Uncaring

Uncaring, rude and terrible customer service.
Booked a return ticket to Sri Lanka on the 23rd March for 4 of us, unfortunately my son who is 16 was stabbed in November and we decided to send him to stay with a local family in Sri Lanka early for his own safety and to get him away from a bad crowd. We wanted him to return with us on 8th April. We had no idea we couldn't use just the return leg of our tickets, it just didn't occur to us. We informed Omega of this. We asked them what the charge would be for amending the ticket to a return. That was like getting blood from a stone, just trying to get through to Omega is a complete nightmare! when you do get through they cut you off, and if you finally get to speak to someone are rude and uncaring. After many phone calls and numerous emails I am no further along! I have been quoted £120 for airline penalty, £30 admin fee and £546 for fare difference!. I cannot afford this. Then I get quoted a different price, then I get told to cancel the ticket. I've asked them as my agent to negotiate with KLM but they are just not interested and all I get is automated replies or brush offs. We travel in less that 2 weeks and I'm at the end of my tether! Please check the booking terms and conditions and if anything goes wrong do not expect Omega to care or to help resolve any issues you may have. I have used Omega a few times and things have been fine, I guess you have to learn the hard way

WARNING - AVOID THESE CROOKS AND GET YOUR FLIGHTS!

Well I'm sitting here with my daughter who booked with this bunch of cowboys in April 2017 for a flight from Gatwick to Vancouver so she could explore Canada. Since then the company have cancelled flights without telling her why then rebooked her from Heathrow to Vancouver leaving tomorrow! So she tries to check in and the airline, Air Canada, tell her that Omega Travel cancelled the booking on 14th February this year! Strange because on the 27th February she received her confirmation from Omega Travel of the flight details!
Now she travels tomorrow and has hotels, train tickets and everything booked from Vancouver and they have now booked her from Gatwick to Toronto without even informing her and with no way of getting across Canada and their comments as we try and speak on the phone to them is they cannot guarantee anything!
They told her the flight had been cancelled by Air Canada, but she spoke to Air Canada who say the flight is confirmed so they speak with forked tongues!
We have been cut off four times now as we speak with them when on hold so who knows what us going on. The people we speak to are Indian so the company probably has a phone base in the country so even popping round to see them will get you nowhere.
She has saved up for ages for this trip and for a bunch of people to spoil it for her really makes me mad so if anyone is thinking of booking with this company, please don't as a weeping daughter seeing her dream trip in shatters is not on!
The main problem now is that everything revolves around her getting to Vancouver tomorrow to make her connections as she is booked with no back up plan otherwise!
I can see Dad popping round to their offices in Milton Keynes and having a stern word with their UK end of the business!

Do not use Omega travel

Do not use Omega travel. Booked flights to Sri Lanka through them and got a text saying they had been cancelled and to call them. Called them, was put on hold for 10 minutes, called back and spoke to someone who had very little grasp of English- wouldn't explain why the flights were cancelled and just basically couldn't understand what they were saying. After some navigating, managed to get a refund form from them, but they said it could take 6 weeks for a refund which is ridiculous. They have been unbelievably unhelpful and I suspect it could be fraudulent. A very stressful experience. Found them through Skyscanner so assumed they were a trusted company but they absolutely aren't. Don't waste your time/money with them.

Last night , I booked a flight from London to bangkok at a price of £799.00
by using the website omega travel. The online booked was successful but came back as Declined. The next day, I telephoned my bank to see what had gone wrong and they said that Omega put the payment through and then the declined it. I then telephoned Omega travel in Milton Keynes and they said that there is a problem with your bank and not Omega Travel.
Don't use these scammers agents, they are liars. They quote you a good price and then later they will try to make you pay more for the flight

Very poor company

Very poor company. Do not use. Still awaiting my £2500 refund. They do not answer their phone. They keep you waiting for hours. I had to borrow money to rebook my tickets. I have reported this to my bank and they may recompensate me after my travel date. Very disappointing considering I booked through Sky Scanner. It is unbelievable that they are still allowed to advertise on Sky Scanner.

PLEASE DO NOT USE.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Flights cancelled and requested refund. Took 3 hours after being put on hold and hung up on to agree that I will be refunded. Told I would have to wait 12 weeks for refund even though my money had been taken. 15 weeks later still waiting. No response to emails. Constantly calling to be told "its with refund department". Cannot speak to refund department; I doubt it even exists, to be honest. Cannot speak to supervisors/managers; always busy. Cannot explain how bad this company is and how stressful it is trying to get my money back. Simply, DO NOT USE.

I tried purchasing a flight twice using …

I tried purchasing a flight twice using the website and both time it failed with a message saying "call for assistance". The first person answered quickly, but did not speak english so had to hang-up.

I called again and a second person tried helping, saying the price had increased hence the error. I agreed with the new price and new link sent, which also errored. I was asked to try other cards which also failed to work, so went elsewhere. A waste of 30 minutes

Omega Travel Shop Bad News Company

I booked a flight with this company back in June/July and got an amazing price. All seemed good until the last week or so when I kept getting text messages to say my flight had been cancelled and to call an 0870 number, which I did, this call lasted 8 min and I was charged £3.75 for the call and I was eventually cut off. I tried several times more to contact them through other UK numbers getting cut off and being put through to people speaking Chinese or speaking English with accents so strong I could not understand them before being cut off again. I contacted the airline directly only to find there was no issue with my flight at all, so this is clearly a fraudulent money making exercise. Probably to make up the short fall in the cheap fares offered. Do not use this company.
