Don't trust them!

I used their app now more than once, and I am increasingly unhappy. Couple of weeks ago I rented a van for a Sunday. The van was available, they allow me to rent it, I arranged an important pick up accordingly. But after I reached the parking location, the van was not there. I saw all the van were stored inside ikea parking lot, which was closed. I called the costumer service and they told me that it was not the first time, and they could not do much, to try and contact somebody from Ikea. At least I managed to cancel my reservation, by my pick up went lost and I wasted 1h and a half of my time for nothing. As I did not have problem with them before, I decided not to complain. Then last weekend, my partner had been charged with a crazy price because after 6 pm on Saturday you fall into the weekend tariff. Well, after we have been informed we tried to find such information, and it is well hidden! It is also not clear when this extra charge is applied, if it is an extra charge or the total cost. And now I am wondering... for the rest of the weekend the van was available for anybody else to rent... but we have been paying for the van for the whole weekend! with that extra tariff it is stated that you have the van from saturday 6 pm till monday morning. But we checked, we could have rented the van on Sunday! We were outraged. First my partner tried to contact the costumer service, only to receive a link with the price list. Then I decided to express my disappointment and also complain about my bad experience. And I hear back that the prices are clear (not at all), that they will not refund us and that for the fact the van was not there when I rented it they are sorry but it is not their fault! Who's fault is it, then? Very very bad way to deal with the costumer, horrible. I will not stop recommending against this company.

Bad experience

I use Ubeeqo several times, and if it works properly it is an amazing service.

However, if it doesn't work. As we had last week, we returned the car on time but the system kept saying that we were parked outside the area. Which was not true because we parked in the same garage at the same spot.

Well, a software malfunction can happen, but then you need to have a good service point who can fix the problem. We tried to call them several times ( no response ), we contacted them directly with email and social media ( no response ). So I tried to call them again ( we rented the car last week Thursday ).

They want me to pay the penalty first and then they will have a look at it... it is crazy. The Ubeequ company is a mess and the client needs to carry the problem. It is the world upside down.

Company is a pile of horse crap.

How do you expect to compete with companies such as Zipcar when you’re crap?

I’ve booked with these guys at least ten times. The last few times I’ve booked I’ve had faulty/dirty cars. The last car I had, had an error message regarding the airbags, as I didn’t feel safe continuing my journey, I tried to call customer service to change the car, CS were closed at the time so I ended the booking early and sent an email straight away. It’s been three days so I called them to have my issue resolved and they think a £5 compensation voucher is acceptable. I’ve had a faulty car three times. Spent well over £100 and they think £5 is okay? I said it’s not acceptable now I have to wait 10 days to speak to someone with competence to help. Worst company ever. Cars are parked in Timbuktu and there’s always a problem with them hence the bad reviews. AVOID.

Never again

I have used this service twice and would suggest avoiding like the plague.

It is hilarious how many issues I have had in just two uses.

App glitches non-stop, filthy Van, fuel card declined, wasn't able to end the booking as the location tool didnt work, then the app wouldnt lock the van so couldn't leave the keys in the van, the customer support ends at 9pm and there is zero options or solutions for the above. My options were leave the van unlocked with the keys inside or lock them and take them with me.

It wouldn't be so bad if this was a startup and having teething problems but I used the service 6 months apart and it has actually gotten worse.

Not good at all!!

Not good at all!!! Created an account completed everything as I should all was going well until I was randomly logged out mid booking and once I tried log on. It said my account was suspended contact them about it and received an email stating my account won’t be reactivated. No valid reason whatsoever. I really need to hire a car and ended up with this treatment. If I could give zero stars I would!

Today was my second time using Ubeeqo…

Today was my second time using Ubeeqo and I had a really good experience both last time and today.

Last time, my car didn't have a fuel card, which made me panic a bit. I called the customer support, my call was answered straight away and I was told how to deal with this situation and was refunded the same week.

Today, I had no major issues, everything went smoothly and I was able to use the car to move some stuff between the flats.

I have not used the alternatives so cannot compare, but my experience with Ubeeqo has been great so far and I deffo recommend it

Bad service & don't pay back

Absolutely disgusted with Ubeeqo bad service they don't give a damn about customers. Vehicles are always dirty inside and out and half of them never work or have service warning come up. They have the audacity to send you to another pick up 45 minutes from your house. You have to force them to pay for taxi to vehicle but they will only pay one way. They give false promises when paying you back. 10 working days more like a month. They used to be good but since last year it's gone downhill. Look at all the bad reviews they are getting and nothing is being sorted. Also now the minimum booking is 4 hours. So being forced to book for hours you don't use/need. Their website says they clean vehicles in-between bookings which never happens. Sort it out as you'll be loosing customers to the competition

Shocking company

Shocking company. Have used this company for 3 years and have finally had enough and will be moving to Zip Car. The amount of times I’ve had to take the keys home because the car hasn’t locked to then make the journey back the next day and return them is a joke. One time I was randomly charged over £150 for no reason, took them
months to reply to emails to sort it. I’ve recently been trying to contact customer services for months after my account was locked due to changing my address but had no answer to emails, no one picks up the phone....
Charging £40 admin free to pay a £65 PCN also a joke. Avoid, the stress is not worth it.

Avoid.

This company should just be stopped from trading. They are just amateurs.
Cars are always in dirty state and with unreported damages. Reporting the state of the car at the beginning of each booking is a real task.
Their information on the website regarding how they handle PCN's is FALSE and MISLEADING.
If you get a PCN do not expect Ubeeqo to reach out for you or to help you with information to raise queries with the relevant council.
I personally experienced an issue with a PCN and Ubeeqo failed to inform me of the charge (as per their website information), didn't give me any chance to dispute it (as per their website information), took weeks to reply to 2 emails, and still, I have not received copy of the information I requested to try challenge this PCN with the council.
I strongly recommend Zipcar, there is just no contest. I got a PCN with Zipcar, they paid it themselves within the 14 days to get 50% reduced charge, and charge it directly to my credit card, no fuss, no hassles, just great service. Their cars are better, more reliable and clean. Just pay the extra and save yourself the stress.

AVOID!!! Scammers.

AVOID!!!
Damaged dirty cars. They never fix them. Payment cards never work, so I had to be out of pocket.
Customer service slow.
They suspended my account after introducing a few friends with a voucher code, no reason given. Seems they just want money money money.
I tried to resolve it but they avoid giving an answer or proof and respond with generic copy-paste corporate speak.

Account suspended overnight cancelling upcoming booking

Account suspended, cancelled booking, phone number goes to recorded message to email them. Contacted to customer support - they said they are not in U.K. abs operations team suspended the account and there is no further details or reason available. It’s really really weird that their operation team has no communication to the customer service team.

So fustrated

So fustrated, they suspended my account for 3rd party payment approval and it was my aunts card and they kept asking for approval while I explained the situation of her catching covid 19 and passing away. Yet they didn't take it into consideration and they decided to completely block me off! What a bullsht lol.

Bad service

Bad service. Luckily the car was running fine except from a tyre with low pressure. The fuel card was expired so I had to pay with my own money (I asked for a refund). Then, At the end of my booking, the car wouldn't lock so I had to take the keys with me (as I was asked to) and next day guess who they asked to get back to the car to fix the situation? The customer!!
I paid for the service!

What a shame

What a shame, its so sad to see companies such this one scamming people on bright sight. Basically, I rented a car for 6 hours, went on a journey and on my way to park back the car at the end of my booking, another car was parked in my spot. Couldn't find a spot to park, had to look for another spot and once found, I tried to park the car and the charging spot was broken. Finally had to call the customer service to ask for help (which took me almost 10/15 mnts to get someone on the line) to finally have the person telling me to park the car and leave as is Meanwhile, another customer service from ubeeqo leaving on my voice mail asking me to return the car asap as my time was over.

Once done, I heard the voice mail and asked myself " do they communicate to each other in ubeeqo "? A few minutes later, I got my bill with 33 euro extra charge for 35 mnts delay. Had to call again customer service and explaining the situation, to which they replied: you have to send an email to customer service and claim.

Email sent and 2 days later a reply with a stupid smiley face at the which I quote " You have been charged extra due to the delay before returning the car make sure to extend next time to avoid any extra cost fees :)) - Basically this service is a pure SCAM!!!!

Do not use this company!

Do not use this company!! If you run a business and book a car it will NOT BE THERE! They do nothing to penalise those who abuse the service. We have been let down THREE TIMES, which has had a serious knock on effect on my business. 🤬🤬🤬🤬
