We thought Starlink would be great as we are in a poor internet area near Bath UK. However, Starlink has proved to be a nightmare, regularly going off at peak times, streaming near impossible. We pa... See more

Car Crash Start
Signed up for Starlink, they delivered completely to the wrong address. You cannot all anyone you have to do everything on a ticket.
The reply was that if wanted to change my address I need to do it online then contact the courier myself.
They either don't read these tickets or don't understand English.
Messaged them to say my address was correct and they made the mistake and asked them to sort. After several days had no reply.
This is my first dealing with Startlink and on this basis I will probably cancel. If they can't onboard new clients helpfully I dread to think what it would be like to have a problem mid contact.
Dreadful service and clearly the company don't care as they never seem to reply to any of these reviews.
Rubbish for gaming ,lets be honest…
Rubbish for gaming ,lets be honest nowadays most ppl who want high speed Internet want it for downloads or gaming, we have 2 starlinks 1 in gambia 1 in Wales both suck bad for 80 pounds a month.
A good alternative to no internet, not to slow internet
Worked OK for the first year or so then when I imagine demand grew it has become borderline unusable. Frequent dropouts at least a few times a week for sometimes up to 2 hours with no way to fix.
Probably a good alternative to nothing, but if you're stuck on slow ADSL I'd still take that over this any day.

Locked out of my account can’t get through to anybody can’t reset password can’t reset email address can’t reset phone number. Considering they have rockets so that can’t even supply internet
They just delay and delay and delay…
They just delay and delay and delay delivery. Unable to contact anyone to cancel the order as there is no response on the live chat. I hear EM owns the company. I’m sure he can afford a few staff to manage customer service! Honestly it hasn’t even arrived yet and I’m wishing I hadn’t bothered
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service
Ordered 14 days ago. As soon as order was paid delivery was extended by a week! Tried to cancel as I could have picked one up at curry’s same day! I only ordered direct as it said 3 days! Then it changed to 14 days. And still not shipped. Wouldn’t allow me to cancel. It hasn’t been shipped but just return it! Really
If you want to try one buy from curry’s why would the average person wait 2-3 weeks!
Abusive and fraudulent company
Abusive and fraudulent company. Despite decent performance they are uncontactable apart from chat which is a waste of time. They take unauthorised charges from your bank without ANY notification which breached FSA regulations in the UK. They are an absolute nightmare to deal with when anything goes wrong. Caveat Emptor. Buyer beware!!!!
Added Global roaming to my package without my consent or knowlege!
Avoid starlink, I currently have a subscription with them that has left me in financial difficulty. Started on the residential package of £75 a month and paid over £400 for installation. Everything was going well, alright coverage but signal not reachable in all areas of my house or my garden. I looked in to an upgrade to data roaming so I could get a larger area at home and on my land. For £95 a month and will unlimited data, I felt it was feasible. I paid £11 to transfer over to the new package. Thought no more about it until I got my bill in May £2,129.46 I was absolutely shook! I tried to contact them immediately and got extremely vague and slow replies and took about 2 weeks for them to confirm that I had global roaming turned on and that I was being charged continuously. I had never selected that option or knew about it as they don't make it clear to you. I checked this in the app and I had never selected this option or turned it on. I have been back and forth with them and they take days to get back to you. I asked to speak to a representative in person, which took a week for them to finally call me. They called and said (on recorded call) that they can see it was an error and I was not aware of it but still only offered to take £94 off!!! I said that there is no way i should be liable for an additional service which I was not aware of or had any knowledge of and asked them to terminate my contract and take me to court so I can show my evidence. They have again not responded. I have been coerced me into a financial debt which I did not agree to. I am now currently pursuing this legally as they are trying to charge me an additional £850 already next month. I have collected all my evidence for the court. My advice is please avoid this company, Do not get the data roaming package and I do not recommend them. Go for a more reputable company in the uk.
*update*
Last month they wavered this fee as it was incorrect and I paid my regular bill. Now again 3/8/25, they have charged me £461 again for the same issue and have cut my Internet off again. I have been contacting them again but had a message saying they won't amend the fee and now are not replying to any of my messages!!!! This is an error on their part but still expecting me to pay. I have asked them numerous times to call me and responded but nothing.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Honestly the worst service ever, I've cancelled order
Rubbish customer service
Starlink failed to charge my card!! multiple times. service disconnected and there customer service would take forever to respond by canned answer!!
They have my phone support in the UK and good luck in restoring the service back.
Seriously rubbish !!

Do Not try 30 days 'free' trial we've been charged £382.00 in 17 days and haven't even opened the box because Starlink fail to provide return details and no replies from customer service as per other reviews!
Starlink worked brilliantly for the…
Starlink worked brilliantly for the first year but now it’s several times per day it drops the Wi-Fi and internet connections. Initially they could be reset quickly and now it can take up to an hour and drops minutes later. Appears to be worse first thing in the morning and at night (peak times?) and impossible to get passed the “chat bot” before it “opens a ticket” and comes back with nothing. Going to have to replace it with another system!

I wish I could say that I loved starlink .. but it just hasn’t been the case. I line in chiswick west London … had starlink installed Nov 24 … but it’s not been great for £96 p/m .. had to go onto the business tariff as I couldn’t get onto the residential tariff … the congestion at night watching TV is terrible .. the TV is constantly circling waiting for an internet connection to re-connect … I have now signed up to go back to virgin fir £31 p/m … I’d rather pay less for a mediocre service. Such a shame ??
Game changer
Starlink is a game changer. Especially if you want to stream (me) or work (my wife) when camping where caravan sites have notoriously poor mobile signal and WiFi.
Yes Starlink is a little expensive but for us well worth the £
And customer support via the App is hugely responsive.
AWESOME!!!!!!
AWESOME!!!!!!! We don't have landline broadband in the area so i suffered 4g sim only deal using an Archer m500 router. 4g not too bad speeds... then EE upgraded their mast... YEY 5G!!!! speeds of over 100Mbps! lasted a week. then speeds between 0.12 and 1.4Mbps... Many phonecalls, ended up telling me i was getting expected speeds!!!! INSANE. I need fast internet for myself and the family, streaming, work etc... So, bit the bullet, got starlink.
All i can say is WOW1 regular speeds + 100, 200 and sometimes 300Mbps. my web is faster than opening a document on my M1 2022 Macbook Pro! It is SERIOUSLY FAST
Still outstanding 2 years on
I ordered direct from starlink nearly 2 years ago. Equipment arrived in less than a week. Easy setup. Fast speeds and no noticeable lag even when making video call while streaming HD video. The issue I've had was when additional satellites were added and my receiver rotated and hit the edge of my roof (I didn't use a long enough pole). Longer pole added to get above roof peak and no more issues.

Couldn't agree more with the CG review…
Couldn't agree more with the CG review made recently.
Have battled with BT for years - "oh, don't worry fibre is coming". This conversation went on for 10 years with speeds of 7 & 1 at best on Copper. And try speaking to Open Reach - good luck!
Now getting 100 + and circa 12 in admittedly a difficult rural position. It's just night and day. Teams calls were dropping out and I genuinely worried about my business through this. BT simply didn't care.
Agree use a professional installer - used Spacelink - very professional.
Like the CG review , I cancelled the BT contract. Poured a large glass of Chablis, lit a cigar and thought I don't need to listen to BT's nonsense and ghastly music whilst being passed from pillar to post ...anymore. Bliss, ditto.
Zero Customer Service, Zero Returns Infrastructure.
The returns process is non existent. Customer service is less than zero. Shocking, has ruined what was a useful product. Avoid!
One of my better decisions
I've been putting up with shocking broadband for years and paying BT a fortune for the privilege.
Finally made the move to Starlink.
My experience is that this just works....but...get a professional fitter to sort this as it's not that simple.
Also the speed to the router was amazing 300-400 Mbps. However I still needed a mesh system for WiFi and cabled Ethernet in the far corners of a large house.
Now that's sorted the Internet is amazing and I can run multiple devices. No chance before with BT 3-15mbps.....what a joke.
The best part was cancelling my contract in its entirety with BT. Bliss.
Works right out of the box.
Ordered equipment and account just before moving house to a rural area with no broadband internet or only EE 4g internet. Near Thetford. No mobile phone signal of any kind either where I live. Arrived with removals van, set up Starlink and hey presto I got wifi calling, and everything you would expect immediately. Absolutely brilliant. Bit pricey but after factoring in landline rental and broadband account with normal providers its not that much more after inital equipment cost. No issues so far. It does sometimes drop out when not using phone but can reconnect immediatly. No issues with TV streaming at all. Only prob is Musk ruining the free world.
