Bad experience in Sharaf DG Sharjah City centre branch. Purchased oppo reno 13 on 17 may, same night while setting up the screen went off. Next day returned the phone. 1 person says next day it will be replaced. After visiting for 2 continous days no answer.

This was by far one of the most disappointing experiences I have had in years.
The service was substandard, marked by a lack of care, professionalism, and basic respect. The overall attitude was unwelcoming and unnecessarily harsh, in addition of overpriced, low quality, though customer services, and careless for the complaints.

By far the worst experience in my purchase history in UAE. Purchased the flagship model by Samsung thru a trade in option however its been over 65 days yet no sign of refund in sight more over no response on emails by the DG team.
I would humbly request a callback from the superiors and escalate this issue at the highest level. Such an experience in todays market is a serious threat to the company’s reputation.
There have been numerous emails with no positive outcome this is by far the worst mistake purchasing from Sharaf Dg. If reviews are being heard and taken seriously appreciate if this is can be resolved immediately

Sharaf DG—especially the Deira City Center branch—has been a disappointing place for electronics shopping. While I initially thought I’d find good deals and reliable products, my experience has proved otherwise.
Firstly, product quality is a major issue. I’ve purchased multiple headphones from this store, and every single one broke almost immediately. When I sent them in for repairs, it took over two weeks, only for them to tell me they weren’t fixable. Instead of receiving a full refund, I was compensated in store points—points that weren’t even enough to buy a replacement!
Beyond the quality concerns, the store’s pricing is unreasonable. Many branded electronics are significantly more expensive than what you’d find online. In fact, I’ve regularly spotted the same items at half the price on Amazon or other marketplaces. This makes Sharaf DG an extremely poor choice for value-conscious customers.
Additionally, the aggressive sales tactics are unacceptable. Certain employees prioritize forcing a sale over genuinely helping customers. For example, I was pressured into buying an Honor phone despite wanting a Motorola. The salesperson misrepresented the Honor’s specs while deliberately steering me away from my original choice. It felt less like an informed purchase and more like manipulation.
While there are some helpful employees, the store’s overarching approach prioritizes profit over integrity. If management truly cares about its reputation, serious changes need to be made—starting with honesty, quality control, and fair pricing.
Would I recommend shopping here? Absolutely not.

If you are thinking of purchasing any product from Sharaf DG Bahrain STOP!
They will give you the wrong advice and information just to make a sale. And when you try to return it, they will tell you if the product was opened in anyway from their delivery people or from you then they will not return it.
If you manage to convince them to return the product (good luck to you) then they will tell you that they will charge you depreciation cost, another word they will not return your full money! They will also refer you to their terms in conditions in very small print kept at their customer service office, as if customers will go inside the office to read the small prints before any purchase!
Don't even think about talking to their customer service manager, he is a very rude person and not interested in solving your problem or help you sort out the problem.
Sharaf DG sources their products directly from local dealers / agents, go direct the local dealers / agents. This way you receive much better customer service and most likely better prices!

Avoid buying online from Sharaf DG at all costs!
Order number W5037189-A — I ordered routers with same-day delivery, and after waiting over two days, nothing showed up. All I got from customer service was a useless “sorry” with zero explanation. Now I’m left without internet and have to wait a full week just to get my money back. Absolutely unacceptable. Stay far away from Sharaf’s online shopping — it’s a complete disaster.

Very Disappointed with Sharaf DG – Poor Service and Delayed Resolution
I recently purchased a laptop from Sharaf DG, but unfortunately received the wrong item. While mistakes can happen, what’s unacceptable is the lack of proper customer service and the long delay in resolving the issue. I was told it would take 16–17 business days to exchange the laptop – that’s nearly a month!
I rely on this laptop for work, and this delay has caused major disruption. The customer service team has been unhelpful and offered no real solutions to expedite the process or support me during this period. There’s a clear lack of accountability and urgency.
Very disappointed with the experience. I expected much better from a major electronics retailer. I won’t be shopping here again and I hope others think twice before doing so.

Very disappointing customer experience
Placed an order for a new dishwasher with stated delivery date of 1st of May.
After placing the order delivery date gets updated to 2nd to 4th May.
Phone customer service to confirm the date after 2 days of waiting for a firm delivery date.
No-one can help or connect with the courier.
Asked to be transferred to supervisor and told not possible.
I am close to cancelling the order as this is about the worse delivery experience I have had in the UAE.

I bought a brand-new washing machine, and just one month later, the dryer stopped working. Even though it was new, I had to get it repaired under warranty. Then it happened again. And again. Almost every other month.
When I asked for a replacement, I got the usual response:
"Company policy — we don’t exchange used machines."
But the truth is: they sold me a defective product, and now that the warranty has expired, I’m expected to pay for repairs out of pocket.

The customer service response was very confusing and lane first, they tried to shrug of their responsibility by saying there was a printing error on the box (why the difference in the product). Then they claim that both the configuration of the printers are similar(why the difference of AED 194 between them). Later they closed the complaint without further explanation. May be they ran out of excuses to cover their manipulation.
I think they manage to prove the supplier is always right and the customer is at their mercy.

Prior to purchasing an LG washing machine I called the customer service to enquire about few things namely trade in and product demonstration. I was told by Ms Joty that the trade in is applicable and was given a value for it plus a technician would come along at the time of installation to do the demonstration. I did the purchase and found out later that the trade in couldn’t be completed online and the technician that came along had no clue about LG as he was a Samsung technician. Meanwhile they took my 4 years old washing machine and I am still waiting despite my numerous phone calls to get an answer on both these issues . The most incapable customer service department that doesn’t fit Dubai at all and I regret having bought from Sharafdg .

Never pay for delivery when buying from here. They delivered only half my items and the rest are delayed and never gives a correct answer of a delivery time, expecting us to wait at home without going to work from 10am till 8pm. They are very enthusiastic to get the order but after sales services are horrible.

This is a zero star review. They are very active to sell stuff in the shop. Delivers half of what is already paid, and for 2 weeks not able or willing to respond on when the goods are to be delivered. I have never seen such arrogant behavior, I will end up having a lawyer engaged to get money back from missing delivereries. Totally unbelievable, should have read reviews first. Embarrasing !!!
UPDATED AFTER SHARAF RESPONSE : Great reponse you just had - I have sent this to the support mail and chat 7 TIMES ! Sharaf has ignored my requests for weeks, despite paying 17,000 AED upfront for goods I have not recieved and noone cares to tell me when/if I will recieve.

Sharaf DG is so unprofessional! I placed my order on 6 April 2025 for a Brother scan n cut machine. It was advertised as available and delivery on 8-9 April 2025. Today, 15 April 2025, my order was cancelled without my permission! I was asked to wait for two weeks for delivery. But to my surprise, after 9 days of waiting, it gets cancelled. No one even bother to call or ask. Just cancelled! Beware buyers. Some items advertised in Sharaf DG’s online site are not even true. False advertisement, poor customer service, unacceptable business dealings.

I was told my item would be available for collection at 4pm the day after my purchase. When I arrived to collect I was told I was given incorrect information and the collection time was 6pm.
If the customer service rep has been apologetic, I would have been fine but she was not, not once saying sorry, and pretty much shrugged her shoulders of the whole thing. This was in Sharaf DG in Dubai Hills Mall.

The worst.I ordered on 23 march and since then i kept on following up and they kept telling me that they are checking the delivery. Today 3rd April,i received a call saying that my order is not available. After 12 days back and forth emails and calls, they are telling me that my order is out of stock.
