At the moment, devices can only be added to an existing policy by calling our customer service team. Online functionality for this isn’t available yet, but we are working to introduce it in the future.

Worst insurance cover

If I could give -5 stars I would, this is not the 1st time I had a issue with the repair of my iPhone due to the repair centre just not even doing basic checks. The 1st time I wasn't happy but my phone came back from a repair for a broken screen only to find the new one had dead pixels on this occasion they did well and did a swap at my door step and reimbursed me my excess I couldn't ask for more.

On this last encounter it was worse the iPhone went off again for a damaged screen same iPhone and I got it back and the screen was delayed in responding to the selections/taps I thought okay I need to give them a call, I didn't get round to it but literally few days after the whole screen has come away from the phone and is only held on by the electrical ribbon.

I called and was told by the customer complaints team which is the highest department the repair team do checks before it's sent out implying I may have caused the screen to come of which is literally paper thin to come away from the phone, I don't see how that is possible without damaging the screen as it's literally got not even a mark onit still works even thoe it's hanging off the phone.

I did explain the last time this issue happend and how it was handle and was told that's not how it works and being spoken to as if I was making it up. Also told the complaint will be closed even thoe it was not even resolved. The only option I had was return the phone and have it checked by them under warranty (which apparently isn't part of my policy) and they will rectify if they deemed it was not my fault. Literally making it out as if they was doing me a favour. Absolute joke. Oh I forgot to mention the iPhone pops up with a message saying the screen is not genuine to which is another issue.

As this is no fault of mine, I asked for reimbursement for my time as I will be without a phone for up to 7 days and was told not possible and basically shut down on the call so they can end it. I will be seeking further advise and taking it further.

I don't know what's happened to the company but I will be looking for alternative cover and leaving protect my bubble. If you're thinking of joining them I'd say stay clear and just go with apple care as the price difference is literally 50p

Just shameful.
