I could not recommend Universal shutters enough. My initial meeting was with the head of the company, Colin and Marcin who made up my shutters. I had had a quote from a different company who told me that my type of windows meant I was limited with what kind of shutter I could have. Not so with Universal! Everything I asked for was possible and the quote I was given was less than I thought it would be and cheaper than the other company. Covid 19 caused supply issues as it has done for many companies, but communication was excellent and my shutters were fitted as soon as was possible. Minimum mess and a fast job was carried out on the fitting day. I even received a bottle of champagne when Marcin left, which was a lovely touch. They really are an excellent company and if I were to have more shutters fitted, I would not go anywhere else. 110% satisfied with the whole experience, thank you!

We ordered our shutters after a very pleasant and professional visit by Colin. His guidance as to what we could have fitted was spot on. A while later, on a cold and miserable day in the middle of a pandemic he called to tell us that we we had been drawn from a list of all of his customers and that our order would be completely free of charge. Not really a review of the product (that will come later) but we felt that we should let everyone know that the draw has taken place and that we were the very lucky winners.

The quality and care in fitting my new wooden shutters more than made up for a slight delay in delivery but to be fair Covid & Brexit are out of Universals hands. Definitely worth the wait & the money. I feel I was well advised by Universal from the outset too with honest advice on the pros and cons of all the options the fitter was professional friendly & extremely tidy - I would recommend them to anyone

The job was outstanding and has changed the look of my house and I am being asked on a regular basis where I had them done from and I've given your details to everyone thats asked. The fitter that was doing the job on my house was spot on and done everything in a professional manner at some point I forgot he was there. The professionalism and customer service from yourselves is one of the best I've come across and would recommend your company without fail to anyone who is looking to get these window shutters fitted.

I have been very impressed with the level of services right from the initial quotes and measurements taken to the actual fitting of the shutters! Communication was always very fast and professional. Collin a very nice gentleman to deal with no pressure selling and very relaxed. Martin the shutter fitter very hardworking and really takes time to make sure your shutters come out perfect! Would definitely recommend!

Used this company for the second time. The fitter is a wonderful guy and really all staff are great. Only disappointment was could I could not get a rose bottle of champagne😂😂

I am delighted with my shutters. Colin and Marcin were very thorough on their initial visit with their measuring and attention to detail and the shutters look fantastic. Marcin is a perfectionist in his work when fitting the shutters. I have privacy and can adjust the light coming in. The shutters block out the light really effectively for sleeping. I would highly recommend this company. Their shutters and service are excellent and reasonably priced.

After meeting several shutter suppliers and losing a great deal of time and confidence due to either poor service and / or inflated pricing we tripped on universal shutters and Colin.

Colin spent generous time educating us on our options and was brilliant. He gave honest and transparent advice and was very professional and relaxed in his approach.

From that point on things only got better as he and his team battled on our behalf to get the shutter delivery to us with minimal disruption despite the pandemic, great communication and this is when many other suppliers failing miserably or even going out of business.

When the shutters arrived they looked quality. The master fitter Marcin then arrived, and we loved him as he was so warm and caring about the experience we had and is the closest thing to superman we have seen :-)

All in all, I am AMAZED, by how good Colin, Marcin and his team are. You are in the best hands and at some point you’ll get that feeling these guys are too good, can they back it up? YES they can.

Process was really easy. Colin came to house with a good sample of products, no pressure selling just measured up and gave a fair quote. There was some time between ordering and fitting but that was explained and kept informed of progress. Fitting was both sets on windows and patio doors was carried out professionally by a fitter who clearly has an eye for detail and enjoys his work. We are extremely happy with shutters and would recommend and use again.
