Waste of space

Waste of space. Ordered Monday, should have been here today. Emailed to check and told they were out of stock. last 3 times they have done it. Wont get another chance.

I ordered 12 kgs of sunflower hearts…

I ordered 12 kgs of sunflower hearts from Twootz 5 days ago. My order and payment was taken and I received an email confirming that my order would be delivered in 3 to 5 working days. 5 days ran out today so I contacted Twootz by email. Some time later I get a reply telling me they are out of stock and they have no idea when they will get more stock in. I was annoyed that it was down to me to chase up an order they couldnt meet and had no intention of advising me the order could not be fulfilled. I have emailed twice today. Left THREE messages on their so called live chat. No response. I have left two comments on their Facebook page and one by the Message system. I have been totally ignored' Quote" We pride ourselves on our customer service Unquote. I want my money back so I can buy elsewhere. If this is what their customer service is like they need to remove that statement off their website, I was a repeat customer. Not any more. I have gone to another supplier. I would not recommend anyone to use this company

Now unreliable and unresponsive...

I placed an order with this company for items which were listed as in stock -- then they sent me a message saying they could not get the peanuts and I would have to wait. After a week I asked them to cancel the order -- by email, phone message and on their online "chat" system which was not being supported.
So far I have had no response from them at all. I have used them in the past and they were good, and the prices are keen, but despite their claim that they 'pride themselves on their customer service' they are proving unrelaible and unresponsive.

A very disappointing experience!

The website still claiming long delivery delay due to 'overwhelming customer demand' and backlog caused by the bank holiday weekend, which was some time ago! Order placed almost two weeks ago and still waiting. No answer to numerous attempts to call Twootz. Yes, they can be a little cheaper than many suppliers but we won't be using them again due to their poor service. If demand is as heavy as they claim they need to resource accordingly or rest assured their problem will ease anyway as customers migrate to a more reliable provider.

its a shame to hear of problems people…

its a shame to hear of problems people have had. i've got NO connection to the company other than as a customer for over 3 years. i have made many many orders. never got one wrong. at one time the orders did arrive within a few days but i must admit the time from order to delivery has slowed down a bit... BUT it still arrives and quality is excellent. i would recommend without hesitation

All the same as the reviews below, 9 days later still no fat balls emailed them yesterday to be told out of stock, unable to tell you when their next delivery will be, asked if I could swop for another product, also out of stock.
I asked for my money back, no reply. Today no replies to any of my emails
Attempted to phone them today, answer phone said no one available, even live chat don't work.
However all products still available on their site
Sad because I have been a customer for years
Just emailed them and asked for a full refund and was refunded in full within minutes

Poor Service

For the second time I have been left waiting for peanuts only to be told, following an email enquiry, that my order is out of stock. I waited eight days then emailed, how long would I have waited had I not emailed? This is a poor show and I won't be using this service again. Incidentally, I have not been offered a refund either, so they hang onto your money even though they know they cannot fulfill your order.

Complete disgrace - avoid like the plague

I have two orders outstanding totalling £40, one of them from 26 June !!! ..... Its beyond ridiculous, and I rue the day I decided to give these crazies a try. Never again, utterly disastrous, appalling service. The annual migration will have started before I get my orders.
Its frustrating, annoying, and close to downright theft frankly. Steer clear of these nutters.

I would give 5 stars for the products

I would give 5 stars for the products. I have ordered a range of suet pellets, suet cakes, fat balls and utterly butterly.

BUT - the 1 star is for delivery, customer service and general communication.

My last 3 orders have been subject to delays lasting weeks, meaning I've had to buy elsewhere to make up the shortfall. Thus, losing out on any supposed savings I'd made by buying in bulk or on a promotion.

The website does not indicate items that are out of stock, simply that the deliveries are delayed slightly. I gave them the benefit of the doubt to begin with, but, having now been told, yet again, my items are out of stock (this time, after 3 weeks from ordering), Im losing confidence.

There is no genuine communication from customer services. Just a - sorry, its out of stock at present reply, and no indication as to when that position will change, despite direct questions as to likely delivery date.

It really is unacceptable from an online company and it has left me in an awkward position regarding my food stock. Ive had to pay for next day delivery from somewhere else, purely because of Twootz not being honest on their website or in their emails to me.

Until they get their act together, I can only advise they be avoided. A real shame. The birds loved their products.
Very disappointing all round

Still seeing same red flag warning about demand and bank holiday delays. No genuine update from them, then.
I recently ordered their suet blocks from Amazon. Only a few in stock. But at least i got them.

Im looking around for new supplier. It saddens me. But needs must

I have been a customer of Twootz for a number of years and purchase products from them regularly. The service had always been great and delivery was fast until a few months ago when i placed orders and had to email them after receiving an email from them telling me my order would be delayed as all the products i ordered were out of stock. This included suet pellets and fat feasts and their Utterly Butter Peanut which all the birds love.They are taking orders Knowing they do not have the products in stock which is ridiculous and are letting their customers and the birds down.
I am very disappointed at their poor extremely slow service now which is happening with Every order i place. I don,t mind waiting a few extra days but it is taking WEEKS now for orders just to be dispatched due to having no products in stock.They need to be honest with their customers by placing Not Available next to products which aren,t in stock however they are misleading customers by letting them think products are available at time of ordering when they aren,t. The company has grown really big but they do not have nor employ enough staff to cope with the increase in orders especially in Spring and Summer which is the busiest time for customers feeding birds. It is not the fault of the staff but poor disorganised management and the owners just don,t seem to care about either their customers, staff or the birds.
I have also started buying from a far superior company who provide an amazing next day delivery service which i don,t mind paying for nor do i mind paying more for bird foods and products from them. Come on Twootz show some loyalty to your customers before you end up losing them to a better rival. You used to be a great company so it can be done.

Now you see them, NO NO you dont

been using for several years now, mainly suet pellets and fat balls, the birds love them , but gradually delivery has become longer and longer.
Final straw 12 days after order ,no sign , contacted them to be told "out of stock" did not seemed bothered, so cancelled my order, and went to a rival (Hopewell), slightly more expensive, but delivery 2 days after placing my order.
Such a pity to see a decline in customer service like this.

It saddens me to give Twootz 2 stars…

It saddens me to give Twootz 2 stars but I have been let down once again by their poor delivery service. If I had to rate the quality of their bird food I would give it 5* but, for some reason, this company (who are most personable via e mail) seem unable to deliver the order on time.
However, the 'crazy' thing is that if one goes through Amazon to Twootz, the orders come really quickly. When I asked why, I was told that it was because, as soon as certain bird foods become unavailable, they remove them from their site!!!!!!

WHY CAN'T TWOOTZ DO THIS ON THEIR OWN SITE or, at least have the courtesy to let one know that delivery will not be 3-5 days as promised on the invoice?

I am sorry to leave Twootz as there are so many positives but I cannot cope with the unreliability.

Service is poor

My first order with this company was last week and still had not received my order. It seems that the item was out of stock but Twootz did not feel the need to inform me of this fact.
On the plus side they did issue a refund very quickly hence the extra star.

Ordered suet pellets last Sunday no sign of despatch or delivery wont use ever again and I ad use no one else bothers with them either have diverted their landline to a mobile conveniently no one is answering totally unacceptable behaviour no way to run a business it's now my fledglings have to wait longer for their food shouldn,t take orders if you can't cope with them you need shutting down and once I contact trading standards I'm sure they will have something to say about it

on first viewing Twootz looked a good…

on first viewing Twootz looked a good website to buy wild bird food.
Having purchased wild bird food from this company , I can report the following . at first ,one would think this is a company that supplies quality bird food. Sadly this is not the case. The birds in my garden prefer the cheaper food from budget shops. They actually refused to eat some of it. What a waste of money.
I will not being buying from this company again.

Tried to add a "courier" charge of £6.99 to my order in spite of saying "Free UK MAINLAND DELIVERY"!!! I live in UK mainland but hey came away with the usual get out of "Our couriers says you live in Scottish Highlands",, Well excuse me but when did Scottish highlands move away from mainland UK? Have we had a secret brexit and no one told me? No, stay away from companies like this, vote with your feet and force them to rethink this blatant discrimination... I got my item from another company cheaper and with genuine free delivery....

The bird food may be cheaper than some other companies and is usually O.K. quality. However, the fact that delivery is usually late means that I have to go elsewhere to buy nuts to see me through until Twootz deliver, thus saving nothing. Usually the same feeble excuse given each time(too many customers for them to handle). Just change the estimated delivery time to longer and no-one will be disappointed.
