Several buys from Hype and their products do not disappoint. Over the past few years I have bought coats, hoodies, rucksacks, bottles, lunch bags for my Grandchildren and nephews. They quality is excellent. The products have been used in every school day, picnics etc and I've never worn. The children only change the styles as the patterns alter and they want a newer style. Rucksacks are then used by parents are still in use 5 years on and still going strong.

Bags not fit for purpose - avoid
The shambles began when Hype didn't dispatch the school bag we ordered on next day delivery on 31/08/23 for several days. Once the bag finally arrived over a week late, my daughter was happy with it. Within 2 weeks, the chest strap fell off. Annoying, but we could live with it. By Christmas, one of the bottle pockets was unusable. A busy time, I forgot to do anything about it. Just before the start of the Easter holidays, the stitching all fell apart on the bottom of the bag, so the front pocket of the rucksack is completely unusable. As I was busy at the time with 2 unwell children and am now raising it just outside of the 6 month window, Hype will do nothing (I requested they fund repair since their site is full of eco claims) except offer £5 off another purchase, but obviously I won't be risking another substandard product.
A school bag should be usable for more than 6 months. My daughter's last one (Smiggle) lasted her for 5 years, and was replaced only because it was now too childish, so I am confident this is not down to her.

Emailed customer service on 27th March…
Emailed customer service on 27th March as parcels were left outside my property by bins. They were stolen which happens a lot on my estate. Final conclusion after hype contacting Royal Mail 2nd April was that they had been delivered according to Royal Mail tracking GPS system. I explained & sent a picture of the parcels left by bins from Royal Mail tracking site. Customer service awful I did not get refund or replacement tracksuits. Not happy at all £70

Poor quality. Looks like it has shoulder pads doesn't look like it does on picture really wouldn't recommend a lot of money for cheap market clothes
