UNIQLO TOOK MY MONEY and NOT PAYING BACK

I’m really disappointed with Uniqlo Germany’s customer service.
I was DOUBLE CHARGED at the Uniqlo store in Stuttgart when trying to buy a gift card and to this day, I haven’t received my money back.
The cashier processed a transaction and asked me to pay, which I did. Right after that, she told me the transaction had failed and needed to be done AGAIN, so I paid a second time. I received two receipts and immediately pointed out that I had been charged twice, but the staff insisted that wasn’t the case and told me to come back only if there was a problem later.
A day later later, I checked and confirmed that I had indeed been charged twice. When I returned to the store, they admitted that the first payment wasn’t linked to any item meaning UNIQLO TOOK MY MONEY WITHOUT giving me anything in return. They told me they couldn’t issue a refund in-store and that the case would be escalated to their finance department.
Since then, I’ve received no updates and no refund. I’ve had to spend my own time chasing a mistake that was entirely theirs. It’s frustrating and unacceptable. For a global brand like Uniqlo, this level of customer service is disappointing.
I just want my money back and a proper resolution!

I am extremely disappointed with the quality of products and customer service at UNIQLO Köln. I purchased a jacket that started shedding feathers after being worn fewer than ten times in just one month. When I went to the store to resolve the issue, I had to explain the situation repeatedly to three different staff members, including the manager, only to be told that I was somehow responsible for the defect.

As someone who regularly spends €300-400 at UNIQLO, I expected better treatment and accountability. Instead, I was met with unprofessionalism and no effort to resolve the issue or provide compensation. If this is the level of quality and service UNIQLO stands by, I will never shop here again.

Do better.

one of the greediest company

The clothes are okay, but it’s definitely a scam that you still have to pay for delivery even when you spend over 200 euros and choose a Packstation (especially with so many package thefts nowadays). They also charge 3 euros for returns. Shameless.

I have ordered 4 items and had to return all 4 because they were too big. Although originaly packed and in the same condition as I've reveived them, I only got refund for 3 items.

All good until you have a faulty product ..

It's all good and fine as long as you don't have to deal with customer support and faulty products. A faulty seam in a dawn jacket which leads to dawns all over your clothes is after lengthy back and for with customer service not considered a faulty product ... Since one cannot check products thoroughly in an online shopping environment this kind of experience will certainly shun me away from buying in the future at Uniqlo. I will certainly make sure to spread the word among friends and family. Based on my experience I am not at all surprised the rating for Uniqlo is so low at Trustpilot.

New York City required toilet facilities

While the return policy is very complicated and confusing I also have a complaint regarding one of the huge New York City stores. Specifically I was told they do not have toilets for the public and the store recommended going to the NY Public Library.
I believe this is against NY laws.

I had an oder over €300

I had an oder over €300. I’ve waited for over 2 weeks and it did not work out. I email customer service, they told me my PayPal payment did not go through. And they didn’t helpe me for this issue. So I did. everting in vain. I don’t recommend Uniqlo.de.

Terrible returns policy

Yes, everyone here is right, this company has a ridiculous returns policy and I will not be buying anything here again.

You can only return in the same branch you bought? Why, what's the poing of having a chain then? And if I bought online then I can only return via mail and then I HAVE to pay 2.95eur for the return, but I don't have another option?? Seriously, what a horrible policy.

Oh and the app is horrible, so extremely slow it takes an hour to do anything there.

very bad online service/retour

Uniqlo changed their retour service. They told us they do this to do something good for environment. Well if Uniqlo can do it digital and easy for the customers. It is very welcomed to do something good for the environment. However they are not ready to do it good. They just let their customer to print their own return-label and some other papers for the retour. It's more like to transfer the costs and work to customer. This could also be a strategy of Uniqlo to make return more complex and less people will return. There are more friends complained about their bad experiences.

Do not buy anything from Uniqlo online!!

Do not buy anything from Uniqlo online. I purcashed a coat in November and had it for just over a month and washed it exactly as per the washing instructions and the coat looks terrible as it is a down coat and the down is completely flat now. I contacted Uniqlo and they said that it was down to wear and tear which is a joke as I only wore the coat a few times. I have since written them a letter of complaint stating my rights under the Consumer Credit Act and I have still heard nothing. I think people should know what a disgraceful service they give if you want to return anything that is faulty!! Work service ever.
