We had already purchased shutters during the lockdown from am online company and fitted them ourselves. Two of our windows had 3 panels but the shutters we had purchased had 4 panels and they looked awful. I contacted Universal Shutters to help sort it out. Colin came out and had a look explaining that he would match the rest of the house and they could be made with three panels. On the day of the installation our fitter was superb, he was polite, hard working and nothing was too much trouble! The new shutters were fitted beautifully. They are fantastic quality and look amazing. The fitter even went around and adjusted our other blinds and completed the finishing touches.
The communications throughout the process was brilliant. We went into two lockdowns during the process but was kept up to date by Justina with any delays etc.

Colin and his team did a fantastic job with our shutters giving our home real curb appeal. So much so that when we recently moved we had him round straight away to quote for shutters again in our new place. Looking forward to their arrival in a couple of months time !

The guys at Universal Shutters did a fantastic job from consultation to installation. From the initial discussion, they were very thorough and attentive. We felt they were very knowledgable and experienced, they advised us and helped to make decisions and we worked out the designs together. We were really impressed with the range of shutters and also the great professionalism of Colin and his staff. Took time to go through our requirements as the window was not a regular size however what was fitted looks amazing and we are so happy with the style, look and ease of how to use. Really beats curtains, nets and blinds so we're looking to do more windows. The price quoted was what we paid (no hidden extras which you tend to find happens) and really affordable. Would highly recommend Colin and his company - you don't need to go anywhere else for shutters.
