Highly highly recommend this relaxing adventure!! Cabin was so cosy and cute and had all the amenities you need. The walk was just enough to get the heart going and made you feel like you really earnt your rest! What a view to wake up to, we loved everything about this little adventure. We will definitely be returning!

Amazing! The cabin was so comfortable and had everything I needed. I felt fully immersed in nature.

Ultimately, I never received a working voucher from Unyoked, nothing ever worked as it should. I had to prove I’d even paid for the voucher, and every step of booking was handled over email instead of simply online. By the time the booking went through, September (the dates I’d bought the voucher for) was already lost.

The whole process was convoluted, stressful, and completely at odds with the effortless “escape to the wild” experience Unyoked claims to offer

We booked the Whetu cabin for 2 nights, and boy the hike was definitely not for the weak haha Although, the ascend was not something we anticipated, the satisfying moment when we reached the cabin at the top was surreal. We had a really great time and would definitely come back hopefully with family and friends. And huge shoutout to the Unyoked team for being so responsive with our inquiries and needs too!

Cosy and beautiful cabin, just remote enough to give the illusion of complete isolation and peace, but still be within walking distance of a shop, pub and village. The cabin was really well equipped and clean, and very cosy. We had a problem getting hot water (partly solved by the troubleshooting guide) but it didn’t detract from the experience as we only stayed 2 nights.
My favourite was the expansive dark night sky and the sound of the trees- all from the comfort of the duvet.

The cabins are at incredible locations. Very peaceful and is a great way to disconnect.

Found unyoked while scrolling through instagram for my birthday trip getaway, decided to book 2 nights here to test. Never regretted and could only recommend as we seriously enjoyed our time here.

I was only there 2 nights b
ut that was enough. I was stressed and over worked and completely run down, until the minute I arrived. I could feel all that wash away, I could feel the tension I'd been holding disappear. I slept beautifully and loved stopping to "smell the roses".
Can't wait to do it again

We spent our mini-moon at Elin in Wales, which will always have a special place in our hearts. Totally worth every penny. We appreciated how comfortable it made us feel - hot shower, fluffy towels, comfy bed - yet how perfectly it blended into nature. We saw sheep & deer, watched the stars, heard owls, and most importantly, fell in love with our neighbour the big oak. We liked the small details like camping kitchenware and the small humour everywhere in notes, booklets, etc. One can tell a lot of thought has gone into to it all.

Beautiful little break away from the madness of everyday living. Stunning views of the valley and black mountains.

Had an awesome stay at the Josef cabin, which was the perfect switch off from life! Had everything you need and felt very remote, whilst being easily accessible from London via train to Petersfield and a taxi. Can’t wait to return!

Absolutely amazing experience and it truly is a mental retreat. Amazing attention to detail!

We loved the location, the cabin was supplied with everything - games, radio, an amazingly comfortable bed, cooking apparatus and lovely kit to make fresh tea and coffee. One thing that bothered us was the compost toilet. I've used plenty before (camping etc) and usually have no issue. This one hadn't been emptied before we arrived and the smell was, particularly for my partner, nauseating. The scent slayer spray then layered over a lemony smell, but combined it didn't really help. We opened windows and kept the bathroom door closed (although it didn't close by itself so we had to keep it shut with shoes propped up against it) while inside the cabin, but it is definitely something to bear in mind if you are sensitive to smells. The little table/dining nook also had not been cleaned and I had to scrub dried food off of it when we arrived. These were unfortunate draw backs to an otherwise lovely trip! One other thing I would say is providing walking routes on Strava, for a trip where people most likely want to leave their phones behind or may not have signal, was not particularly helpful. A physical local map with certain routes would definitely be more appropriate. We loved the fire pit set up and all the kit kept it safe and fairly easy to use. Thanks for having us!

Absolutely gorgeous stay. Cabin was so clean and so well presented. Amenities were all there and very well thought out. Really was able to switch off and experience nature as intended. Was able to completely feel recharged and comfortable from arrival to leaving.

I’m extremely disappointed with how my booking was handled. Just two hours before check-in—after I had already arrived in the area—I received a message saying my stay was cancelled because the cleaner had a personal emergency and couldn’t prepare the property.

This was meant to be a special getaway for my 30th birthday. Instead, I was left scrambling with little notice. Unyoked did offer a replacement cabin, but it was located an hour and a half away from my home—completely defeating the purpose of the original location. Three other options were also sent, but none were remotely suitable.

While I appreciate the offer to cover fuel costs, it doesn't begin to compensate for the lost time, stress, or the annual leave I took from work for this trip—none of which I can get back.

Please, Unyoked, ensure you have backup cleaners or contingency plans in place across all your properties. Emergencies happen, but the lack of preparation on your part should not fall on your guests—especially when they’ve planned something meaningful. This experience was far below the standard I expected, and it ruined what should have been a memorable milestone.

I hope you take this seriously and make changes to prevent this from happening to others.

Amazing company, and great cabin! just what i needed. Unyoked had thought about everything with amazing support

We’ve just spent 4 nights at one of the cabins on the Brecon Beacons. We live in central London so the peace and quiet was just amazing and, as advised, we did “nothing” but take advantage of where we were! Hiking, cooking, reading, early evening drinks in the rain!
The facilities were excellent, the compost loo totally doable, the bed extremely comfortable. We slept around 10 hours a night. For that reason alone we have returned to our city lives recharged.
I would absolutely follow the advice of Unyoked and be super organised with food and what you pack overall, so you have no need to interact with other human beings until you’re heading home. Then you get the full benefit of whatever out of the way location you choose.
We’re already planning our next visit.

We loved the cabin and the experience! Something different to disconnect from our city lives. Highly recommended if you want a surreal getaway where the only sound you hear is that of birds and perhaps a naughty possum or two at night! ;)

I booked my first solo off-grid experience through Unyoked a couple of weeks ago, choosing a cabin in East Sussex because it was so easy to get to from central London where I live. The whole process was seamless - from booking, to the clear instructions, to arriving at a beautifully designed, welcoming cabin.
I run a space tech startup and the past two years have been pretty brutal. I was really nervous at first, but the moment I stepped inside, sat on the bed, and looked out at the surroundings, my entire body sighed with relief. I cried for hours at the beauty of it all — realising how deeply I’d disconnected from nature and the simple joy of just being without constant noise and stimulation.
I’ve promised myself to book a week in a cabin every quarter now. I came back changed: with clarity, softness, and a lot more love in my life. I’ve been raving about this to all my friends — you’ve definitely gained a very happy returning customer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay from prep to finish! The Unyoked team really made a lot of effort to make the field guide which is super helpful and makes everything easy! The cabin we stayed at was SO well kitted. I was a little worried about bow comfy the bed would be but damn I was surprised! The mattress and duvet were SO comfy! We enjoyed the walk suggested by Unyoked team ( although what claims to be an hour walk ended up being 2.5hours…) Watching the stars and the galaxy under the woodfire was so magical. We feel very detoxed and very happy! Thanks Unyoked team! We will be back!
