Ridiculous licence verification process
After being denied for no reason, Ubeeqo customer support sends you an email saying they cannot provide any information as to why you haven't been approved, despite having a licence that's been accepted in over 10 European countries.

Pathetic driving licence validation and customer service
I just received my Spanish/EU driving licence yesterday, uploaded on UBEEQO, they rejected it and when I asked for the reason, they replied saying 'your Ubeeqo account has been suspended, as our system has flagged suspicious activity on your account during an automatic check'. Seriously??

Can I give less than one star for their customer service? I had to fill the car with petrol since you can only use their petrol cards at Repsol, which they don't advise you in advance. They said they will refund me the money. Even told me they already did the transfer, I am still waiting for the money weeks later. I assume they have no intention to refund me
stay away from this low class non caring company. There are better car share companies to use

Ubeeqo has served us well until now, so sad to see all these negative comments now. The move to minimum of 4 hours is a big problem, hence we need to look at other options.

I believe in transparency, I did not receive this from ubeeqo. I have been using this rental company for a while and suddenly they have blocked my account. On what grounds? (I’m not aware of anything) you still have the cheek to send me emails on changes about fuel cards but don’t want to tell me what I’ve done??
Can you please tell me what I’ve done, and why you didn’t feel the need to tell me.
I’m very annoyed !!

Account suspended after changing phone number
Have been using Ubeeqo for over half a year happily. Always parked the car on time, never damaged the car and never have I received fines, all the invoices paid.
Yesterday I changed my phone number in the ubeeqo app. Following that my account got suddenly suspended midst booking a new rental.
I called customer service and the only thing they thing could do is confirm that my account is suspended. When the 'system' automatically suspends your account for no apparent reason, it's game over, and you can't use their services anymore.
This is the absolutely ridiculous thing I have ever experienced. I have been a forbiddable customer and spend over 2000 euros in car rental in the last few months, and this is how they treat their loyal customers.

Cowboys STAY AWAY
Used last year in August and the car was filthy. And this was during the peak of covid. They just advised me to get to another vehicle which was 15 miles out and I had to pay for taxi with no reimbursement at all. Yesterday I needed a vehicle urgently so booked via ubeeqo. Got to the car and it didn't want to start. Then they made me go to another car again 5 miles out on my own expense AGAIN and guess what? Same problem I was on the phone for 2 hours 40 mins with no outcome no compensation noting what so ever! My car was booked for 17.45 and at 21.50 I got home via cab I was literally going in circles for 4 hours with this cowboy of a company. Stay well away don't end up with a loss like me. They don't care they don't even honor anything for the inconvenience you will literally end up spending more and walking away with noting. I think if they don't call me and do something I will be writing to watchdog. STAY AWAY

Their customer service is completely rubbish. Got at least three cars DIRTY and stinking weed with canisters of gas and rotten food inside. Got a penalty charge for a CANCELLED booking. There is no way to get a reply or a way to check the status of my complaints. No one could help me and kept saying for me to wait for a reply. My money was UNTIL NOW NOT REFUNDED. I have no way to escalate the complaint, the guys over the phone keep saying to me that it is a specific team that can reply.
Everything is extremely frustrating. If I didn't have further bookings already booked and paid for, I would just cancel the whole account. Because paying a subscription for this level of customer service is ridiculous!

Update: Turns out the charge they did was allocated against a booking done. I had an apologies credit in my account for a FILTHY car I got in a previous booking, I used this credit to book the car.
THEY changed my booking at least 3 times after the date the credit expired, AND THEN CHARGED MY ACCOUNT for the same amount of the credit!!!! I AM ABSOLUTELY FUMING WITH THEIR H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E service!!! No one in their rubbish customer service can advise me. They don't reply to emails, call at inconvenient times and then leave vague emails.

By far the worst experience I have ever had with a service. It has been a month and I still haven't had any information of use from their team after at least 10 phone calls chasing.
I had to SLEEP IN THEIR VAN because it broke down due to a clear fault with the battery, which was obvious as they couldn't locate the van when I tried to hire it, and the battery had also recently been replaced with an aftermarket one. I was stranded in Cornwall overnight and they won't even pay me back the fuel they owe me, let alone compensate me for the nightmare of a holiday I had as a result of their vehicle not operating correctly.

Best car club about
I have been a member 1 year and 6 months and this is the best car club. I was with Enterprise and Zip car and their rude and unprofessional. The main agent I deal with is Dimitar, his customer service is excellent helpful and any problems I ever face he is always there to help. I have started speaking with Yuki and she’s lovely also. The only thing I wish is that near my house there’s a space for Ubeeqo but at the moment no car and I pray they put my request throughly for the GLA to be put there as it’s only a road away. Other then that lovely company lovely agents great cars. Had my licence 4 years this year and I’m getting a car but glad I can use Ubeeqo to get around. Highly recommended this car club to everyone.
Rebranded and moved cars away from non-London locations
Signed up with e-car club in 2020, knowing there were cars based in useful locations for me. I got to use them once before they rebranded and got rid of the cars at the locations of interest.
They now only seem to have cars in London. I have absolutely no use for car hire in London, as it has one of the best public transport networks in the country.

Absolutely shocking company and shocking practices.
I have been a good customer for over 1 year with over 100 faultless bookings.
The first time I’ve ever had an issue was, I left boot marks on the floor as it was a rainy day, and the next “lovely” customer sent in a full report complaining. That’s fair enough- however Ubeeqo suspended my account (which had a £240 booking paid for and waiting) which refunded the money but would take 7 days to get it in account. Then blocked my account with no notification.
I contacted them and they said if I pay £75 i can be unblocked. I held my hands up and said okay messy footprints are a no and well move on.
Long story short if a customer gets in a vehicle and noticed a mess then they can send a photo to Ubeeqo who will then automatically block and send a £75 bill to the last customer.
Without even offering you the chance to say your side.
Next situation, I couldn’t log in, and couldn’t call from my number. However, When I call from my partners number it’s works and “customer service” said we can’t help you or tell you anything and that I need to send an email?
So they have customer service that don’t offer no service to the customer.
After emailing I was told there was suspicious activity on your account and when I queried for specifics they said they believe I have been letting unauthorised users drive the vehicles.
I wasn’t. With their extortionate excess rate I wouldn’t be that stupid.
I asked for proof and explained that every single booking has been made with my device and can be checked via imei number , also the fact that Every car has only ever been opened with my device- so how is it possible for to let some one use the cars u less I gave them my phone aswell?
When I said this and asked for it to be looked into I was told the decision is final and we will not be entering into anyfurther discussion
So bassiccly banned me, didn’t notify me and when I asked for details didn’t give me no proof and evidence or reason and then abruptly stopped communicating.
They have a astonishing amount of negative reviews and users and workers feel alike.

They must upset more customers than they have ever served and I don’t under stand how any logical person could run a Company that literally makes enemy’s for no reason whatever.
They act like Bully’s to get their cars paid off.

Have just created an account and was mid way through making my first booking when I was logged out. Now I am not able to log back in with my credentials. I am also not able to change password because the reset option gives an error message. Wish I had read the reviews before creating an account!

Spent almost an hour trying to get into a car I had reserved that was parked two levels underground where there was no phone signal and so the app didn’t work.
The response from the customer service team after making three calls (to try and access my booked car) to the question why are the cars left so far underground was “sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t”
Terrible customer service
No detail provided on why my application was denied.
I clearly pointed out that there was an error in the account holder's name, which therefore didn't match my driving license. Tried to edit the issue and got blocked from my account, then told by the agent that they couldn't provide any detail on why I was denied but they wouldn't reconsider the application.
I've been driving for 14 years with no issues, so this response is incredibly unsatisfactory. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.
Complete and utter waste of time and…
Complete and utter waste of time and energy on simply trying to hire a car for a few hours, and creating the account is almost impossible, with ridiculous requirements on such a simple thing. Spent a number of hours wasted (working hours I might add), trying to get a car in place, and this company is impossible. Telling me to take selfies of myself and to go and find a printer - all my information is legal and correct - am furious!!!

I booked a van through the ubeeqo app to move my furniture. I was aware that the day on which I rented it (1st of may) is a holiday, but since I could make a reservation I didn't expect any problems. However, when I arrived at IKEA Innsbruck I became very confused because I couldn't find the van. I called the customer service and it turned out that the van was parked in the IKEA garage that was locked because IKEA was closed. It was not possible to access it and I had to look for a last minute alternative. I am very unhappy with this, the only good thing was that customer service answered the phone quickly.

Misleading. all over the internet they are advertising car rental from 1Hour but when you attempt to book they will not allow you to book for no less than 4 hours or more? false advertising!! and everyones excuse in todays world is Covid. you should clearly state the changes and not continue to advertise and waste people's time.
