Have had these pillows for many years to help with neck issues so this was the only replacement for an old one. Difficult to comment on smartcool technology as it is not summer.

Brilliant neck supporting pillow
I have tried many pillows over the years and never found the perfect one, this pillow is almost there, I find it a bit low so have a very thin pillow on top and is working, the best bit is, it’s got rid of my neck pain.
Great pillow! Firm enough for side sleeping and back sleeping. Its helpd my neck quite a bit.
Unfortunately this pillow did not work to relieve my neck pain so I returned for a refund. The process for return was easy and the refund made without delay so a good company

I frequently experience neck and some high upper back pain - almost certainly due to genetics. Whilst I am mainly a back sleeper, I spend some time sleeping on my side each night. It is still fairly early days but this pillow does seem to be helping reduce the pain and its frequency. I switch the pillow from the back sleep position to the side sleep position as necessary. Some people might find this inconvenient but for me it works better than other anatomical pillows I have tried and, most importantly, it is worth it to not wake up with an aching neck/back in the morning. In addition the pillow does stay nice and cool. The biggest problem that I had was deciding on which size I should order. There is little guidance on the website and when I rang Tempur I was given a list of stockists. Unfortunately, several of the 'stockists' had none at all and others only had one size, so it was impossible to make a proper judgement. Consequently I took a gamble and ordered what I thought, on the basis that there is a guaranteed return period. A final note, just to say, that if you're not used to this type of pillow, you may initially find it very firm but it is less so than others I have tried.

Brilliant. I have used lots of expensive pillows to relieve a sore neck, this is the only one that works for me .

Good quality pillow, unfortunately due to a replacement disc in my neck it wasn't suitable. Tempur refunded money very quickly.
Neck pain reducing. Sleeping soundly again.
Really comfortable for my head and neck.
Was unsure about this - for me, very expensive pillow but willing to give it a go given the 30 day money back policy. The first night was definitely strange, but after that, it felt like the most comfortable pillow I've ever slept on. It matches the contours of my head and neck perfectly. I'm more than satisfied.
I have just bought a second one of these. I am a fan of Tempur Original pillows and have been so for years. I bought the SmartCool one earlier this year and was very pleasantly surprised that with this cover, it really is a cooler pillow for a better nights sleep. I bought a spare cover now too so I can keep them washed and freshened regularly. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
I've tried a lot of cheaper pillows in the hope they would be good but unfortunately they cannot compare to tempur pillows. Its supportive for my neck and head and extremely comfortable.
So far so good. Comfortable and no more dead arms or shoulder pain.
