Great service

I bought an Apex 5 Pro controller from WhatGeek. The controller was defective, developing stick drift after approximately 2 months of use. WhatGeek is replacing the controller. The reason for 4 stars, instead of 5, is that it took about a week for them to review my claim. Otherwise great service.

Order arrived defective but replaced

Ordered a game controller. Arrived broken due to manufacturer defect. Support immediately agreed to replace it, but I had to follow up later as I had not received any shipment or shipment notification after 5-6 weeks. Support apologized about an inventory issue and offered to pay for local repair which wasn't an option in my area. Eventually agreed to ship a replacement which arrived without defect. A little bit of a process to get everything done, but satisfactory result.

Stock problem

Unfortunately, there is a huge stock problem. It would be great if the company could improve on this issue. Apart from that, my message was misunderstood many times, but thankfully, they finally helped. Other than that, I haven't had any other problems. I hope I don't encounter the same problem with the new product, thank you.

Absolutely amazing service

Thought it was a legitimate product but…

Thought it was a legitimate product but they’re a scam, all it is, is a bunch of emulators on a cheap android device. I’m out near 200 quid, their customer service only got in touch when PayPal sent them an email. Now the dispute is resolved (no confirmation of order it turned up eventually) they’re no where to be seen. The product wasn’t even new the SD card had been removed no manual or charging cable. The machine itself has a key logger installed which I thought a little weird. Avoid and just leave nostalgia in the past.

edit: So far since I've been in contact I have had an A.I ask me to provide a detailed video explaining my issue, while I have no issues with this it does seem a little odd, (I would suggest changing this to photos when required). I think a human has made contact as things are moving swiftly now and should have this problem resolved within 24 hours.

Problem resolved within 24 hours, swift and courteous responses, genuinely seem to care about customer service. Can’t wait to review the product itself the hardware for the price is exceptional. My initial review may have been typed in a fit of pique that’s on me, it’s my first review guys

Amazing

SCAM!!!

Stop lies! You're just simply scammers ! I was ordered Anbernic rg557 which arrived faulty ! The replacement which you send wasn't Anbernic it's plush toy ! GUYS AVOID SHOPPING IN THIS MENTAL SHOP ! THIS IS SOME KIND OF TERRORISM NO RETAILERS !!!

ANBERNIC RG40XXV Retro Game Console 256G

I had a fault with the screen of my ANBERNIC RG40XXV Retro Game Console 256G.

The console itself was working brilliantly as advertised until this issue.

UKWhatgeek were helpful in resolving this issue and have communicated that they are sending out a replacement as it is within the warranty period.
