Excellent service quality planter

The website is easy to use and shows the immense range of products the company stocks, usefully categorised. I like to buy locally but could not find what I wanted. There was a really good choice here. Products were well pictured and described. I raised several queries all of which were answered fully, promptly and courteously. Delivery was to schedule and the product of good quality and good value for money.I would buy again happily.

Bought 3 trough planters for our fence but unfortunately they were so well made and sturdy they would have brought the fence down! My mistake as they were wall troughs not fence troughs. Fiona arranged for a hassle free return and refund and answered my emails straight away. Have used this company in the past and products are high quality.

We ordered two wooden planters with trellises, and they match perfectly with our garden furniture and are sturdy and well-made. We were also pleasantly surprised by the very reasonable pricing.

I ordered a bird table which arrived in two separate boxes.The base was fine but the top house section had a loose top and the slate roof was broken.I emailed the company and sent photos.I received a prompt reply and we agreed that a replacement top section would be sent out.Everything was rectified within the week and a very well wrapped top section arrived intact. I am happy with the service I received and the communications from Fiona.

Excellent customer service! Bought the plant caddy for my mum, when I thought there was a problem Fiona responded very promptly. No problem at all in the end (confusion was totally on our side) & all is good. The caddy is also exactly as described - sturdy, strong & perfect to use. Would highly recommend.

Update 18/06/2025 - UKGS has since been in touch, apologised for the oversight and refunded the cost of the arch, which is fair enough. They are a small family run business which we should all be trying to support.

Original review - "I have to start by saying that I made a mistake ordering. I wanted one of their hand made rose arches but took a convoluted route through the website and ended up with a pre-packed item, which I could have bought anywhere. On inspecting the item, it was poorly manufactured with split wood and some filler.

I contacted UKGS but to cut a long story short, after initially responding to an email, any further attempt to contact them resulted in undelivered emails and messages not returned.

I've assembled the curved top rose arch and spent time gluing and clamping the split sections, sanding and filling and with a lick of paint it looks passable"

I am impressed with the company's customer service, I had an issue with a gate latch, I sent photo's and an explanation of the issue. The response was quick and quibble free, the only thing I would suggest, is maybe review which logistic company you use, they were a bit shabby. Over-all though, excellent service.

My order was delivered very quickly, one item was unavailable, a note inside the other items requested that I contact the company to confirm if I would like a replacement or a refund. I ordered the heavy duty trellis planter. The planter arrived promptly but the courier had forgotten to deliver the trellis. Customer service responded to my email immediately and the trellis arrived the following day. Good quality product and excellent customer service. I would definitely use this company again

My order said delivery within a few days but the troughs were for the Best Kept Village group and the judges were due any day. So I asked if the company could expedite delivery and bless them that's just what they did. The troughs arrived in two days, plenty of time to get planted and on display.

Great service, ordered Sunday and received Wednesday and I live in Guernsey. Will use again and recommend.

Excellent customer service. Although my order had to be cancelled due to out of stock, I was reimbursed with my money within 2 days. Normally it takes a company 5 days. i will continue to use this company.
