Poor service, advertising wrong prices

I stumpled upon a discounted dlc for Division 2 in the Ubisoft Connect app. Only 9,- DKK

I added it to my basket, but now it was 67,5 DKK

Obviously I contacted support, who seemed to this it wasn't their problem asked for a promo code for the price difference between the advertised price and the basket-price, or to talk to a manager, both which were declined.

So this is my encouragement to the lot of you, to buy your game via other channels than Ubisoft.

Reminds me of EA service, which is not good..

My authenticator worked fine with the old launcher, but since i tried to log on to the new "Connect" My Authenticator didnt work? Waited 5 days for support. No answer. when i finaly tried to chat with a support, he fixed my problem within 10 sec -.-

Asked for a 10% voucher for missing the launch due to long waiting from support. DIdnt get one.. THis company reminds me of EA level support.

The only Change they are interested in is the change in you WALLET.. if i could only give half a star.

Do not buy games in the online store -No service and very bad terms.

My experience is with the online store.

Short version: Discounts doesn't work, you need to do the followup on your case or nothing happens and just by downloading a game, you can't get a refund. -My recomendation: Wait for the games to be released on Steam or other sites instead, Ex: On Steam you are allowed to play a game and still be eligible for a refund.

The long story:
I recently bought Anno 1800, as the store promised me a 20% discount. At the checkout the discount was used, but in the following invoice, the FULL amount was charged.
I opened a case and have since had to initiate a chat with the support, no less than three times to get matters moving. It has taken from the 7th of August until now, just to get the discount matter handled.
If I hadn't initiated the contact, I'm pretty sure the case would still be ongoing and I would still be kept in the dark.

And I'd grown so tired of their stonewalling and keeping me in the dark, that I wanted a full refund. But no, just by downloading the game, I can't get a refund....
Pretty neat policy for Ubisoft's wallet, just keep ignoring customers, until they have downloaded your game, before looking at their cases... Voila! No refunds.... Great day for the Excel sheets, bad day for business morale.

My children recently purchased a game …

My children recently purchased a game disk manufactured by Ubisoft. Early in the game, it freezes and will not allow you to continue further. We went back to the store and got a new disk, only to find the same problem at the same point in the game. We went online and found that this was a known defect of the game. I went online to Ubisoft Support and was told that I would be required to ship the disk back to them with certain requirements (with a minimum cost to me of $13). The company refuses to send a pre paid label, or compensate me for the cost of shipping. REMEMBER, THIS IS A KNOWN DEFECT OF THEIR PRODUCT. I have gotten vague offers of game currency with no details as to how much will be given, and when I requested that the game currency be at least equal to the amount of real currency spent (as if I purchased currency through the game) I was told that there was no guarantee they would do that.
This is inexcusable!!! All I am asking for is to be compensated for the amount of shipping their defective product in some way, and the best answer I can get is Eh, Maybe we will give you some pretend cash in the game.
I have dealt with several other companies in the past concerning defective merchandise, and have either been given pre paid shipping labels, or asked to provide photographic proof the item has been destroyed in order to get a replacement.
Demanding that your customers ship the disk back and pay for it out of their own pockets is ridiculous.

Would have rated 0 stars (For Honor)

Ubisoft continually ruin their games from beta to release promising players a great experience but destroying the playability of games throght the poorest collection of developers in the gaming community. Do not preorder their games and even so prevent buying them when out. This is primarily focused on the new game just released For Honor which had a ton of bugs in the beta that was promised to be fixed but was not (why even have a beta?). When the complete game came out the promised campain was short and utilized multiplayer assets. Besides the many bugs the beta actually had great characters and battle interface which is entertaining if that is what you like. However most character have been nerfed and slowed down in the official release completely removing the fluid dynamics we al loved. Besides that a ton of poor nerfs have been added to a bunch of characters ruining their original counters throwing the entire system of characters out of balance which is a total tragedy for a skillbased pvp game. I had fun in the beta, but the official release is just a sad shadow of what it used to be. Do not waste your time on this game.
