Even though the weather was forecast to be bad, the 2 days the garden room was built were glorious days. It was lovely to see it go up so quickly. We have used the room most days, although cold days, we have put in a Calor Gas heater, which soon makes the room toasty! It has been admired by the neighbors. We were impressed by the professionalism of the team of erectors. They were polite and courteous.

A great experience
Our Huntingdon garden room was put up in just two days by a polite and efficient team. The end result is top quality and we’re very pleased.
All our questions were answered along the way and they have reached out and agreed a date to rectify a small issue that we didn’t even notice.

I can't fault my building
I can't fault my building, I use it as a glass studio and within two days of the build I was in and up and running again, I chose my window placements, colours of doors and walls and I love it. Super positive process and the lads that installed it were great!

I had spent quite some time online trying to find the right garden room that will be my home office. I didn’t visit UK Garden Rooms to see the building, but this experience has been superb. If you’re in doubt if to buy one from them, I would happily let you come and look at mine. The quality is excellent and the fitting team were really friendly and cheerful. Their work ethic was exemplary. I chose the composite fluted Danbury and love it. The customer service was excellent right from the start. It is a perfect space.

Excellent service received
Excellent service received, good customer service in regards to payment and delivery. The men came early and took just over an hour to put the shed together. No messing about. They got on with the job. I love the shed. Good quality and roomy.

Well it’s a shorter list to say what…
Well it’s a shorter list to say what went right than what went wrong . It took about a month to get what shud have been a simple install right.
Started with concrete base , they told me wrong size (told me too small) tried to ask me to pay to get it made bigger (long fight) but they caved in and fixed it. Then put the roof on backwards , then forgot the guttering .
Thankfully when I paid up front (as per terms) I had it on a credit card so had protection.
The product is great, the onsite guys are great, the leadership and customer service from base is lacking.
We got there in the end but I’ve had to fight and manage the details to ensure they were done right .

Hi there, we’re very disappointed to read your review as we feel it is rather unfair for the following reasons:
- We originally advised the base should be 10’x6’ which would have been perfect for your new building. You insisted on having precise measurements to the mm, which we provided. We apologise these measurements were inaccurate, each building is handmade to order which means there can be variation to the measurements.
- On the day of installation (13 Sept) our general manager called you first thing in the morning when learning from the fitters that the base was too small/the building floor was too big, he asked you if we could make a straightforward alteration to the floor to ensure it fit nicely onto the base and would allow installation to go ahead as planned that day, you rejected this offer. So we advised the base would need to be made bigger.
- We then offered to send a team to enlarge the base, this solution was sought on the same day as the original installation (13 Sept) and the base work was completed just 4 days later (17 Sept), so it is unfair to say you had to “fight” for a solution when one was given the same day and the work was completed swiftly after the issue arose.
- The team returned 3 days later (20th Sept) to install the building once the base extension had set.
We do apologise your building was not completed on 13 Sept as planned but we believe we worked as quickly as possible to resolve the issues and complete your new building.
We apologise the measurements given were inaccurate and that the guttering was not installed with the building as it should have been. We agree this may have caused you some inconvenience. However we are disappointed that our efforts to ensure your building went up as quickly as possible have not been recognised. We also note our customer service team responded to each of your emails leading up to installation within a 48hr period so find your comment that our customer service is lacking unfair. Please do get in touch if we can help further.
The whole experience has been really easy.
The whole experience has been fab and so easy, from ordering the design we chose to being fitted, we have had a summer house and now a shed in the same colours. expertly done, no issues and a couple of bits needed adjusting on the summer house last year but nothing on the shed and all looks great at the top of our garden, they are really good and get back to you straight away with any queries. We have one more larger shed in the future to buy and will def use them again and a great price

big shed no issues
There was a slight issue we had to deal with on the installation, but we sorted it and the shed went up in no time, it is sturdy, well put together and well finished.

Shoddy products, shoddy sales practices and shoddy customer service
Well well. It's very interesting to see that UK Garden Building have been less than helpful to the queries of other customers with the same issue. Their customer service and after sales service leaves much to be desired. I have also owned a UK Garden Building for 5 years and am noticing some deterioration of the building fabric. At the time of purchase I was also not advised of their recommendations of how to maintain the fabric of the building. I contacted their customers service department with my concerns. It is only then that they decided to inform me of their recommended maintenance regime. Had I been aware of their recommendations at the time of purchase, some of the deterioration of my building could have been avoided. I have questioned UK Garden Buildings why I was not advised of their recommended maintenance procedures at time of purchase. They decided to send paperwork to me which wasn't made available at point of purchase. Shoddy products, shoddy sales practices and shoddy customer service.
Lets wait for the usual reply saying they advised on maintenance processes etc. You did not. Take some ownership and be more open and thorough with your 'sales techniques'.
Thank you for your reply - Again, you fail to recognise your failure to provide information which explains the maintenance needs. It's all good saying it's a customers responsibility, but how can a customer follow the maintenance instructions when you don't provide any maintenance instructions?! Put your hands up and accept your company have regularly failed in this area.

Our buildings are guaranteed for 12-months and it is for the customer to maintain their building once they have taken ownership. Timber is a natural product which does require regular maintenance to maintain its serviceability and quality. If you could please give further details of your order we can look into this further. Edited Response - Could you please provide further details such as your name, order/invoice number? Timber is widely used in the construction industry and can be easily maintained by the consumer with very few specific maintenance requirements. Maintenance of the building is referred to in the terms and conditions on the rear of every order form which should have been read at the point of sale. If you had any further questions on maintenance of the building at the point of order, we would have been more than happy to issue further advice had it been requested.
Excellent product.
Extremely helpful from the word go, they kept us informed throughout. Delivered on time, fitters were excellent.
The shed is very well built.

13” x 10” Dalbury Outbuilding
We ordered the ‘Dalbury’ outbuilding from our local garden store and UK Garden Buildings Rugeley Ltd built it over 2 days at the end of July
The 2 guys who built it were very professional and friendly and we were very pleased with the end result.
All the rubbish was cleared away and the guys worked to a very high standard!
The outbuilding which is 13” x 10” is absolutely fantastic
