not stand behind their own Vehicle Condition Guide.
Attempts at resolving car issues with them around vehicles purchased through them from a vendor/ seller will be met with a wall.
Despite taking money from you for the purchase and offering you a Turners VCG they will flog off any issues found post purchase onto the seller or vendor, who of course don’t have to provide anything they’re just the seller and what do they know about cars? Turners know cars. What they need to do is stand by their own VCG and if they can’t, get the AA to do one for them, tag the cost onto the sale and make the report independently available to all buyers.
Or stand behind their own VCG, ensure its thorough and negotiate a resolution in the event it’s not accurate. It is after all a Turners VCG and not a sellers/vendors VCG.
Don’t be confused buyers. Turners don’t care about buyer interests despite taking your money for the purchase of your car and won’t take responsibility for a polished looking VCG, forget it, it shouldn’t even be there if they can stand behind it.
Until they resolve to take responsibility you best pay for an independent third party inspection.
