Absolutely disgusting!! DO NOT USE called up to get a price yesterday, didn’t price match as they said they could. But that didn’t bother me as they could get them for today, was cost me £96 more so agreed higher amount. Booked time of work today, was called today an hour before appointment with a higher price, an increase of £160 No explanation, very rude, unprofessional, manager wouldn’t even speak to me.even had to listen to the guy on the phone take a personal mobile phone call when I was speaking, was about 30 seconds before I realised I was talking to myself. Really upsetting, don’t deserve to be trading. Cost me time and money off work and they just don’t care Walton on Thames shop

AGAIN :) GUS & NEIL & OWEN@TYRE CITY DUMFRIES IS NOT ONLY PROFESSIONALLY-EXCELLENT WITH THEIR SERVICES BUT ALSO POSTIVELY EXCEPTIONALLY TOP NOTCH TYRE SERVICE BLOKES, THIS TIME ROUND ALL MY 4 TYRES & A SPARE WHEEL IS ACCURATE TO THE CORE, TYRE QUOTES ARE SPOT ON FOR THE POCKET (EXTRA CAR SERVICE WAS MUCH MORE APPRECIATED TODAY) AND IN MY HUMBLE OPINION THE BEST TYRE CITY & MOT GARAGE IN THE WHOLE OF THE UK, BELIEVE IT OR NOT, I WAS ACTUALLY LOOKING IF I COULD GIVE THEM 6 OUT OF 5 AGAIN, DONT TAKE MY WORD FOR IT YOU TRY THEM AND THE REST IS HISTORY ;)

I overpaid for a set of tyres once, I overpaid for rim leak repair today. The very last time I'm using them.

Tyre City, Forfar are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble and the managers go way above and beyond what they need to do. Whenever I do not go to them, I regret it afterwards.

Used Chessington Tyres for many years when living in Guildford area. Moved near to Alton and just discovered that TyreCity have taken Chessington over. Had 4 tyres fitted this month, May 21, . Was pleased to obtain the same excellent service. The manager Andrew was very professional and pleasant to deal with as were the rest of the staff and the tyres were the cheapest available in the area.

Nigel was very helpful and explained everything. Even got 2 tyres, not in stock, transferred from another depot.

Took my car in to Millburn rd Inverness to have 2 slow leaking rims repaired, did a good enough job but was very, very expensive, thought they might be better after Budget moved out unfortunately not
Won't be back, at least Dick Turpin wore mask !!!

On the 5th of May i left my car for a simple wheel aligment and has a result the technician that was doing the job broke a aligment bolt and left the car undrivable.
The manager spoke to me and said that its NOT there responsability if parts are broken by the techs, i was compreensive and said that i would suply the part in the condition that they would replace it and leave the car in the same working conditions has it was left in the workshop.
Parts were supplied and paid by me and left on the next day in the shop where they promised that the car would be ready on the next day.
2 days have passed and i have no news from it so i decided to go and check, the car was still on the same place and the parts i supplied still where i left them.
The technician i spoke to was very rude and keep on saying that its not there responsability to solve the problem but they could not let the car leave.

I am now still waiting for there decision if they will fix what they broke or if they can't do it at all so that i can send the car to a diferent workshop that can solve the issue that they caused.

They still want to charge me for the mistake they caused wich i find it unfair.

Booked to have 4 new tyres on my car. Also booked a wheel alignment check that was free. Arrived and dropped the key in reception and the guy asked if I was having the wheel alignment and did I want any adjustments made? Only when asked did he tell me it was £75. When I came to collect their website says you get a printed wheel alignment report but the staff member said you only get that after adjustments? After checking when home I noticed the valves hadn't been renewed although they are TPMS. On the way home the on-board sensors were showing the pressures were all over the place even on the same axle. Rang to complain and a regional manager in Durham rang me back but wouldn't accept the branch had done anything wrong and offered a free wheel alignment check with them but I explained I don't trust them working on my vehicle. Would never use again and the support aftercare is poor as well.

Appalling service. Propose an appointment time and on arrival tell you to come back another time or day without any excuse . Unprofessional.

I have been going to Tyre City, for many years, back when they were Budget Tyres. We have three cars to keep on the road, so it is good to have a a reliable and friendly place to go, when something needs to be done.
And they do more than just tyres and exhausts. They carry out our MOTs, and we'll also be going there for car servicing.
I just hope that this review doesn't encourage them to be bigheaded, or too busy, to look after my family. :0)
P.S. Their coffee is atrocious; avoid at all costs. :0P

Pissed off I will never deal with the mount vernon or trye city again! 2 pairs sunglasses blue and green effect disappeared after me buying a £100 pound tyre am fuming its like they robbed me twice with the price and my items! AVOID! Whoever worked on my car should be investigated!

Very good experience with the guys over at the Fareham Branch.
Nail through my rear offside tyre on my BMW 1 Series, the guys fitted a replacement for £54, Air Con Recharged for £45.99. Can't fault.

Awesome service from the guys at Christchurch branch. Fantastic price, and they sorted out my wheel alignment. Mike is excellent on the desk and very customer focused. Shame they have done away with the drinks machine. Coffee is essential as part of the new tyre experience! Come on Tyrecity put a coffee machine back in this branch!
